AluaSoul Zakynthos - Adults only - All Inclusive

Nice all inclusive hotel with well maintained territory. Nice pools, especially those available exclusively for My favorite club. Always enough sunbeds. Sweets and fruits were quite good. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was spacious with a great view of the sea. Hotel has access to the sea. There's no beach, but ramp directly to the water.

Honestly speaking, most of the things we had some sort of issues with. Food in the buffet was a bit disappointing: we once got a raw chicken and several times scrambled eggs at breakfast were burnt. Sometimes you can get pretty tasty meals, but it's a lottery. As we payed for My favorite club, we could eat at a la carte restaurant as many times we can. However, you need to book it at least 24 hours upfront, also it wasn't working 2 days out of 7 we stayed for. We ended up eating there once, and the moussaka served there was so dry I couldn't finish it. Buffet had much more variety tbh. Apparently My favorite club members don't get access to all sunbeds: once near infinity pools are reserved for the rooms at the ground floor. We had a bath, but it was broken and couldn't hold any water. We filed this at reception, but maintenance couldn't fix it and just said sorry. Drinks were fine, but also quite basic. All bars (even for My favorite club) had the same set of drinks available. By far not the best all inclusive we've been to, but definitely the most expensive one. My favorite club is not really worth it.

Fantastic! Beautiful pools, food, drinks and the staff were wonderful

Our ocean view room with swim-up pool had a with fantastic view and quiet place to relax and enjoy to the sun. We loved it every day! A private ocean access with clear water was a great addition to the pool. While the rooms are close to each other you felt still private, rooms were quite and there were enough choices for sun bathing or rest with your book in the shade. The people were friendly and very helpful, especially the teams at the bar, reception and restaurant. The hotel feels nicely setup and like a little island on its own where you can relax. We booked a boat trip via the hotel which worked out very smoothly. Parking for your rental car was convenient as well. For all inclusive guests, we would like to highlight that the buffet and the food choices were very good and any drinks at the bar were great as well.

Old gym that didn't have enough towels to keep things clean, also only 1 treadmill for so many guests led to battles and often inconvenience between the guests. All inclusive package: There was a perfectly nice pool bar for club guests, however, only open from 10am until 6pm, which let to a crowed bar upstairs that is serving until 11 pm for all hotel guests. Dinner reservation at the a-la-carte restaurant was only possible for a few tables; For the first 3 days we couldn't get any space, that was a downer as it is not ideal to pay a lot and then need to eat 3 times a day at the same buffet. The buildings and facilities are nicely setup, but will need an update very soon, the colors of the wall and doors started to look worn out. Our swim-up pool also had tiles floating around. Entertainment program was not really our choice. We stayed for 7 nights not a single Greek music night or similar performances which made us to go outside and eat in the town to experience at least a bit of the Greek feeling.

Nice location. Easy walk to shops and bars in village. Breakfast was OK. Food fresh with plenty of choice. Staff were friendly, helpful and polite. Rooms (premium class) are comfortable and well appointed.

Not suitable for anybody with mobility issues. There are steep steps from the restaurant/reception area down to the pools, bars and sea. Lunch very average. Food acceptable but mostly same/similar fare every day. Dinner disappointing. Lack of imagination for hot dishes, mostly stew type. Grill bar completely underutilised. No fresh meat or fish cooked to order, no roasts. Only offerings were dishes of precooked fish, plates of precooked beefburgers (like flip flops) and dishes of hot dogs in rolls. Bathrooms are poorly laid out and have a small step to the shower which is a trip hazard. Also floor is extremely slippery when wet. Pools generally ok but insufficient sunbeds. Towels placed on sunbeds before 07.00 despite well advertised hotel rules not to reserve beds. Areas around pool edges slippery.
