Great location

Lovely apartment in Chefchouen. Host Mohammad met us at Bab Souk pick up point and assisted with the luggage. The apartment is spacious with 2 rooms (one upstairs, one downstairs), living area and 2 bathrooms - beautiful Moroccan style. Walking distance to the main square and restaurants. Highly recommended.

This is one of the most charming places I have ever stayed at, and I have travelled a lot. I am fascinated by it’s relatively simple basic design, but with a lot of details that make it special. I absolutely love open spaces and arches in general, and here you have arches even in the bathrooms! In addition, the location is superb, a lovely terrace offers a great space to chill out, weather allowing, and there’s a fire place to stay cozy inside when the weather is not cooperative.

Good location but difficult to carry suitcases from the car park. Small bathrooms and bedrooms.

1. Location is in the middle of town, close to medina and good restaurants 2. The living area is good to sit around. 3. Small terrace is good for sitting or even a small party. 4. Host had good communication.

1. Car parking location is quite far. Difficult to drag suitcases due to hilly lanes with cobblestones. 2. Bedrooms are small and cramped. They are smaller than what seems in the photographs. 3. Breakfast is not served. The "kitchen" is too small and not stocked up. 4. Bathrooms are very small and inconvenient.

Our stay was very nice. Casa mablu is very good value for money.

The location is lovely and the place is charming.

The kitchen is not at all well stocked. There is not even a spatula.

A delightful place, home in Chafchauen

The owner met us at the nearest parking (which was easy to find thanks to the explanations received on WhatsApp). Together with a porter, he helped us with the suitcases all the way to the property, as the old town is pedestrian-only. The house we rented is a traditional “riad”, renovated in an astonishing, beautiful traditional style. There is a large, pleasant living room, with a dining table, sofa and a working fireplace. There are two small but beautiful bathrooms, one on each floor. The terrace on the first floor is large, and has a dining table and a bar; beautiful! The sleeping room is provided with air conditioning but we also had a radiator, for the evenings are cold in November. The location is directly in the middle of the “medina”, which is the old downtown.

The kitchenette is indeed small. It was meant as a bar in the dining room (former patio) and is missing the most elementary pots and pans, making it difficult to prepare and serve meals… The shelves are too few and crowded so there is hardly any space to put things on.

A wonderful experience you should have in Morocco

The host was very friendly and helpful - showed me around the best places in the city, took photos of me and recommended a restaurant, after check out allowed me to leave my heavy bag. Easy communication through WhatsApp. I absolutely enjoyed my stay here and highly recommend it for others.

The owner, Mohamed was very helpful and friendly. He met us and walked with us to the house, explained the layout of the town and showed us how to get to the main square. The house was spacious and had loads of character. Great location too.

great location. the Owner Mohammed was super helpful. he came to the car park to help get parking and help with luggage. he also took us to a restaurant as we asked him to point us towards one. he also helped us with luggage and always ready to help.

Overall a nice stay. Host is very flexible.

We forgot to add an arrival time to our booking, which made the check in process a bit confusing. Luckily the host was in the area and asked us if we were looking for him ahah. The house was located in the historic part of the city which we liked very much. We had a kitchen, a fridge which was really useful to keep our water bottles cold for the next day and 2 bathrooms which was very convenient for a group of 4 people like we were. The host made our early morning check out very easy also.

The bathroom in the bottom floor had some problems. The toilet had no flush lid so we had to wet our hands to flush it everytime. And in the morning we had no water in this bathroom as well.. The neighbours were also a bit noisy but its all part of the experience uh? Overall we really enjoyed this place.

Superb

Very nice apartments decorated in a traditional style with Moroccan furniture and other interesting bright colors details. Living room with a lovely sofa and fireplace, cozy bedrooms and a wonderful rooftop terrace. The owner is very responsive, met us and helped us orientate in the city.

Best stay in Chefchouen

The owner was so nice and friendly and even helped getting my friend to the hospital because she got really sick. Thank u so much Mohammed :) The apartment was clean and really cute with a terrace.

Nice apartment, would stay again. Great location, beautiful terrace with view.

Great host, met us to show us the way to the apartment through the medina, quick to communicate via text. Comfortable apartment and the terrace was terrific! Such a beautiful view! Great location with walking distance to everything. Would stay again.

Nothing really. Kitchen is a little dark as it's at the bottom of the building, loungeroom is quite small, bedrooms were much nicer.
