The apartment is quite big and airy. It is comfortable with a well equipped kitchen. It is also a 5 mins walk from Rainbow street so it is quite central.

Noisy with upper flat (chairs trailing until 4pm) Fire alarm ringing until middle of the night, emergency call and text message had no answer to stop it, no feedback to my email neither Electric cable from inside flat thru windows and outside. Bedroom door can not be closed

The woman cleaning helped us since management told us we could leave baggage there before check-in, but there was really no place to leave it. Apartment itself was nice and very clean and comforable.

Response from management was totally absent. We sent several emails asking about a late check-out -never heard back. Tried phoning and the number would not work. Again, the cleaning woman was so nice and said she would come back later to clean so we could stay until time to go to the airport at 1:00 instead of 11:00.

The apartment was spacious. Check-in via the security box was easy. The large fridge and kitchen was useful.

Pickup/drop off was awkward. The apartment was missing some basic things that would have been helpful. The combined shower/toilet was small and it made it difficult for a family of 4. We stayed in better places in Iceland.

Location, large space, comfortable beds

Floors were not clean (dust and hair), would have appreciated a few kitchen items like coffee filters and cooking oil.

The place was great. Easy to access, close walking distance to the bus terminal, restaurants, shopping and most of downtown Reykjavik. The apartment itself was quiet, clean and beautiful.

There was no way to block out the light. There were slightly darker shades in the bedroom than in the living room but the door to the bedroom couldn’t close, as the bed was in its way. As travelers in the middle of summer when the sun never sets, it was a challenge to get enough sleep.

Due to a flight change, I had to find an apartment for one final night. I sent a note 24 hours ahead of time explaining the situation and asking if early check in might be possible. No response. I called. No response. Tried again in the morning. Same result. Gave up, showed up to check in between 3 and 4. Owners had sent no instructions. Didn’t respond to messages or phone calls from me or Booking for over an hour, while I sat out in the cold. Caused me to be late for plans on my last night of holiday. When they finally responded, all I got was “sorry.” Also: definitely not “luxury.” Old, dirty stairs (no elevator), shower floods the bathroom, there were dirty dishes in the dishwasher, and “instructions” stuck to the mirror that were more fitting for a hostel than a $400 a night apartment.

Location was great! Walkable to restaurants, pubs, and shopping. Comfortable beds and nice shower.

Street parking. We never had a problem finding parking but it can be a concern. And after 9:00 it is pay to park. Also it would have been nice to have a few staples in the kitchen— coffee and sugar at a minimum.

Exceptionally clean, perfect location, lovely furniture, and strong shower with spa quality shower gel. Super comfy beds with 100% cotton linen, lots of towels, and toilet rolls. Free parking just a street away was also great. Good communication from the owners with my questions, usually replied within 24 hours.

A welcome basket, or tea, coffee and milk, would have been appreciated particularly as we had booked the deluxe apartment. Batteries in TV remote need changing and freezer is too full of ice to be usable. A guide to the local area such as where to buy groceries would have also been handy.

location is great but you have to find your own street parking. Used lockbox for the key. Living room is big enough and the rooms are clean.

The spacious apartment was very new, clean and stylishly decorated. The bedrooms had comfortable beds with warm bedding. We had everything we needed for our stay (including reliable wifi, extra towels and bedding). It was close to Hallgrimskirkja and a main thoroughfare with lots of restaurants and shops, but removed enough to be very quiet.

Communication was spotty: we requested early check-in via messages through booking.com and emails and never received a response. We booked two units but only received check-in instructions for one until we asked (this message they did respond to promptly). There was a loud group staying in the unit above us having a raucous gathering late into the night, which we heard through the ceiling. The dishes left in the dishwasher by the previous guests were dirty, so we had to wash everything before we had anything to use.

Location is a stone throw from the centre, excellent place to stay for new years, 10 minutes walk from the church for the firework display. Really warm inside and very spacious. Kitchen had everything you need for a short break and the dishwasher was a bonus too.

My only concern was when we arrived we got the keys from the key safe and changed the code so it wasn't left with the correct one showing. When we was leaving the correct code had already been put back in. I don't know if this was from the host to check if we had left without disturbing us or if it was someone else who had checked for keys whilst we was staying. Either way we kept the keys with us at all times during our stay.

Location was great...close to everything. Quiet street. Was able to park next to the building. Very comfortable beds. Plenty of towels. Immaculately clean. Would definitely stay there again.
