During our week's stay staff were working under difficult circumstances (major renovations & upgrades to some of the rooms/units.) Inspite of that they were as considerate as possible & kept us up to speed with potential noise & other renovation related issues. Rooms, gardens & surrounds are pretty & very well maintained. We experienced all the staff as being friendly, however Grace (reception) & Njamba (taking care of gardens) are people we will remember for many years to come. 🙂

Internet connection was very unstable

Nice place to stay at. We were 3 and they had a triple room which best suited our needs. Their swimming pool is to die for. We enjoyed it a lot. The restaurant staff was very kind and accommodating. Very quiet and beautiful gardens.

The lodge is a reasonable distance from the city center where most activities are. It's suitable if you drive. It also works out fine with taxis/cabs though that will add to your expenses.

Forewarn us about round plugs

Stayed in double room and triple room with kids. Facilities were clean and comfortable. Excellent value for money. Good breakfast in the morning and the staff were very friendly and helpful with booking taxis and excursions. Special shout out to Grace and Panashe who have amazing customer service and made every contact such a pleasure.

Maybe breakfast could do with some variety

We'd spent 10 days camping in Africa, and it was great to have a nice hotel with crisp white sheets are the end of our holiday. The place was clean and the staff were friendlyy

Internet was hit and miss

The food was good and the staff responsiveness was excellent!

There was a mix-up when we arrived. Our names were not on the arrival cards and we had to call the Lodge, then wait for someone to pick us up. So we missed the wonderful grand welcome that we saw others received.
