Stunning craftsmanship, tucked away on a quiet, serene property, but within minutes of town. Couldn’t ask for more in regards to hospitality, promptly responses, and have absolutely no complaints. There’s a couple pups to greet you, both very friendly. The famous sourdough is a delight!

The owner Richard was a master woodwooker and built the B&B himself. If you appreciate details everywhere that are not ordinary you would enjoy exploring this place. The breakfast table had a mast of a salvaged sailboat instead of a generic pole. Very impressive. They were very accommodating to people’s different schedules for breakfast times..would stay again

Sourdough Sunrise is a charming house built by the hands of a true artisan. We had a delicious breakfast every day accompanied by funny and adventurous stories by the owner. We loved our stay and recommend it to future travelers.

The owners were so nice and made us feel right at home. The breakfast was delicious. It was our first time at a B&B, so we were expecting more “hotel-like” accommodations like cable, but overall, it was a delightful experience. The detailed woodwork throughout the property was breathtaking and we would definitely stay here again.

Amazing stay for three nights!!! Super clean, comfortable beds and delicious homemade breakfast each morning!! Sourdough pancakes!!!!Great outside deck for relaxing at the end of the day and watching wildlife! Reminded me of staying at a quaint little German pension! Delightful!!

We liked the quiet location. Pancakes are good (ate one even though I am Gluten sensitive) and enjoyed talking with owner.

Need blackout shades or curtains....really struggled to sleep without them. Breakfast good but if staying a few nights would be nice to have some eggs or something. Shower stall is very small.

Unique, quaint & clean large wood cabin with 3 bedrooms each with a private bath. Richard’s woodwork details are amazing- they’re everywhere so take the time to notice to truly appreciate the love & care put into this B&B.

Richard & Sue are awesome hosts & provided great recommendations. The sourdough pancake breakfast is amazing! We got to watch a new born moose with its Mom hang out in the yard.

It was very lovely to have a homemade breakfast. It was well balanced (pancakes, cantaloupe, bacon and juice) and the kitchen space is warm and inviting. We saw a mother and baby moose right on the property - this property is remote enough that the wildlife is easy to see!

Upon arrival, we learned that the wifi is not set up to be usuable by guests - it is only reliable for the hosts (as the router is set up next to the office). Richard was very difficult to work with, was not interested in finding a way to provide wifi to our room. This caused us to have to cancel our remote work with less than 12 hours notice, we had to book a new accomodation within hours, and Richard was very un-apologetic and sent the breakfast berating us and sharing how this causes him lost money (and not interested at all in the impact it had for us as his guests). He didn't show any remorse for listing an amenity that he isn't providing and he has stated he has no intention of providing wifi beyond the router next to the office.

It was very great place to stay. The owner was very friendly and told us all kinds of stories. The pancakes were awesome! Location was great!

Everything was excellent; Cosy room, clean, quiet, great hosts and a perfect breakfast.

The room was spotless! Impeccably clean and very comfortable. It is a lovely cabin in a beautiful lush wooded area (yet still close to town) with a mountain view and amazing breakfast, it doesn't get much better than that! My family had a wonderful time and would highly recommend this bnb🙂
