The location. The staff are pleasant and accommodating.

The size of the room is small, the overall layout of the room is weird. Also, there’s no bidet in the toilet. There’s also a lot of noise from the top floors and other rooms at night which makes it hard to sleep.

It is an exquisite facility with its location very close to important points. The interest of the staff is also very gratifying. It was a very elegant detail to have wine sent to our room on my husband's birthday. Thank you for everything. And many thanks especially to Kostas at the reception for his interest.

The hotel sits upon a contemporary restaurant and is known for it's exceptionally fresh and creative take on made to order food. It was delicious. For breakfast, which can be as large/small as you like it and you may choose anything on its varied menu.The hotel concept was added after the restaurant . Customer service was great, particularly Konstantin, who was exceptionally warm and helpful while being a consummate hotel professional. The hotel is in a great city location, walkable to the Monatraiki and Plaka neighbhorhoods and metro. It is very close to great restaurants and big shopping areas, both for tourists and locals. The design of the room is airy and modern, with one of the larger showers in all of Europe and a really comfortable bed with high quality linens and very fluffy towels and bath robes and good lighting. The ability to reduce heating of this warm room during winter was very helpful.

My constructive criticism of the room regards the architects and designers for whom form takes a lead over function. I think it would be helpful for them to spend a night in their hotel. Our queen bed fit snuggly on a platform a step up from the rest of the rectangular room necessitating a person sleeping closest to the glass wall to get their side one of two ways: literally climb over their partner, or shimmy sideways along the foot of the bed in an area about a foot wide with your back to the large tv mounted against the wall. in the evening,the music and chatter in the restaurant below is audible but quiets at about 10pm. There is one bedside table and small table holding a safe within and an exposed clothes bar to hang things. The luggage rack wedged next to one bed. Aside from these to things, there is very little space to place things. The sink is really shallow and there is are two spaces the size of a salad plate to place toiletries. There are no hooks . A few hooks and a some shelf space would have been enormously helpful. Someone with mobility issues might have challenges with the bed placement.

Ergon House location is central and an easy walk to most places. The surroundings are charming and the breakfast is delicious. The staff are wonderful and extremely helpful.

The bed is low with two high steps inside the room.

Everything was perfect! But the best thing about is the breakfast! Oh my god! I can still taste the fresh baked bread and the amazing shalshouka!

Wonderful hotel in a great location. Amazing breakfast and market downstairs. Very friendly and helpful staff too. We would definitely stay here again next time in Athens.

Α unique place to stay . The moment you enter all those delicious smells from the restaurant , fill your nose . Very very good food . The rooms are modern , clean and spacious . The staff is extremely polite and welcoming. I would stay there again and again . 100/10 .

The market on the first floor was nice. Rooms were spacious and mini bar was reasonably priced.

There was no place to eat the food from the market outside of your hotel room on property. Rooftop was closed, despite nice weather.

Cet hôtel est vraiment exceptionnel, l'ambiance, la beauté des lieux (espaces communs, salle de sport et chambre), la terrasse sur le toit, le service tout était vraiment incroyable. Nous ne regrettons pas le petit effort financier que nous avons fait pour réserver cet hôtel. Le petit déjeuner est à la carte et à volonté (ils font des doggy bag si vous avez les yeux plus gros que le ventre), nous avons testé pas mal de plats et ils étaient tous très bons. Les spécialités grecques servies sur la terrasse sont à goûter ! Le coucher de soleil avec vue sur le panthéon est très appréciable. Nous reviendrons !

L'insonorisation vers l'extérieur est vraiment très faible, même si notre chambre ne donnait pas sur la rue principale nous entendions tout ce qu'il se passait dehors (et il s'en passait des choses!). Nous avons quand même très bien dormi.

Impossible to walk around the bed as not enough space between bed and wall or bed and television, this could be of concern if 2 people slept in the bed and needed the loo during the night. OK for me as a solo occupant.

Needs more hooks in the room/bathroom

we liked that there was a market and restaurant right downstairs. The breakfast which was included was great!

we were greeted by very unpleasant staff who didn’t tell us anything about the hotel. absolutely no one offered to assist with baggage and certainly didn’t offer to help with any reservations or suggestions. our coffee cups in the room were gross and dirty. we paid extra for our children even though we booked a family room. our welcome box was nothing children would ever want or eat. very representative of our experience with the staff. in the mornings you could hear every single noise, sentence and toilet flush of the room next to us!

Location excellent, right in the heart of Athens. Modern, clean but still reminds you it’s Greece! We only stayed here overnight ( wish it was longer), but beds were comfortable, the gift in the room of local delicacies was fantastic and a lovely surprise. Amenities were excellent! Would definitely stay here again. Food was great and loved having the market downstairs especially for last minute souvenirs.

Nothing not to like

My friend and I stayed at Ergon House for our first three nights in Greece earlier this month. We absolutely loved it! Ergon House has incredible service with the best staff. Unfortunately during our stay, my friend had her phone stolen while walking to dinner outside of the hotel. At the time, Tasos was working reception and went above and beyond by not only calling the police, but calmly helping us through the situation while we waited for the police to arrive. Tasos also helped with arranging transportation to and from the hotel multiple times, including when we called the hotel and needed to be picked up from the train station after an excursion. In addition to this, he always made sure we had plenty of extra water in our room which was awesome, since Athens had extremely hot temperatures during our stay. We cannot rave enough about the amazing complimentary breakfast Ergon House offers. We are still talking about what we ate during our stay. During our 18 days in Greece, we stayed in a total of 7 hotels/airbnbs, and Ergon House had the best staff, service, and breakfast out of all of them. We cannot recommend Ergon House enough to others staying in Athens.

Nothing- we loved everything

The included breakfast was excellent! The rain shower was also great but the drain was a little slow.

The rooms lacked privacy due to the very open bathroom area. It made changing and getting dressed difficult. Also, the rooms were very noisy. We could hear our neighbors talking and the restaurant customers downstairs.

The Ergon House delicatessen and restaurant was amazing. The food was very good. Hotel staff was very kind and helpful. The location of the hotel is top notch.
