Zentrale aber ruhige Lage Große Zimmer freundliches Personal

Sehr ruhige Lage. Man ist in zehn Minuten am Flughafen. Sehr freundliches Personal. Zimmer sind sehr geräumig und sauber.

Schöne Anlage, gepflegt, sehr gutes Essen, freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Josie und Armand möchten wir besonders in der Freundlichkeit hervorheben. Armand hat uns beim online Check in unseres Weiterflugs problemlos geholfen. Waren 2 Nächte dort. Gute Lage zum Airport. Shuttle Service für gerade mal 200 Rand, absolut ok.

Fanden die Zimmer sehr dunkel Safe ging nicht da Batterien fehlten. Obwohl wir dies mitteilten und uns zugesagt wurde das dies behoben wird, erfolgte dies nicht. Vermutlich einfach vergessen

Stopover

It is a nice place for stopover at O.R. Tambo. Very friendly staff, one can relax very good on the property's garden, they serve good food. We did arrive already before noon and it took only 20 minutes to get our room set up. We used another accomodation for stopover four days later and can confirm that Avant Garde Lodge was better.

Очень красивая и ухоженная территория. Все на очень высоком уровне.

Искал несколько часов. Находится в совершенно ужасном месте среди складов аэропорта и промышленных предприятий. Около аэропорта. Место ну очень странное. Но внутри все супер.

Superb

Very cozy, feels like staying in a huge private villa, the staff and the owner are very friendly and helpful. Excellent choice for staying near the airport, recommended!!

The room feels a little old and the lights were a bit too dark. The images of the pool were misleading.

All staff were very friendly and lovely. Dinner was great! Good value for money.

A bit farther from the airport than I thought but was able to get the Uber from the staff.

Fine and low key and value for money given the price.

All fine and low key. Food good staff great and helpful Overall quite acceptable and good for the price.

No real swimming pool. A little run down- needs some maintenance eg some of the faucets need replacing as they are not easy to switch off.

I enjoyed my stay.

I normally never write reviews about my stay in other lodges because often I am disappointed by what I find. On this occassion however, I thought I will write because the place has exceeded my expectations. It's quiet, comfortable, more like home away from home. The food was great and staff attentive.

On the description on booking.com they have stated that electric blanket is included, which it wasn't. They either need to add those or remove it from booking.com. Having said so, the room was warm and comfortable.

The staff made all the effort so we feel comfortable, however it seems like they are a bit clueless.,. Dinner was good. We ordered half board, and we could pick anything from the restaurants menu,

We ordered a ride from the airport. We notified the hotel 24 hours in advance that the time was changed. The hotel approved, but did not come to pick us up at the right time.i had to call them from the airport. Internet in the room doesn't work. Many disconnections. The owner tried to help by rebooting the routers. We left early and asked for a packed breakfast. We got nice sandwiches but there was nothing else. Our children who did not like the sandwich had nothing to eat... I expected more variety.

Very convenient location, nice staff and large rooms.

Loved having airport shuttle prearranged and close proximity to airport for early morning flights. Rooms were nice size.

Beds rather hard and not the most comfortable, rooms could use a bit more maintenance and fixing of items not working properly.

Location convenient for air travelers. Provide relaxing break after long travels

Location perfect to stay because close to airport. Airport shuttle quiet convenient. Facility environment very peaceful for overnight stay before and after flight. Food available on location.

Our home in Africa!

Coming home to Africa is what our stay at the Avant Garde Lodge feels like every time. This was our 3x time we were there, the 4th time is already booked. Super nice place close to the airport and for us ideal to start and end your Southern Africa roundtrip. Armand and his team are super hospitable and deliver great service. See you soon.

Very good

The Manager and Staff were very friendly, flexible and helpful. The Lodge is surrounded by a beautifull garden that invites for relaxation. The airport is close and the shuttle for the lodge super and cheap! We would come anytime again.

Book this hotel

This place is a heaven just a few km from the airport. They have a good restaurant for dinner and drinks. After booking 1 night we added a day use of Rand 900 (march 2023) to use the room until we had to go to the airport at 21.30. So we could enjoy the place the full day, the food, the pool within a beautiful green, quiet area and lovely people at the hotel. Instead of hanging around the city a full day, we could relax and go to our flight back home totally fresh and relaxed.

OK for a single overnight stay.

Clean, spacious room. Tea and coffee making facilities. Good evening meal.

Sparse furnishings in the room. Only one bottle of water for 2 people. Ran out of breakfast food (bacon) by 09.30.
