It was doable but not what I expected.
Quiet even though there were lots of ATVs.
Needs lots of work done to the property. Lots of potholes, ceiling tiles broken, front window blinds broken, floors dirty, bedding comforter was soiled, old towels, entryway to room had a board with an old rug on it. Driveway and parking lot needs gravel. Restaurant closes if there are too many people and not open through the week, no coffee maker in room and the whole town basically shuts down on Monday. Moosehead Lake is not a town that I would visit again. Moose population is in decline and so is the town of Greenville. Nothing to do and few places to eat. The lodge is ok but needs lots of care. Great for hunters, fishermen and ATVs.

Superb
Pet friendly and the kitchenette was a bonus, even though I did not use it as my stay was just one day.

This is an unappealing venue inside and outside.
No breakfast was available. An unattached restaurant was open until 8:00 pm.
A visually unappealing venue catered to mainly male snowmobiling enthusiasts. The lower floor rooms were in between some shoddy renovations. There were large unfinished holes in the ceilings where wobbly plumbing fixtures were placed. The ceilings were old, and paint covered up water spots and possible mold. Loud noises penetrated from the rooms above. Privacy was compromised because the eye-level blinds had broken and missing slats. There were no functional outside lights in any of the lower-level rooms. No exterior maintenance, snow removal, or sanding was observed in the parking lot or to the individual rooms. The entire motel area was icy and dangerous. The star rating for this venue is not appropriate. It's a one-star venue at best. I will never return to this motel.

Clean, affordable and spacious, staff was gracious.
Room was clean and larger than expected, staff was great.
There wasn't anything we disliked.

Comfortable and good value for the money, but remote and unsafe due to no safety lock on door.
We liked the comfort and amenities of our room - cozy, clean, and rustic by a small kitchen complete with a stove, refrigerator, and microwave. The facility delivered on our booking request for a quiet room as we were at the end of a motor lodge-type row. The heating was quick to reach a warm temperature. For those who enjoy a remote setting, it had that.
Everything about this facility is remote. We had to ring a bell (as the sign instructed) for the front desk person, and once we had our key we never saw them again. There was no deadbolt or even safety chain on our door. l repeat: there was no deadbolt or safety chain on our door. Just a doorknob push lock - easy to jimmy. I have never seen this kind of oversight (neglect?) in a hotel or motel in my life. Perhaps life in Greenville is so safe that the residents don't have to lock their doors. But one must allow for basic safety when outsiders come and go to this facility. The facility is remote in a remote part of Maine. A little bit of "Bates Hotel" until they fix this safety lock on the door. No breakfast.

Good place if you want to cook and it has a restaurant Thursday-Sunday in fall.
The kitchen was great and the accommodation was more like a small apartment than a hotel room.
We were very confused as to where to check in. (It’s upstairs at the back of the restaurant which is a separate building from the hotel). No one was at the checkin desk initially but we were there a few minutes before checkin time.

Good
Good location; nice staff; spartan, but clean room.
Noise from people walking around above our room. Outside needs some touchups--too dingy.
