Great Stay

The property is located on an island and has free shuttle services to and fro from the main city. The hotel has amazing views. The room was clean, the staff were polite and extremely helpful. The housekeeping was prompt with their service.

Very little options for vegetarians.

Fabulous setting on a private island, with a free ferry service.

Location, location and location! What more could you ask for than a private island? The free ferry ride to the centre was really a treat. Excellent breakfast. Spacious room. Quite good dinner buffet with friendly waiter.

Pyramisa deserves a 10 for their efforts to upgrade the hotel - and in particular the lady sitting at the guest services desk in the lobby - but the initial impressions at check-in weren't overly positive; with unprofessional and impolite service.

El hotel en sí esta muy bonito, cuenta con una alberca muy grande (aunque la cierran muy temprano). La chica de atención a cliente fue muy amable aunque su insistencia por dar una buena calificación fue demasiado.

Al llegar al hotel nadie te ayuda para tomar el barco y llegar al hotel. En ocasiones se tiene que esperar bastante tiempo a que el barco llegue. El WIFI es pésimoooo, no lo recomiendo si necesitas internet. El staff no es tan amable

Very decadent hotel for this price, a pity as the location is really great but no maintenance at all.

Food very very average Lots of facilities closed or not working Small things like having to pay a fee to play ping-pong in a supposed 5 stars hotel Finally at checkout a person was waiting for us and wanting to force us to rate the hotel with 10 in front of her, in order to make the overall rate go up. Very pushy and completely inappropriate. This hotel could be fantastic if the maintenance would be seriously considered. It is way overpriced.

Great stay and easy to get back to mainland for tours.

The pool staff were lovely and very accommodating - always there with towels and food and drink orders. Christeen the guest relations manager was there to greet us at our check in and was very helpful if we had any questions. Hotel was clean and room was a great size. Buffet was a good selection of food at a good price.

Definitely recommend staying here and will be back!

The staff and customer service are amazing. From Hamdy at housekeeping to Christine the Guest Relations manager to the Bellman to the pool staff to the Maître D at the Ramses restaurant. Everyone was so welcoming and customer focused on our every need. The food was great, the pool was super relaxing and beautiful with fountain islands in the middle. The view from the room was spectacular of the Nile. The ferry off the hotel property operates 24/7 and takes about 5 minutes or so to get us to the shore. The staff are so kind.

Property reminds of glorious past but uncertain future!!!

large property on an island with good views.

we visited the property on 08th May. it looked deserted. no restaurants were open. no options for good lunch/dinner. the breakfast menu was not up-to the mark. also property needs renovation as it had old key type access to the rooms.

Nice view. Nice location. Big territory. Everything that was outside the hotel was nice.

When we come first time inside, there were hairs in the bath,plumbing is very old, was no possibility to stop water in the bath, ectually it was my first time experience in life like that. 😁 The hotel is old and everything is very old inside and should be refreshed. The hotel price is overrated. The real price should be 50-60 dollars per night max. And they rated us 130$ per night for the standard room with Nile river view.

Charming location: on a private island - we stayed literally with the Nile at our feet for 3 days in Aswan:) It gets quiet and lovely, shielded from the loud and crazy Aswan center life - the hotel has 2 terraces to enjoy both sunrises and sunsets on the Nile/desert 24/7 food/drinks availability, great shopping at the resort, great travel agency supporting us with the trip to Abu Simbel and airport transfers - friendly staff

Food was really basic - and quite a surprising bad quality: we had to stick with salads and bread/fried pizza Hotel is stuck in the 90's with facilities and garden landscapes

stunning views of the river. great buffet. rooms were great. boat ride to get to the hotel was really cool. wish we stayed longer than 1 night

the room was not maintained basic kits (dental kit, slippers, shower caps,.. we’re not provided. phone was not working fire alarm was ringing in the morning for two days no support service for elder people AC controller was broken and could cause an electric shock
