Fantastic location easy access to nightlife. We are returning soon to enjoy a longer stay!

Everything. This place is comfortable and is a hidden gem on the island. One of the high points is having breakfast while overlooking the ocean.

Great hotel, Great value

Very friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfast buffet. Great location. Chedraui grocery store is 4 blocks away. Cheap cab ride to town but is also a good walk. Nice big pool. Good seaside snorkel area. Nice clean room. Comfortable bed. Good water pressure in bathroom.

Superb

Great location. Close enough to the main town to walk to different restaurants and shops but far enough away for a quiet resort feel. The property is a little dated but well maintained with plenty of nice features. The pool area is fantastic and nice terrace for breakfast overlooking their private beach area and drive center. Overall, an excellent value.

I did move rooms because the first one was one that corresponded with the next room with an interior door (designed to accommodate a family). That feature made my room very loud from noise coming from the room next door. My new room was much quieter as it didn't have that connection to the next room.

i thought it was very nice but was disappointed because when i booked it , it was supposed to be s pool view and a mini fridge, we were not close to pool and our view was the wall next to the street

Location is great, staff is excellent, everything else was unpleasant.

The only thing that was good was the staff. They were friendly, helpful and genuine. They were the best and only good part of my stay.

Pretty much everything—the whole place was run down. No way this is a 3 or 4 star. Not very clean, though housekeeping did a very good job. Loud music everywhere, even at breakfast, and the food was pretty substandard. I am not a resort person but it was recommended as having good snorkelling so I thought I'd give it a try. The beach club was loud and small and the snorkelling average. This resort is over-priced, and there were late-night partying guests who were pretty obnoxious and many of them were smoking even though laws about smoking have changed in Mexico. I left early because spending even one more night was intolerable.

I would stay again for sure

This hotel has the best breakfast. Was able to walk to grocery store. Happy to hang out at the hotel!

Disappointing value for money

Good sized pool, jacuzzi and outdoor bar. plenty of sun beds. Taxi rank at the hotel to take you into town. Cheap drinks at the bars.

No hot water for 3 days even after speaking to reception everyday. Wi-Fi was poor and sometimes not available in the rooms. This wouldn’t usually be a problem but due to the weather we were hotel bound for a few days. We spent Christmas Day at the hotel and there was nothing planned or available which was a shame. Very basic room and didn’t have a fridge.

Lovely pool area although parts of it need refurbishment.

Soulless vibe to the hotel. No effort made to ensure guest were happy. Whole hotel is in need of a facelift. Would definitely not recommend all inclusive here.

The hotel is old, dated, most staff not friendly, hard bed, hard pillows, difficult and dangerous bath tub to get in and out of, shower head extremely low, no conditioner just weird smelling shampoo, no wash cloths, “free” breakfast not good, coffee even worse, see through curtains in room - not “black out” by any means, dresser drawers fall out when slightly opened, wall unit a/c barely keeps room cool, oddly small TV, moldy bathroom on, rusted soap holder in tub/shower….. Oh and double charged by booking.com and hotel claiming they did not receive payment from booking.com so had to pay in full upon check in. This issue was resolved after I noticed that booking.com did indeed charge my credit card and went to front desk to inquire. The double charge was returned to me in cash rather than onto my credit card. Bizarre! In the decades of travel all over the world, that was a first. This hotel is a Wyndham? What a joke. I will never book with your company again. What a mess straightening out the double charge through no fault of my own.

Breakfast had long hours and good options. Convenient location.

Water from the shower smelled faintly like sewage. Beds were hard and there weren't any sheets besides a very thin one.

We had a great time in our short stay

We only stayed for two nights and did not book the AI option. The hotel is really nice (though needs some patch up in some places), but all in all we had a great room with all the amenities we hoped for. The staff was very nice and helpful. Breakfast was good - nothing special! We really enjoyed the pool!

Since we did not have the AI option it was a little hard to pay our drinks with cash, since there was never anyone who could do it or we had to wait extra long on change.

Definitely not for picky travellers

Most of staff are very friendly and helpful. Christian-bar tender at La Papala bar on the beach was knowledgeable and very friendly to all guests that he attends and always making sure they are taken care for. Foods are mediocre except for Italian dinners with excellent foods- Kudo to the chef who prepared Italian dinners

outdated facility. My bathroom tub has cracks in the tub- All public restroom and bathroom with the guest room have very tight space. People above 5'5 will have a hard time fitting their legs and knees in such a tight space

We come for the great rooms and fabulous pool area. We will keep coming!

The wifi has greatly improved since our last visit. That made us very happy. I can see that improvements are being made. However I miss the beautiful statue that was beside the fabulous pool. Comfortable beds and great A/C. I prefer to have meals at the waterfront restaurant, I wish more meals were served there. Dinner at sunset there would be lovely!

The food has not improved. Its not very good. That's the main issue with this property. I love trying new things, but most dishes were bland. The specialty nights foods were better. I don't do all inclusive, so I pay for our drinks, so it would be great if the paid drinks were better. I understand making small low quality drinks for all-inclusive people who may abuse the program, but if I'm paying full price for each drink, it should be worth it....

Vibrant atmosphere, staff were AMAZING, pool was relaxing and warm, TV had both English and Spanish movies all the time, right across from scuba diving and pick up for snorkeling, decent walk (22 min) from the pier

Not a 4 star hotel

Breakfast was ok

The place is run-down. At most it can be considered a 3 star hotel for sure not 4. The AC in our room was leaking when we arrived. They sent someone to fix it but left it doing a strange loud noise. Nobody came to clean the leak. We asked to change rooms as there was clearly something wrong with the AC but instead they sent someone to fix it twice. At the end it was never fixed and we could not sleep due to the sound of the broken AC

Overall, it was great. We didn’t spend much time at the hotel but we enjoyed it

Location was great, close to everything. Food was great. Staff was welcoming and caring

Pillows were hard. A lot of insects, ants crawling in bathroom sink, mouse poop outside on the windows. No beach, just rocky area

Definitely if you like the hot climate, this is the spot for you to stay! I wanted to stay longer!

The rooms were nicely laid out. It was great to be able to watch TV in English. The pool was very nice to relax in. Also the evening music was nice, even if I didn't leave my room in the evening. It sounded like everyone was having a good time!

It was a bit weird to step so high up into the tub and to get out of it almost was a bad landing. I am pretty accustomed to the height to get in and out of a tub and I wasn't ready for the extra step out. Also found the height of the showerhead to be a bit low. And I'm not a tall person.

The pool was nice.

The power went out and it was incredible hot over the night, some rooms were working on the backup generator, but ours was not. couldn’t sleep, it was very hot. There was a lizard in the room during the entire stay. Cleaning in the room was minimal. The wifi was very very bad. The breakfast was average, lunch by the pool was average too.

Excellent for laid-back scubadiving

Beach is great, but NOT sandy all the way. Water can be accessed via stairs. Offers all options from sun to shade, sunbeds and -chairs, hammocks. Direct scuba diving option from the beach! Or book a boat trip with the on-site dive-shop and embark right next to the hotel. Breakfast was good. Drinks at bat are good quality and cheap. {except beer}

The room was adequate. However the door to the adjacent room (romms could be connected on demand) did not block any noise. You can follow the entire discussion of your neighbours Dinner had poor quality and limited choise.

Nice beach very friendly staff.

I love the little beach area and the access to swimming in snorkeling.

There wasn't much options for vegetarian or vegans but the breakfast works for us.
