Comfortable, in-budget with serene views to the Acropolis

The property is in a prime location, with sublime views of the Acropolis. We were provided the Family Suite, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable for a family of 3. The hosts Chloe and Evelyn were extremely helpful and polite!

Traumhafter Studienaufenthalt in einem ruhigen Winkel Athens

Wir waren als Gruppe von Archäologiestudentinnen vier Tage in Athen unterwegs, um uns die antiken Sehenswürdigkeiten anzuschauen. Das heißt, wir sind früh aufgestanden und waren den ganzen Tag unterwegs. Unsere Anforderung an das Appartement war, dass es ruhig, zentral und sicher ist. Für unsere Zwecke hat all das genau gepasst. Die Hauptsehenswürdigkeiten waren alle bequem innerhalb von 10-20 min. zu Fuß erreichbar. In der Nähe gibt es kleine Geschäfte und eine sehr gute Bäckerei, aber auch nette kleine Cafés. Es ist nicht sehr touristisch, was uns gefallen hat. Dass man alle Räume, auch die Küche komplett abdunkeln kann, hat uns gut gefallen. Auch die Raumtemperatur war sehr gut regulierbar. Vom Balkon der Familiensuite aus hat man einen traumhaften Blick auf die Akropolis. Die Betten in den Zimmern sind sehr bequem, die Küche sehr gut ausgestattet (z.B. mit Geschirrspülmittel, Schwamm, genug Geschirr). Das Zimmer wurde jeden Tag gereinigt und der Müll wurde weggebracht. Außerdem haben wir alle zwei Tage frische Handtücher bekommen. Es gibt auch Gästehausschuhe. Seife, Duschgel und Shampoo sind von guter Qualität. Was ich besonders nett fand: da ich mit Handgepäck angereist bin, wurde mir eine Yogamatte zur Verfügung gestellt und ich konnte meine zu Hause lassen.

Wir hatten schon geahnt, dass das Schlafsofa in der Küche nicht so bequem ist, wie die Betten, aber dass der Unterschied so groß ist, hatten wir nicht geahnt. Wir haben dann einfach abwechselnd am Sofa geschlafen, damit alle mal ausschlafen konnten.

Fantastic friendly hotel with everything thought of and great location.

The view from our balcony and the roof terrace took some beating even in early January! Quiet side of the Acropolis - so close to the site, the museum and all the other attractions of central Athens. It was a return visit with the family and the staff were so welcoming and the hotel even better than I remembered.

Thank you for the wonderful Athens experience

- Staff: it was a self check-in and check-out process as we came in later than service hours. The staff gave us a lot of food recommendations on the messages and also are very responsive on the messages. The staff tried to get to know us and are so friendly. The staff also helped us arrange airport transportation early in the morning and we got to the airport without a hitch. - Facilities: we were given an upgraded room that has a view to the Acropolis, which is such a nice bonus gesture. There are parking spots along the streets, but one has to look around for them. The rooftop deck view of the Acropolis is amazing - I can sit there all day just looking at the site. - Cleanliness: the room was very clean and modern. The staff takes time to clean them. Our towels and linens are refreshed and renewed regularly. - Comfort: We were assigned suite on the 4th floor. The building is in a quiet neighbourhood. The rooms are very quiet.The main bed is very comfortable. The sofa bed appeared to be large but we haven't tried to sleep on it. The bathroom has a fan. The AC is clean and works well, and it changes to heating once the weather is colder. The kitchen is fully stocked for cooking (microwave, stove, oven, large fridge, cutlery, cups, plates, Nespresso machine). - Location: It is close enough to the Acropolis and far enough to be away from the noise. We love the fact that the suite is very quiet. - Overall value: 9/10. Not bad at all!

Some minor details that are more for awareness than negative: - we didn't watch much TV, but TV is rather far and small from the sofa. - while there is a Nespresso machine, 2 pods were given and refills are with instant coffee packets. Would be nice to have more pods that can work with the machine but doesn't necessarily have to be Nespresso branded pods.

Marvellous, ideal location, great accommodation, wonderful staff

Very friendly and helpful staff made me feel very welcome. The room was gorgeous, very well laid out, modern and classy. Will stay again.

LED lights are all horrific, very white, not bright enough, very cold lights. Some of the fixtures, hooks etc are loose and need fixing; sink is blocked and needs some TLC;

Loved my stay there & definetly choosing this place again for my next stay in Athens!

The two different apartments I rented during my stay was both spacious & well decorated. I really enjoyed the one with the balcony that had a spectacular view of Acropolis but balcony or not. The rooftop terrace has an even more spectacular view of it! The staff was great & very helpful too & there’s lot of great restaurants in the area as well as shopping.

Très bien situé, proche de tout, vue magnifique, confortable, personnel au top.

Très bel hôtel à deux pas de l'acropole, entouré de bars sympa et de restaurants à découvrir. Les chambres sont impeccables, et le rooftop pour contempler l'Acropole en se reposant est vraiment un gros plus. Le personnel (deux jeunes femmes qui se relayaient selon les heures) était plus que parfait. Nous avons rencontré quelques difficultés avec une location de voiture, et le personnel de l'Acro Urban Suites a été adorable et très compréhensif avec nous; elles ont fait de leur mieux pour nous aider et, à défaut, nous soutenir. Mention spéciale à l'incroyable Spyros, qui passait par là, et a été un véritable ange gardien qui a transformé une catastrophe en rêve éveillé. Cette personne n'est pas employée de l'hôtel mais travaille en collaboration avec; vous aurez peut-être la chance de le croiser =)

Perfektes Hotel für Athen

Uns hat alles gefallen. Im Vorfeld und während unseres Aufenthaltes hatten wir immer wieder sehr netten Kontakt mit den Inhabern, sie hatten ein Ohr wenn wir Fragen hatten. Jeden Abend waren wir auf der Dachterrasse und haben den spektakulären Ausblick auf die Akropolis genossen. Bett war sehr bequem, Klimaanlage hat sehr gut funktioniert, ein Aufzug ist vorhanden und die Lage ist unschlagbar. Wir waren 7 Nächte da. Perfektes Hotel für uns. Wir möchten uns ganz herzlich für den schönen Aufenthalt bedanken. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Superb

It’s hard to overstate how much we liked our stay here. We were in the family suite at the very top and the apartment was just great. The views from the balcony and the roof deck are fantastic. And if you are attending a concert at the Odeon as we did, it is a five minute walk up to the end of the street. We also received a warm and friendly welcome when we arrived - a nice plus.

Amazing location, staff and suite. Family of 6 was comfortable other than the pull out couch which they are working on getting thicker mattresses for. Other than that, just right! 8 mins walk to Acroplolis, close to restaurants and shops and Plaka. Will definitely book again.

Lovely apartment, well located, well appointed, beautiful views of the Acropolis

Well appointed modern apartment. Very clean with good facilities and a beautiful view up to the Acropolis. Nice neighbourhood - shops and good restaurants nearby. Staff super friendly and helpful.

Even though the bathroom was clean it did smell slightly on entry - and the shower was slow to empty. Apparently there had been an issue with the plumbing. That said this did not affect our stay.

Perfect location apartment with affectionate staff and comfy place

Chloe, the front desk was so helpful when we asked for 2 full days itinerary. She was so accommodating and shared some local tips where should we go and eat. Our stay in Athens was perfect and enjoyable. We had great time being in this apartment, which is near to Acropolis. The view on the 5th floor was amazing and relaxing.

Just had a little problem on the toilet floor after bath. The water stayed on the floor. But it was just a minor issue.

A great stay in the heart of Athens

rooms were clean / modern - nice comfy bed. Loved the roof top view of the acropolis. Chloe on reception was an absolute delight - always cheery and gave some great advice on where to eat.
