Schönes Hotel in Key West

Sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter, gute/praktische Lage, großer Parkplatz, schöner Pool- und Strandbereich

Frühstück komplett mit viel Wegwerfplastik, so was habe ich ewig nicht mehr gesehen, kein wirklicher Platz zum frühstücken

Beautiful hotel but awful, awful customer service

The hotel is beautiful and setting is nice. The rooms were well furnished and cozy. Does not make up for the cons though.

The customer service was abysmal from start to finish. We are not overly picky guests, but for the price we paid for 2 nights (over $2,000), you would expect far more. Our problems were numerous with the front desk staff, who were incredibly cold, unfriendly, and unhelpfully. (the only nice staff was an Indian lady who did try to help us). Basically, from the moment we walked in, no one said hello or welcomed us. They almost acted annoyed to even have to talk to you. We called in advance and specifically asked about the room layout, as we had children and a five month old baby with us. We were told our room would be two levels, but were given a single level (disability) access room instead. We asked to change our room the second night and they told us it was possible. However, after we packed up ALL our stuff and put it in the lobby, we were told later that the change wasn't possible and had to move back in. What a waste of time on our limited family vacation. Secondly, that same day, we came back to find our room not cleaned (there was no do not disturb sign out, etc.) and we called THREE times to have the room cleaned, but no one ever came. We also asked for a crib in our room, and had to request it again as it was not there. Lastly, another issue was the breakfast. For a hotel of this price and supposed luxury, you would expect more than a basic continental breakfast. But the real issue was the appalling reliance on single-use plastics. We were pretty shocked that all of the plates and utensils were all plastic and thrown away with each guest! We will be coming back to Key West but not staying at this hotel again. I am very disappointed as we had read the high reviews and really did enjoy the setting and the pool, but the customer service and the quality of services was just so lacking for the price we paid.

Definitiv eine Empfehlung wert! Mit besserem Frühstück 5 Sterne

Tolles Hotel. Sehr stylisch und modern. Tolle Zimmer mit modernen Bädern. Sehr schöne Pool-Area und leckeres Essen an der Strandbar.

Frühstück war unter allen Erwartungen. Auswahl minimal, kaum gesunde Optionen. Alles aus Plaste inklusive der Teller. Wasserdruck in der Dusche im Badezimmer sehr schwach. Nur Baden im Pool möglich, nicht im Meer.

Our family found the Capitana a great spot for our Key West weekend.

The staff was extremely nice and helpful. The hotel property was modern, clean and quiet. Visited Key West as a family and our daughter enjoyed the pool and outdoor games. We rented a golf cart for the long weekend and had no issues finding charging outlets.

Tried to play badminton and all the rackets were broken. We had to get to the Dry Tortugas ferry by 7 and breakfast wasn't open by then.

Une nuit à l’hôtel

La gentillesse du personnel. L’hôtel est joli.

Pour 700$ la nuit on s’attend au moins à un peignoir et des chaussons fournis… Le petit-déjeuner est trop basique. Ça dépanne mais on s’attend à mieux surtout quand on a l’habitude des hôtels européens… On a demandé un late check out gratuit jusqu’à midi, car la veille on a fait notre check in à 20h30. À 12h08 on toque à la porte. 2 minutes plus tard on nous appelle pour nous mettre à la porte.

I loved my stay in Keywest because I loved the The Capitana West.

I Loved the hotel, It is clean, It is light, it is beautiful. The staff are lovely. The pool's space is confortable, there is one little restaurant. The hotel is great.

Wonderful place to stay and will consider it again for future visits to the keys

Balcony and ocean view. Staff were fantastic especially servers down by pool.

Communication challenges with English. Also the beach was not a real beach and felt it’s false advertising as I would have liked to swim in the ocean there.

WORST FRONTDESK IN THE WORLD

Despite the aweful frontdesk the hotel's overall quality is pretty good.. My room (113) was too noisy due to the ventilation system of the Electric Room above mine. It felt like sleeping next to the chimney of a cruise-ship.

Both Hannah and Lee are the most unfriendly and the least helpful frontdesk employees I have ever come across among the thousands of hotels I stayed all around the World.. At one point Hannah threatened to "throw me out" when I told her she and Lee don't have the right personality to work in the HOSPITALITY sector not least in a tourist hotspot like Key West (which ironically proves my point). The customers of this hotel deserve better.

Cleaners letting them self into our room without warning.

The hotel has amazing amenities, food is actually very lovely, about a 7 min drive from Duval which was perfect as we had a car and they had easy parking at the hotel. The rooms are also very comfortable! We had a beautiful ocean facing balcony, was an extremely relaxing stay until check out.

This was for me and my fiancés anniversary we did have a lovely stay however will unfortunately not book again due extreme invasion of mine and my fiancé privacy from the staff for us to checkout. Which left me very shaken up & uncomfortable. Check out is at 11am so me and my fiancé were enjoying our morning on the balcony when we had a cleaner let her self in to our room at 10:37 without a knock or warning, we shouted that we were in the room and she left. We both felt extremely uneasy and very uncomfortable as she just barged in. Just as we were packing up yet again another cleaner barged into the room at 10:53 just less than 20 minutes after the last time, again no knock or warning. And as well as that the phones ringing asking when we were leaving? All before 11am! It left us both feeling extremely uneasy and creeped out who knows if they went into our room free willing while we were out and about. Not to mention we did have the privacy sign on the door handle. It made our checkout very stressful, we just wanted to get out of there. It sadly left a sour taste to the end of a wonderful anniversary getaway. Very unfortunate as the hotel is absolutely beautiful and we did have an amazing time up until till then. We travel a lot and love to try new hotels. I personally have never experienced this kind of unprofessionalism or ever had any a cleaner or any staff member ever just let themself into your room without a warning?

While the place is clean, customer service was not so great.

It was very clean

We asked for a blanket it took almost 1.5 hours and we had to call back. The smoke detector flashed lights all night. We where told it was “normal”

Sehr schönes, sauberes und modernes Hotel

Sehr schönes, sauberes und modernes Hotel. Zimmer sind maritim eingerichtet und groß. Es gibt auch eine kleine Küchenzeile mit Kühlschrank. Außerdem konnten wir und kostenlos am Wasser bedienen.

Beim Frühstück gibt es leider immer noch Einweg Plastikgeschirr.

Bon séjour dans l’ensemble

L’emplacement. Pas trop loin du centre

Dans la chambre familiale le 2eme lit est un canapé et malgré une réservation pour 4 le lit n’était pas fait à notre arrivée. Il a fallu demander . Dessus de lit très léger sur ce 2eme lit , pas de couverture dans la chambre , nous avons eu froid ! De plus , 35 euros nous ont été débités en plus de la chambre sans que nous soyons prévenus .

Bonito hotel pero con pocos servicios al huésped

El hotel tiene muchas posibilidades, las instalaciones estan bien cuidadas

No hay servicio de comida a partir de la hora que cierra el único bar, el de la piscina. Como llegamos a las 9 de la noche, no pudimos cenar nada en el hotel y no hay ninguna alternativa. Para el precio pagado por la habitación, creo que es el hotel que menos servicios al cliente presta de todos en los que me he alojado.

Belle piscine chambre vaste et bien equipee

L hotel n est pas situe dans le centre ville touristique mais le long d un grand axe roulant mais au calme. Il faut prendre une voiture ou un taxi pour visiter le centre touristique qui se situe a environ 10 minutes … les parkings sont payants donc attendez vous.a regler au minimum 15 dollars pour deux heures …

We loved it and would come back again

Everything is Fresh and new. Everything you expect of a Key West stay. The concierge, Lee who greeted us upon our arrival, was nothing less than amazing. She really made our experience extraordinaire.

The continental breakfast was very basic and not comparable with the other amenities the hotel had to offer. A bit of a shame.

Very disappointed.

The pool and the view from the room

The pool service, slow, we had to go get the pool attendant every time. We left early morning and came back at almost 5pm to a dirty room. The front desk told us that they had no idea why our room was not clean and if we wanted service we had to leave again since they do not offer turn down. Staff at front desk very rude, do not offered solutions, not proactive at all. We left the room to get the service but when we came back they just replaced the towels and fix one bed. The floor had sand and the trash cans were full. They did not even clean the terrace. Service is terrible.
