Location is great and staff is very accomodating and nice.
Overall the hotel is quiet which for me is the definition of luxury and class. No guest shouting around.Great
Breakfast price is simply way too high.

Enjoyed the stay. Aesthetically pleasing. Nice robes in the room. Well located. Attentive staff.
Coffee machine in the room a tad finicky.

The service, the gym, the food quality. I had to throw up all night, after their food. Also the gym was a desaster.

The hotel is lovely, clean an ideally situated for our needs. The staff were very welcoming and friendly.
It would have ben better if the sink could have been located within the shower room.

Great location. It’s steps from the Metro, cool shops, food, bookstore. Farmer’s Market on Sunday is a block away.
Room was spacious and very clean. Loved the Pembroke for breakfast. Room service was awesome, fries were delicious and hot.
Front desk had free water at check in.
A nice surprise was the turndown service.
I was totally spoiled by staff during my visit.
Slippers, sewing kit, high end soaps and toiletries.
I could hear the people next to me, but other than that, it was an amazing stay.
Low flush toilet was annoying.

Very friendly and attentive hotel staff. The room was nice and comfortable. There was a bar and restaurant downstairs and a Starbucks right across the street. The metro was also a short 2-3 minute walk, right off Dupont Circle.
The only thing we didn't like was how the bathroom was set up, the door to the toilet and shower that didn't allow for much privacy and it was impossible to turn the shower on without getting your arm soaked.

Didn't eat breakfast at hotel
Left personal property in room. Facility found item promised to forward to my home but never followed through with their promises.

Room was nice an clean and spacious. The bed was comfy. Hotel location is great, with bars, restaurants fairly close. Quiet neighborhood.
It's not family oriented, but more business oriented. Like they have a minibar in the room, but not a mini-fridge. You need to ask for a mini-fridge and and they will get one to your room. It's not a complain it's just an observation. They do strive to accommodate families as well.
All good. Even valet parking cost is acceptable!

Food and services in restaurant was the ONLY good memory of my stay
Teach staff customer service and clean occupied rooms earlier then wait for vacated rooms to be cleaned or at least inform incoming that this is the way you operate. Redesign rooms as bathrooms layout is not good. Provide ice to customers instead of deliver as a one hour wait is not good

Great hotel, friendly and professional staff, comfortable rooms and beds, sophisticated cool. Would gladly return or try out the other Doyle properties.

The property was clean; staff was friendly; Pembroke Restaurant staff were great. Fresh towels offered in the evening.
The neighborhood is lively and trendy with many restaurants nearby, but it got kind noisy late at night with sirens and traffic/horns honking.

Location was great!
A solid door on the bathroom

The bed was extremely confortable.
The bathroom is necessary to have a proper door to isolate from the bedroom, no privacy at all in certain moments. In the shower the glass door is useless or even problematic reducing the available space and make the water flow outside the shower. Better to be removed.
The TV in the room was not working properly (only 2 channels available), even after asking to the receptionist to fix it no action was taken or at least communicated a trial was done. In fact no difference after the supposed intervention was found and the TV was still able to receive the same 2 channel. For a supposed 5 star hotel certain details make the difference.

We loved that it was clean and the design. The staff was excellent and very helpful.
There were no ice machines on the floors you had to call the front desk. Also, the parking fees were very high.

Apparently the hotel had no booking for us but offered us a room which was not 'as booked,' so they quickly upgraded us to the correct room..
Staff were all happy and helpful during our stay.
Communication between agent and hotel.

Location, most staff were very nice and helpful. Housekeeping was excellent.
Staff in the bar were not that good, disappointing. We ate in the bar one night, the bar was not that busy. Took a while for the manager to seat us. Service was extremely slow. Food was good but took over an hour to get our food after ordering.

Updated, luxury hotel experience at a reasonable price for Washington DC. Close to the Metro, coffee shops, etc, Close to Kramer's Bookstore. Very helpful staff and concierge. Sweets in our room for St. Patrick's Day. Very clean. Plush robes. Bedside water every night at turndown. We will definitely stay here again when we return to DC.
We were on the 2nd floor near Dupont Circle. Traffic can be noisy. Next time we'll request a room on the interior or on a higher floor.

beautiful property
horrible experience with the staff. our breakfast room service was 2 hours late. when we finally got the food it was cold and the French toast was raw on the inside. the manager made things right and offered a free night as well as room the room service price from final checkout bill. I did appreciate his promptness to the issued we incurred.
