Recently renovated property - they are still in the process of renovations.
Our room was not ready at check in time.
There was a room available with a ocean view - we were prepared to pay the nominal extra fee to upgrade the room, however the staff would not accommodate us since we booked through Booking.com. They said we couldn't change the reservation, so we had to wait for the room we booked. They made no accommodation.
Beds were not comfortable. They are memory foam beds and they offered no support.

The ocean view a little questionable.. But the balcony was very nice enjoyed sitting on the chairs and relaxing.

Everything was new and updated. Beds were very comfortable. The AC took some time to figure out because the remote was tucked away.
I thought it was closer to Short Beach based on the map, but the view was amazing!!

the view from the room was wonderful and the location was great! The safe was quick to answer questions as well.
There was no dresser or closet so as a family of three we had to put our clothes on the bench right inside the door and above the frig. No microwave or iron (but a staff member brought my husband an iron when asked). Room was very dusty and the porch that gave you the wonderful view was dirt. said pool was heated but it was freezing. TV kept turning on randomly. Gave us a food credit of $50 for our issues, but we never ate there and was told to contact booking.com to get the $50 credit.

Modern rooms.
The cleaning crew was trying to finish up the rooms when I arrived. They were screaming back-and-forth to each other and I have not ever heard that many F words screamed in my life. A big reason I picked the room was for the view but the view out the window was not what was pictured on the website. Booking.com showed a room on an upper floor but I was given a lower floor room with vehicles parked and blocking my view of the ocean. Also no cable TV.

The staff was AMAZING and so welcoming!!! Our room was very clean. Pool was great and location of across the street from the ocean was good. Everything was very clean. Grounds were well maintained and rooms seem very new and updated.
Didn't realize there was no cable. We also booked an ocean view and our room was in the back....we could barely see the ocean from our balcony. We were also on the first floor....it was VERY noisy when people were upstairs. They were up until after 11 and awake at 5am banging around. Wish we had been on a higher floor.

Beautiful location, very friendly staff, lovely pool.
We stayed in the three bedroom bungalow with three young children. There was no table to sit at to eat. The living room furniture was uncomfortable. The floor seemed like it had never been washed.

I liked the pool area, the food and drinks and the staff was friendly. The bedding was great.
The bungalow that I rented was nothing like was was described or pictured. It was a poorly renovated cabin. No dining table of any size. The beds are new but the wooden bracken underneath my son's bed broke our first night. (they had it fixed by 12a the next day). The bungalow shouldn't be available to rent if the company cannot deliver on what was described.

Poolside drinks and food service nicer than some
bigger resorts I’ve stayed at. Nice location.
I loved the clean fresh look, I think some of the
finishings that were used are hard to keep clean and the contrast
between pristine new renovation and a little wear and
tear is stark. We are pretty tidy but tracked a lot of dirt and sand in.
Maybe more mats and a outdoor beach style shower/wash station would help

Location was breath taking. Over looking the ocean. Got to see the sunrise a couple days the room was modern clean and comfortable can’t wait to do it again!!

Clean rooms. If your looking for a beach town atmosphere (boardwalk/amusement/bars/night life) this is not the place. If you want just the ocean and relax it is perfect. They have just started so they are still getting organized.
small bathroom, no where to put your luggage, no where to hang anything - there is so much wall space not being utilized. the rooms are different sizes and have different things. Not even a table or chairs to sit at. No where to "hang out" if it is raining. Lots of deck space but again no tables or chairs. Not much within walking distance. Just 2 restaurants, no stores. No ice machines.

I had a problem with my reservation with booking.com. I emailed the hotel 3 times and never got an answer. I ended up not getting what I had paid for when I made my reservation online. We only had 2 tiny towels in the room and 1 roll of toilet paper. There was only flat sheets on the bed (no fitted sheet) and no duvet cover. Looks beautiful on a picture, but not super practical in real life. We had read on the motel rules that quiet time was between 9pm and 8am. We had instructed our kids to be quiet in the morning and respectful of that rule. But on our last night, there was some sort of cocktail event AT the motel. That resulted in people being super loud very late.

The location in proximity to the ocean.
King size bed had a futon type mattress , you could see the spot for a microwave (nd microwave in room) They over booked. We didn't get the room we booked. Kids running around at 4:30 a.m.

Was very impressed with my room view & the updated look of the room. Early check-in isn’t available but they will give anyone a parking pass to use the pool for the day while waiting. The pool area with on-site bar & food was awesome! We had an issue with our sliding door but was fixed within 24hours; the staff was super nice.
There was no microwave or coffee maker in the room. There were also no fitted sheets on the bed which was a little odd but like most things they said it was a manufacturer issue. There’s a small rug in the room I suggested they remove simply because it just trapped sand & dirt & made the floor dirtier.

I booked a 3 queen oceanfront suite through booking.com. Per York Beach Surf Club, I booked a 2 queen bungalow even though my confirmation read otherwise. Upon arrival. The bungalow was 2 full size beds and en extremely small space overall. Nothing was as advertised on the website except for updated decor. Room wasn’t ready until after 4. Refrigerator didn’t work. Didn’t receive towels, washcloths etc until the next day. I made at least 10 trips to the front desk asking about requests between Thursday and Friday. The same girl was at the front desk the 2nd day. She stated she would bring our items herself. When we returned to the bungalow, everything was at out door except the washcloths. The refrigerator started working after resetting it several times. I was told we were top priority first thing in the morning for the fridge. No one came. Ugh!

The food, drinks, facilities, pool and service were excellent. I loved the staff and felt that they tried their best with. the issues that surfaced. Felicia was amazing.
Unfortunately this was my bday weekend and I booked a premier ocean view but ended up in a parking lot view. for the first evening and then. had to move the next day/ spend my whole first day going to the management and front desk regarding the issue. it didn't sit well and started us. off on a stressful note. Later check-in/ needed more staff. Beds were too squishy for me.

No coffee machine in the room and lack of storage space in the room
The two pools are superb but too much people and the water is not well controlled. We didn’t want to bathe.
