The rooms were spacious and big. Location is in a safe area

The kitchen was dirty The bed sheets were stained It was overall dirty you need to clean it yourself.

عندما يكون تعامل الطاقم سيء يكون الفندق سيء للاسف اسوأ فندق في التعامل لا استقبال كويس تم الانتظار في الاستقبال دخلتو 3 ساعات من وقت الوصول رغم ابلاغي لهم بوقت الوصول والغرفة ليست جيدة لا اطلالة كويسة ولا موقع الغرفة رغم طلبي اطلالة في دور علوي وتم التأكيد من الفندق عليها وعند التواصل مع قسم الحجوزات في الفندق على الرقم المسجل في بوكينق عند كل اتصال بعد ابلاغهم بالمشكلة يتم تحويلي للانتظار واغلاق الخط دون حل او رد وتم ارسال رسالة عبر بوكينق بالمشكلة ولم يتم الرد أيضاً .. لن يتم النزول مرة أخرى في هذا الفندق

Aussies rate hotel zamalek

Good service, security is good as hotel is near some embessy,s. Buffet selection very good. Staff friendly.

Drums at night from the river were a little annoying, but a set of ear plugs fixed this.

Most accommodating hotel staff ever

The hotel exceeded my expectations. The staff was extremely helpful and polite. One of the nicest hotel staff’s I’ve ever encountered. They go above and beyond to make sure you have a pleasant stay. The housekeeper, the breakfast staff, the front desk at check in and manager were all amazing.

The shower was small and challenging working the hot water.

Fantastic staff and a beautiful hotel in a great location.

Staff was very gracious and happy to help with anything. They really went above and beyond to accomodate any request. The room was amazing, for western standards maybe a bit dated, but for Egyptian standards very nice and had everything we wanted. Great view, lots of balcony space. We had a great view of the Nile and could see the Pyramids on clear days. The breakfast we included was great everyday, plenty for anyone to get what they wanted. We had an early check out and the staff even got us breakfast bags to bring along to the airport. We used the restaurant once for dinner, which was buffet style and also very good. The location of the hotel is great, your right in the middle of Zamalek, a great district in Cairo. Shops, restaurants and supermarkets are very close and many to chose from. Also very easy to get Ubers from this location, I do recommend getting in and out of the Ubers outside the gate, since the security checks every driver and they have a snifferdog walk around the cars. It takes a while for them to get in and out. The hotel has great security in that regard and the entrance is behind a closed gate. Check in and check out went very fast and smooth and even with our very early arrival we were able to get to our room very fast. Bags are brought up to your room and picked up when you leave. The cleaning staff is very professional and thorough and extra's of anything are easily arranged through them or management. Within the hotel no tips are expected as far as I was aware.

The pool is only accesible through the breakfast/dining area and by walking through the lobby. There are places to change at the pool, but you cant really walk from your room to the pool in your swimming attire. Some things can be quite pricey, we asked for transport from the airport but through the hotel it would have cost over 25x the amount compared through the booking.com services, so I wouldn't recommend using the hotels service in that instance.

Really enjoyed my stay here, breakfast was lovely and staff also very nice. Comfortable and clean.

Staff very friendly and professional, Rania in particular was very nice, friendly and helpful. You feel well looked after here and the area is quiet in the chaos of Cairo (in a good way)! Located where the international embassies are so lots of police/security around and decent international restaurants as well as local.

Balcony was a little small, couldn’t sit outside.

Comfortable bed, beautiful view of Nile River, great breakfast in lovely setting.

Beautiful view of the Nile River. Comfortable bed. Shower over bath not good in our room 609 as couldn't put feet flat on the bath bottom. It bludged up in the middle. Spa area great. Had excellent steam room. Swimming pool good but closed at 5pm so only had short swim after our arrival.

Ignored at dinner as all the staff watching the soccer match. Had to go and ask for desert menu and than for check.

The hotel is very good

The stuff was very kind and location is amazing!

They told me that they upgraded my reservation to full river view ( it was side river view ) for free! But that was not true, and I got side river view ( room 409).

Ottimo soggiorno

Il quartiere Zamalek e' ideale per un soggiorno al Cairo, vista meravigliosa sul Nilo. Ottima colazione in un bellissimo cntesto. Molto gentili e professionali gli addetti al ricevimento e molto attenta Dina del Guest Relation. Molto piacevole al pomeriggio andare in zona piscina per sedersi a bere qualcosa o a fare uno snack, sempre con vista sul Nilo.

Essendo una famiglia di 4 persone e' un peccato che al di fuori delle suite non ci siano camera comunicanti o con la possibilita' di letto aggiunto per arrivare ad ospitare 4 persone. Questo significa che per avere la certezza di essere nella medesima sistemazione l'unica possibilita' sono le camere lusso (dei veri e propri appartamenti) ed ovviamente il prezzo sale notevolmente.

Room without a view

Good location on the posh island Zamalek, good breakfast, friendly staff after I made a fall in the lobby.

Facilities are a little dated and in need of a lift up. Noisy from the hallways. Standard rooms on the second floor with city “views” are definitely not worth USD 250.00 / night. Housekeeping eventually came at 4 pm after several requests.

Fint ophold, god price/value, opvarmet pool

Belligenheden af hotellet var rigtig fin. 8-10 min til 26th July, hvor der er masser af restauranter. Virkelig god kaffebar på den anden side af gaden. Vi havde fin stor balkon ud til Nilen. Poolen var godt opvarmet med niludsigt. Vi fik roomservice med morgenmad, hvilket fungerede fint. Priserne for room service var meget rimelige - sammenlignelige med en restaurant på gaden. Suiten var en slags lejlighed med køkken og vaskemaskine. Den havde stor stue og store værelser. Gode senge, dyner og puder.

Suiten var bestemt ikke ny og manglede dekoration og en opgradering. Rengøring var nogenlunde selvom hjørnerne nok skulle have en tur. Man skulle selv kontakte room service for at få rengjort værelset, hvilket var lidt underligt. Ville være rart, hvis de havde sagt det ved checkin.

Non-Hilton standards

Location and reception staff.

It is really required a renovation - old furniture, equipment and dirty ceiling. The AC is noisy. Restaurant service is quite slow and you have to ask for the change.

Saftey is Zero , Not recommended for families with children.

I liked nothing. Very bad experience. The worst ever in my life

The rooms are not safe for families with children. A glass door broke off and fell down on my son . He ends up with 20 stitch. Luckily was not deep and the nerves were not affected . Ruined our holiday. Everything is covered by glass , coffee table, night stands, dining table, TV stand . Am so disappointed with the hotel , saftey is Zero . The glass door was barely hanging there and no one bothered to fix it . Definitely not coming back and I don't recommend it for families.

Exceptional

We wound up in a smoking room on a smoking floor. When we realized this we were kindly moved to a nonsmoking floor and our room was upgraded to a suite which was huge and comfortable with fantastic Nile views (even the smaller smoking room had amazing view of the Nile.). Mr Mohammed and Mr Hamza at reception were very helpful. Zamalek was great- beautiful architecture, walkable , many restaurants and ice cream shops open late.

It would be great if you could designate a smoking or nonsmoking room when reserving on booking.com
