Fantastische Auszeit mitten in der Natur

Ein wunderschönes Hotel in fantastischer Lage, umgeben von Giraffen, Zebras, Kudus,… Bei der Ankunft wurden wir von den Giraffen „begrüßt“, sehr beeindruckend :-) Das Gelände ist riesengroß und man hat einen grandiosen Ausblick, sowohl in die Berge, als auch auf das Meer. Die Anfahrt erfolgt über eine Gravelroad, was man in Südafrika aber mittlerweile kennt ;-) Die Zimmer sind sehr groß mit allem ausgestattet (Bademäntel,…) und die Betten sehr bequem. Wir hatten abends das Dinner dazugebucht. Das Essen war sehr lecker (Menüauswahl) und auch das Frühstück (das im Preis inklusive war), war extrem lecker. Der Pool mit Blick auf die Berge war ein weiteres Highlight. Das Personal war durchgängig zuvorkommend und freundlich, ein großes Lob:-) Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder hier übernachten, wenn möglich länger als eine Nacht, dann kann man richtig entspannen (und vielleicht noch eine Safari im hoteleigenen Park machen).

Ein Traum😍

Ein Traum! Vorneweg buchen Sie unbedingt zwei oder drei Nächte, wir waren leider nur eine Nacht hier. Wir kamen an und fuhren erstmal mit Zet, ein hervorragender Guide, der wirklich sehr viel von den Tieren und Vögeln versteht, raus. Er war unglaublich nett und hat uns viel erklärt und gezeigt! Danke an Zet! Es gibt zahlreiche Giraffen, Zebras, Kudus, Impalas, Blessböcke, Affen, Ameisenbären und und und… unglaublich und das alles in einem riesigen Gebiet um das Hotel herum😍 das Zimmer ist sehr schön, sehr bequeme Betten und wir konnten auf das Meer und auf ein Wasserloch blicken. Frühmorgens haben wir vom Hotelzimmer im aufziehenden Nebel Impalas und andere Tiere gesehen. Das Essen war ebenfalls hervorragend und der Service sehr zuvorkommend! Ich komme aus dem Schwärmen gar nicht mehr raus 😊

The alcohol that they put in the fridge , they should try to put descent alcohol, what a ladies drink if it’s a ladies room.

Relaxing in a beautiful setting

A beautiful place, so nicely decorated! We had amazing views from our room and enjoyed seeing the animals who came to the drinking hole. The atmosphere is amazing. Just relax and feel how you become one with nature :) The dinner was wonderful! And it was nice to meet and chat with the chef.

Unfortunately, I could feel the owner no longer living in the place. First, we had high expectations from the SPA. I booked 3 treatments in advance and was looking forward to it. The reservation was approved by email. Two of the treatments were meant to be simultaneously for me and for my husband. We arrived on time, but it appeared that there is only one person in the spa (she is also the SPA manger, conduct all treatments..and if needed she also serve drinks at the bar). She asked us to take the treatment one after the other, then she said that they are actually closing at 4pm- so there is no time for that.. I ended up doing only one treatment- that was not professional at all (not to mention that the lady tended to disappear occasionally- to text on her phone? to take oil from the other side of the room? who knows... In addition, there were very small, sometimes hard to notice things that didn't match the high-end feeling in the property, mostly regarding the service (forgot to put the milk in the room, no one at the reception etc). So- the bottom line- defiantly go there, but for now- avoid the spa

Tranquility

I loved everything, the staff they did their utmost best. The Chefs outdid themselves. From the scrumptious breakfast to dinner. They know how to host their visitors, all of them have a great camera skills. If you want tranquility, peace, beautiful sunsets by the pool, I recommend this one. Beautiful views all around, the scenery. Their game drive so educational. Saw lots of animals.

Not bad with only few disappointments.

We came to celebrate our anniversary and our 1st day was the best thank you to everyone who made sure that we create beautiful memories. The breakfast was awesome except one had to wait for almost an hour to be served. Location was perfect but due to weather we couldn't go for drive game as planned...

Everything can be perfect if they can only change their portion size of meals they are very small for the money we paying for and variety to choose from not to feel forced what they prepared as you don't maybe have a choice, dinner time can be changed to earlier instead of 19:00 as on the last day we had to wait for almost 2hours to be served and that was round about 21h00 some people ended giving up. Having to ask for coffee to be put in our rooms and linen to be changed as we stayed 3 days. The cleaning lady who just did the bed and left dirty towels on the floor. Thanks to Vivian who was helpful to refresh our room.

A hidden gem in need of better maintenance

This hotel has the most spectacular settings. The views are panoramic- with the ocean on one side and green hills around. There’s wild life- we spotted antilopes and a family of giraffes from the window of our suite. The building is well designed, rooms are very spacious and have good facilities. The beds were very comfortable and the place was extremely calm. The staff was really friendly and helpful. The atmosphere in the evening was made very cozy with the cracking fire in the fireplace.

This place would have been perfect, if it was better maintained. Some furniture was broken and dangerous to use- the chair in our suite had a broken leg and collapsed when my husband sat on it. The floors and the surfaces like door handles, furniture, table games were not very clean. The service in the restaurant was very friendly but extremely slow and the food was nicely presented but didn’t taste great. Our suite had an open plan bathroom which was uncomfortable because it lacked privacy.

Firstly waited an hour to be booked in. Definately not value for money at that price. Bar fridge not even incl in price. Spa very lovely but could offer gel nail option as pedicure and manicure treatment expensive for not even that included.

Amazing

I liked the fact that the staff is so friendly and accommodative. Always going the extra-mile to make you feel at home. Marcell, Megan and Kay were amazing. They catered to each and every need of us. Beautiful personalities and so helpful. Room was beautiful and food was good.

Small delays and shortages in the kitchen but I believe they can work on that.
