The building was very nicely designed with cool maghrebi architecture. It was a great location in the middle of the old Medina and nice breakfast, the eggs were sooo tasty! the staff, Adem n Nasser were good hosts.

it’s not a modern setup so if anyone is too picky it might not be as you like. But if you want a traditional Moroccan Riad style experience this is the spot for it.

Disappointing

Very spacious room. good matras. easy to find

Could not lock window(like an entrance) in the room. Very noisy innkeepers on the other side of the door until late at night. Waited until 10:15 never saw breakfast or anyone.

If you come to Meknès, you should go to Riad Yanis!

We really enjoyed our stay at Rias Yanis! It's a magnificent place with a lot of beautiful architecture. We were welcomed by the coolest two young fellas - both really lovely and helpful. Thank you so so much. Really worth a visit!

not value for te money, good position but very smelly and dirty

I can't recomended to anybody. please help me to resloved this matter. Iam not happy at alld

there is no breakfast . Only one day basic food then stop and they said no one can make the breakfast. The kitchen is full of bugs and rubish . Photos attached

The property is rubbish even not met the health and safety messures. Never see cleaner there. the rain ran from the roof to the bed. I changed the room but the other room smell very bad because the property like the camp of cats . I decided to leave from the first day and they refuse to pay back my money. They said we are wrote to booking . Com and waiting for respone and i left the property after i been sick . I spent only 4days and they said will Be the rest of my money after we get the response from booking. Com. and till now nothing received from them

The worst of stays in my one-year travel worlwide.

I don't like anything it was the worst of my experience during my one-year travel around the world.

When I've come to the place, nobody didn't open the door. I was calling a lot of times to the host to phone in Booking and also to the phone number on the wall, but they didn't reply to my SMSes and calls at all. Finally, after 1 hour waiting someone from crowd (probably their friend) has taken me to this guest house. I've 2 unpleasure young guys. They don't know how to lead this kind of business. They don't respect their customer at all. They don't speak in French and English, even can't read anything in Arabic from a translator... Inside the room wasn't towel and even toilet paper... it just wasn't prepared for my to come. In the room, I've found even things of last resident. Wifi wasn't available despite they offer it on Booking. But ok it was acceptable for this price which is really low. But I can't accept that they were organizing a huge and loud party during my stay here for entire night. They were having a fun with women and other guys and didn't respect me at all. I couldn't sit in peace, about sleep I couldn't even think.... At 2:00 I've diced to come back to my apartment in Mohamedia which is about 3 hours away. It was a good choice. I attach pictures from this to prove that... Never go here, that's a waste of money and really bad experience for your ears.

+ Room is huge. you feel like you were sleeping in a palace. + Location is perfect to find and to get around

Avoid this place !!! There're better Places in Meknès than this one !! - NO WiFi !!! why do you scam people??!!! - NOISE: the boys were talking and on the phone most time of the night, so no really comfortable sleep when there's always noise in front of your room. - BREAKFAST: a tea and 3 small slices of bread + jam, that's it. Disappointing compared to what you will get with REAL Moroccan dishes everywhere else. - could be cleaner

The cigarette smell. Alcohol smell. Rooms unavailable at 12. Poor quality breakfast.

Great location. Great host. Cheap taxi transportation service in the city. 10 Moroccan Dirham will take you to most places in the city. The Taxi drivers are honest. A great credit to their city. The food in Mekness is great and inexpensive.

There is no WiFi connection.

A potentially intriguing and fascinating riad; the owners need a short, shart reality check!

Location was quite good.

We arrived at midday and it took a lot to wake the "24 hour desk". From the riad's advert on booking.com: 1 Free WIFI - there was no WIFI 2 Restaurant and bar - neither 3 Breakfast included - no it wasn't. We persuaded them eventually to provide breakfast = 1 glass of orange, half a cup of mint tea, 1 piece thin bread and 1 of thick bread, 1 cheese triangle each. On arrival there were no towels, toilet paper, soap. The a/c control was not available. The room had not been cleaned since the last occupant. If they have been hit by COVID (as have every other guesthouse/hotel) they should amend their details accordingly. We had looked forward to a great stay, having read their details on booking.com; they ruined it for us.

Nothing to like.

SCAMMERS! Avoid at all cost!!! I paid online via booking and even received a confirmation message from the Riad and when we got there someone unpleasant and rude opened the door saying that they don't book through booking.com anymore and that if we want to stay we have to pay again a higher price than the price I paid with booking. Do yourself a good and DON'T BOOK with them!

AMAZING room, breakfast and location.

If I need to say something I didn't like, it would be that the room is soooooo big that is impossible to heat and then it's a little bit cold.
