Nice self catering accommodation at a great price in Hermanus. We were comfortable here and also enjoyed all that the area has to offer. Plus, a super friendly host who helped our with all our special requests ;-)

We had a big space with big kitchen for ourselves. Very good point.

The room was a bit cold: no heater, and the mattress was a bit uncomfortable.

The roofing has a problem of leaking water when it's raining

It was literally a last-minute booking due to an event moving, and this location proved perfect, just a few kays down the road from the new venue, so extremely convenient. We were just so relieved to get the booking at such short notice, and everything was adequate for our needs for the one night.

Only minor complaint was the door lock sticking, which meant we had to really jiggle the door to get it unlocked from the inside. The problem with that was that we were leaving for the event at 5am, so we woke the folks in the room next door with all the door-jiggling, and had to phone the owner, Jackie, for advice. We just felt bad for waking others at 5am.

We loved the quiteness..The place was big enough and had all the essentials that was needed.

Everyting was perfect

Coffee, tea, rusks supplied. Basic self catering equipment: fridge, kettle toaster, etc all in order. :)

Bedside tables were dusty. Talking, phone calls by neighbours until late at night, not excessive partying, but kept us awake. Bedding: a top sheet in hot summer weather would be great.
