Best place to stay near Abisko National Park.

A wonderful little 2-bedroom house detached from the owners' main house in the same lot. The place has everything you need (e.g., kitchen utensils, microwave, oven, toaster, refrigerator, dish washer) except washer/drier; Make sure to bring your own shower supplies; Mattresses are very firm and you have to sleep in the middle to prevent sliding to the sides; Bedsheets/towels will cost 15 Euros per set (30 Euros for 2 people), which can be paid by cash or PayPal; The nearest grocery store is 5 miles away. Rental cars are a must when staying here to explore this area.

Location & well designed Bedrooms - 2nd would have been better if larger ! Good toilet . Large living area & kitchen with facilities.

Ginger house in the magical Abisko mountains

We love the area, the house, everything. One of the best places we stayed during our trip. The house have everything you can need, I loved the kitchen in order to cook a homely meal. Th3 house had oven, toaster, coffe press... love it.

to leave it so early, so i could not enjoy it more time. Love everything.

One the best places we every stayed at!

Everything! We loved staying at Mickes o Rita’s place. They stuga is fully equipped and nicely designed. The hosts are superfriendly and even bought us something from the supermarket as Björkliden is a small place only with a small grocery store inside the hotel. Thank you very much for everything. We hope to return some day!

Was a lovely rental, much better than the photos. The view of the sunrise was magnificent. wonderful host.

Great stay in a scenic area.

Nice little cabin located on the property of the hosts. Hosts were very kind and didn't bother us at all after check-in. The cabin looked like it was recently renovated. Heating was great (heated floors in bathroom) and all electric (seems like that's a trend in Scandinavia, awesome!). Furthermore all modern facilities are available, even down to shoe-driers at the main door. Linen rental included, this stay is a fairly good price to quality ratio.

Wonderful mountain cabin

I loved everything! The owners are very friendly and helpful. The house is beautifully renovated, cozy and super clean. It is really comfortable and equipped with everything you need and more. Plenty of light in all rooms and the views over the lake and Lapporten are fantastic. By far the best house I’ve stayed in!

Everything was perfect. I wish I had stayed there longer. Be aware that there’s no supermarket in the vicinity, you should take all you need for your stay with you, and specially if you get there by public transport.

Awesome cottage, perfect place for the nature lover!

Modern interior, super clean and absolutely well equipped small house with comfort beds. Peaceful location, stunning view towards the Lapporten and the adjacent lake. Perfect place for a nature lover, lots of nature activities available nearby.

Well, there's nothing to complain, really. Just a pity we could stay only one night!

Beautiful stuga close to Abisko

Wonderful stuga: beautiful (brand new) interior with all amenities, amazing view from the window on Tornetrask lake and Lapporten. The owners were most kind to make our stay unforgettable !

We got early check-in which is very nice if the weather outside is -20 degrees. The apartment was very beautiful and clean. We got view of the Gate to Lapland :). The owner was so nice and friendly. Definitely come back again.

Charming place to stay and enjoy nature!

Everything was exceptional! The location is perfect - a house with a charming view from the bedroom to the mountains and sunrise from the kitchen. Everything was super clean, lots of cutleries and everything you may need for cooking; cozy place with enough space, comfortable bed, good WiFi. There're no shops around, the nearest is in Abisko. Once we arrived we didn't have anything to eat, but Micke was so kind to take us with him to the grocery shop in an hour. Thank you!

We actually enjoyed our stay so much that there's nothing we didn't like. Just some notes: buy food/drinks in advance unless you have a car. Towels and bed linen should be payed separately though it's mentioned in the description.

It's a cozy, two bedroom house and is quite spacious. The house was super clean with all the amenities that one can think of. Both Micke and Rita are super sweet and friendly. Property is at a brilliant location with amazing views!

Beautiful and spacious home, great location. Plenty of hiking trails only a few steps away, and easy access to places to catch the Aurora. :) Well-appointed place, with plenty of cooking implements and coffee makers, and plenty of outlets.

Great stay!

Michael and Rita where great hosts and responded very quickly, even for our request for checking in earlier. Everything was well equipped and clean. The location is fantastic for hikes around Björkliden, Abisko national park and Trollsjörn (entry points are only few minutes away by car). We really recommend this place and would book it again next time.

The place was very nice and well equipped. Amazing view from windows and many interesting places to see nearby. The owners were friendly and helpfull. The house is after renovation, clean and cozy. Very resonable price for such an accomodation.
