The apartment was excellent, large rooms, the kitchen was well equipped for cooking at home. The pool area was excellent with sun beds, umbrellas and very quiet.

The location was very good but when it rained there was a very large and very deep puddle that we either had to walk through or take a detour to miss it. Also there are at least 20 stray dogs around which sometimes would run at us barking and growling which was quite frightening when we were on our way back after an evening out. During our stay I contacted the people on at least 3 occasions that we had to leave a day earlier than we had planned and stated a time that a taxi would be picking us up. We had to pay for electricity that we had used which was fine but we also paid 5,000bt deposit which we should have received before we left but no one turned up and we had to leave!!! I have since been asked to give them my bank details to receive my deposit but I am very reluctant to do that.

The pool was well maintained.. The German couple who live near by were very helpful in many ways.

No staff on hand to welcome or check out.. The lane leading to the apartment was flooded with no drainage so wellies a must an touch also needed as very isolated an definitely not advisable to walk alone after dark.

The apartment was much bigger than we expected, very clean and comfortable and had two ensuite bathrooms and a toilet down stairs. The beds were huge and very comfortable. The wardrobes had lots of hangers for clothes and one of the bedrooms had a walk in wardrobe. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything you could possibly need. The pool was lovely to cool down in after a hot day. A peaceful and quiet location and close to everything. Excellent location to the Fisherman's Village just 10 minutes walk away. Local master bakery with fresh baked bread and pastries daily and also serve breakfast and takeaways, local fresh vegetables and fruits in the daily market and two small supermarkets only a 5 minute walk away. We fully enjoyed our stay at Pool Residence and the handyness of the location, we hope to return again next year. It was our fourth holiday in Thailand and the most relaxing place we have stayed in.

Huge spacious apartments, three toilets and smooth staircase to the second floor. Very nice pool. Own parking space for each apartment.

The air conditioner in our living room was old and weak. There are many devices that do not work: Xbox, TV box and a toaster. The toaster brought a new one, but the two old ones did not pick up.
