I stayed in Sharps a few years ago and have recomended it to lots of people. Unfortunately the Owner died and the place has gone down since
The room needed repainting or an industrial clean, the shower had water issues, or ran to hot or too cold, the free internet was so bad I couldn't even make a WhatApp call, the TV used to have a choice of hundreds of channels, now it's just the free local channels, there was no soap or shampoo in the room.
On the bright side the Location is fantastic, it comes with a free breakfast, it's cheap

Friendly, helpful staff. Especially Bella, Irene, and the breakfast ladies. Clean. Usually quiet. Big desk for working. Very good value for room size. My second visit in 1 year.
Noise on Saturday night from the nearby dance/music place went on until 2:00 am. This is unacceptable. The night porter went to talk to them at 12:30 pm. Finally music stopped at 2:00 am. As much as I love Sharp Guest House including Bella and Irene, I may have to make other sleeping arrangements. Especially for Saturday night.

Location was close to the Ministries where I had appointment. Staff was helpful.
The wifi service was highly intermittent, despite efforts of the staff to remedy it. The room itself was fine, but the hallway not so nice...and I saw a cockroach in the hallway...which spoiled my impression somewhat. Finally, it seems that my reservation did not appear on their computer, but I still got a room.

Great location, tucked away at the top of Oxford Street. Excellent value for money. Room simple but spotlessly clean. Staff friendly & very helpful.
Reception area not too appealing but pleasantly surprised with the room. Not much natural light in the room but didn’t concern us.

At the back of a call centre, very expensive for what it is, in a very noisy party street (up to 3 in the morning). The price through booking is around 3 times what they charge as a walk-in. There are much better places in the neighborhood. Staff were really kind though!

The guest house was OK and they even have a warm shower....
...but it's certainly nothing to write home about. (It's an average place, no more, no less).

Very friendly. Good location, nice room and good Internet.
Two problems:
1. They hadn't been cleaned the bathroom from its prior occupant.
2. We requested breakfast for 7am and only received it at 7.50am.

Thanks this is a fantastic location.
The only downside is the exuberant sounds outside on the pavement doing their beer sale . One got the gist after two nights so stayed out late to avoid this distraction. lovely staff too!
The local unscheduled noise level after midnight !

great location
serviceable but overpriced for what you get, shouldn’t be more than $20. Tiny closet of a room that smelled like vomit. When I told the staff they did spray the room and place air fresheners. Don’t count on breakfast, I couldn’t find anyone who knew anything about it until 9am as I was leaving someone came to the door to take my breakfast order.

Very loudness place, music played to 2.30am, every 2..3mins started engine, I couldn't sleep. Reception is part of Internet cafe and copy center, no privacy.

Comfy beds, good location- can walk to nearby bars (purple pub etc).

So much noise, even on a week night. It went on until around 4 so was very hard to sleep.

I have stayed at Sharp Guest house before and it provides the same high quality. It was totally great being welcomed and greeted so kindly. It makes me feel like I am home.

Friendly and helpful personel. Fine and clean room.
2 of 3 nights we were disturbed all night by loud music until the morning. Even without music there was a lot of disturbing noice of some machine (a pump? airconditioning?)
The lobby of the hotel is an internet café. When I had a question at the reception desk all the clients of the internet café listened in. I would expect some more privacy as a hotel guest.

Everything! They agreed and checked me in at 10:00am even though their check-in time is 1:00 pm. The staff was nice and the place was very clean
