Thought to be the second oldest home in Burrawang originally built in 1861, this fully insulated and renovated heritage listed romantic cottage is perfect for 1-2 couples and contains every modern accoutrement in a cosy old world ambience.
A slow combustion woodfire warms the house in winter and there is also R/C/ air con. Firewood is supplied.
Two double bedrooms contain a queen size bed and 2 large single beds (king single beds which can be joined on request) furnished with top quality linen and electric blankets for winter.
The kitchen is fully equipped with S/S Gas stove /electric oven, microwave, dishwasher and Nespresso coffee machine and pods.
Breakfast provisions are supplied and include cereals, milk, bread, butter, eggs and spreads.
There are two separate sitting rooms, one with bi-fold doors opening to a rear north facing timber deck. The brand new bathroom has a deep claw foot bath and large frameless shower with heated towel rack.

LOCAL ATTRACTIONS include wineries, the spectacular Illawarra Fly Treetop walk, Fitzroy Falls with lookouts and bush walks and Belmore Falls with picturesque swimming holes for hot days.
Bowral with its many specialty food shops and cafes, cinema, farmers market, antique shops, galleries and excellent boutiques is just a pleasant 15-20 minute drive away.
The Southern Highlands wineries produce excellent cool climate whites and reds, with most of them offering interesting tasting plates if you're feeling peckish.
The country town of Robertson, renowned for its fertile potato farms, is perched at the top of the escarpment 5klms east of Burrawang. Take a trip down to the coast via the picturesque Macquarie Pass with its stunning rainforest and treeferns and even a waterfall or two by the side of the road.
For the more energetic visitors there are several beautiful golf courses all within a half hour drive and of course the fantastic Bradman Museum and cricket pitch in Bowral. Springtime is the season for the Tulip Festival, with many spectacular gardens open for inspection. There are so many things to see and do whatever the weather in the Highlands.
