Situated in Cockburn Town, this lovely entire house for $487 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. Come stay on a tropical beach in a spacious 3 bedroom, only a short walk from Cockburn Town on the lovely peaceful island of Grand Turk. Breathtaking views, a wonderful beach, superb swimming, diving and snorkeling are right outside your front door. Enjoy beautiful sunsets from your deck. The combination of fun, informal restaurants, expert dive shops, friendly locals, and a relaxed pace of living makes a vacation in Grand Turk uniquely appealing. A trip to Grand Turk transports you back to the 'Old Caribbean,' before big hotels, high rises and crowds of tourists. This house is right on the water, so enjoy dazzling water views all day, and relax with a drink or dinner while watching beautiful sunsets. The beach has small tidal pools, shade and (usually) gentle waves. No need to worry about 'reserving a beach chair' on Grand Turk. Instead, miles of virtually empty beaches on the western shore offer a tranquility that is hard to find in the modern world. This house is part of Island Passage, which has this three bedroom, a cottage (listing number 932470), and a one bedroom unit which is not available for rental. The spacious house has an open plan with a large living/dining room and a spacious kitchen which also has a peninsula to perch at. Ceiling fans and air conditioning in every room help you keep your cool. There is a large master bedroom, and two smaller bedrooms, both with queen beds. There is a large deck with a fabulous view down the beach, and shaded area with chairs and a table for yet another dining area. One of our repeat guests said in a review, "If you’re looking for a beautiful and very well equipped kitchen, a large dining area with comfortable chairs, 2 fabulous large sitting areas with comfortable couches, good beds in rooms with their own AC I’m each room, and lots of homey decor that makes this feel like a home, than this place is for you." The fenced in yard protects the landscaping from wandering horses and cows. It is literally a few steps through your gate to the shade of the Casuarina trees on the beach. You can beachcomb and snorkel in front of the house, get picked up by a dive boat for a fantastic experience on Grand Turk's Wall, stroll into town (150 yards away) to wander down Duke Street, or rent a bike or car or hire a taxi to go a little further afield. Read more

Don't judge a book by its cover!
When we first pulled up to the house, we were concerned by the worn and weathered look of the outside of the house but….don‘t judge a book by its cover!! We couldn’t have been happier with our stay at this house! Although the pictures on the site are a bit outdated, it was perfect. Perfect location to “town”, most of the restaurants, and dive shops. We needed a place to stay for 3 adults and a 5 year old. There was plenty of room for all of us and the master bedroom and bathroom had a privacy door that separated us from the living area. Everything was neat, clean and plenty of supplies throughout the house including towels, soaps, etc. Only 3 things about the house that we’d have liked which is a dresser in the little bedroom my son used (I didn’t have anywhere to keep his clothes for the duration of our stay), a phone, and a safe. Although I’m sure this island is really safe, we were traveling with a lot of cash and had nowhere to keep it. And without a phone, it was difficult planning things to do around the island. Luckily, everyone is so incredibly nice, many people offered to make calls for us or let us use their phones! Also, don't expect the property manager to check in on you during your stay which is good for the most part that she isn't intruding but there were times we could have used some recommendations for local activities. There’s a dirt road leading from the main street, Duke Street, to the house. It is a very, very short walk to the Osprey Hotel (the "fine" dining on the island where we ate breakfast and dinner a lot). Grand Turk Dive shop is directly across the street from the Osprey and offers bike rentals (but be prepared to pay an outrageous deposit per day per bike!!!!). Be sure to eat at the Secret Garden, too which is just down from Grand Turk diving…they have the best prices, the best food and the best people working there. We weren’t thrilled with The Sandbar restaurant but if you eat there check your receipt before you pay!! There are a lot of other really good local places to eat away from Duke Street… Barbie’s, the Poop Deck, Jack’s Shack. Oh and be mindful of the time as many of the restaurants stop serving at certain times of the day…they are definitely on their own schedules and not for us tourists. With the house right on the beach, we could go for long walks down beautiful white sand beaches with hardly another person around. It was great! Loved the house and the location and Grand Turk!  Read more

Island perfection!!
When I first found this spot on VRBO there hadn’t been any reviews for a long time so I was curious why. The owner assured me they were repaired from hurricane damage and have had recent people stay. So I booked it. Upon our arrival we were greeted by a taxi that she had set up for us. Once we got to the house Anita welcomed us and gave us the tour. The house is in very good shape and very well decorated. It feels like an island home. Plenty of things in the kitchen to cook breakfast lunch and dinner. This is on the “busy” side of the island. I say that because it’s the best location for someone visiting. All the restaurants and bars are literally down one street, the street you’re on. But you’re on the end so it’s nice and quite still. But you can walk to any of them within 3-15 mins. I suggest getting a golf cart and keeping it for the trip. It made getting around so easy and fun! Ask Anita for Omar’s number. Yes they are legal to drive anywhere on the island. One thing we realized once we got there is the island is pretty expensive. You’re going to pay $10-$13 per drink. And around $20- $25 per meal per person. Just the way it is. The grocery store is 5 mins away but don’t expect a full grocery store. Bare minimums pretty much. Another thing is, if there isn’t a ship in port, the island slows down if not shuts down. Restaurants close earlier and excursions may not even run. So check the port schedule online. We visited the cruise center one day which was fun for one day of craziness! But if you’re looking for late night bar hopping or night clubs, this is NOT the spot for you. This island is really on “island time” basically all bars and restaurants close around 9-10pm. Some are even closed on weeeknds. Exploring the island on the golf cart is great. Can’t really get lost and so many interesting things to see. The stray dogs are so friendly! Be prepared to have one or more walk up and hang out on the deck. It’s great! The beach is your back yard! We snorkeled whenever we wanted and I believe only about 3 people walked on “ our “ beach the whole 5 days we were there. It’s pretty much your own private beach! Really! If you’re looking for a relaxing yet unique fun vacation. This is the spot. The house and location are perfect! Best food on the island is The Ridge Cafe at The Arches. AMAZING! Look out for Smiley playing his awesome music at the Ospery Hotel. He is the perfect island music and vibes! The Sandbar has great views and vibes! Read more

Wonderful house right on the beach, beautiful!
What a wonderful place to stay! By far the most relaxing vacation I've ever had. Right on the beach, just open the gate and walk right out to the ocean. The location is perfect, close enough to restaurants and shops to walk. And when we wanted to do a little more socializing, we went to the cruise center to check out the stores there and go to Margaritaville! The house is very nice and cozy. Large kitchen stocked with cookware, which we used the entire 10 days we were there. Grocery stores also very close, we walked to three different ones. Very clean and someone clearly takes good care of this house. The manager was also very helpful, she had a cab waiting for us at the airport when we landed and met us at the house to let us in. She even emailed me mid-week to check in and make sure we were doing ok. This a a great place to stay and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing beach vacation! Read more

Perfect getaway house‼️
We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this house‼️ It is perfectly located at the end of a path that provided privacy and quietness. And it is conveniently and easily accessible to everywhere in town. It is comfortably furnished and stocked well with every day necessities. The house manager and the caretaker checked in with us on a daily basis to make sure everything was working smoothly like WiFi and TV. The caretaker made sure things we requested such as taxi service and the golf cart rental were satisfactory. We would love to go back to Grand Turk and we will definitely book this house to stay‼️ Read more

We thoroughly enjoyed ourself during our stay on Grand Turk. The house is exactly as pictured. The beach was so peaceful & beautiful. The “ belongers” were so friendly and the pot cakes were the best. We had 2 that adopted us during our stay. If you are looking for a place to relax and refresh, this is the place to go. Read more

Amazing on the beach near Duke street comfortable home
We sure loved our visit to GT and this home was perfect for our group. We had 3 couples ranging from 40’s-60’s years old. We are comfortable with many types of accommodations and this one hit it out of the park. There are 3 different sized rooms and 2 nice bathrooms plus the outdoor cold water shower. We enjoyed being able to rinse off right out of the ocean! The check in process was smooth and the manager met us at the property to familiarize is with the home. She was quickly accessible when a couple questions arose and I appreciate her response time. This is a Caribbean home. Not every detail is high end and perfect so if you need a pristine super lush property, this isn’t for you. If you’re looking for a beautiful and very well equipped kitchen, a large dining area with comfortable chairs, 2 fabulous large sitting areas with comfortable couches, good beds in rooms with their own AC I’m each room, and lots of homey decor that makes this feel like a home, than this place is for you. It’s everything the description says it is. We will DEFINITELY be back to this home! The location is perfect near Duke street and with in easy walking distance to the restaurants that are open once the cruise ships are gone. It takes approx 2 min to walk from the yard to the Osprey Hotel as an example. We cooked many meals in the house and never had a problem finding cookware we wanted to use. I would recommend you either bring your own shampoo or plan on a stop at a grocery store. If you’ve not been to GR before, be warned that the grocery stores don’t always have every item you want. Sometimes it takes multiple stops or you have to wait until the next day to get something. I recommend you get a taxi to the Smart stores, they tend to be a little better stocked with more selections. Also, try to rent a golf cart or other transportation for a day at least. It’s so fun to check out the island. The manager can help you set this up also. Ok, I think that’s it. Don’t be worried about booking this wonderful home. It’s everything you want it to be. Thank you Shannon, we will be back! Read more

Beautful place--strong recommendation
We stayed here for 4 days at the end of a two week diving trip to Salt Cay and Grand Turk. 5 people in all, so the three bedrooms and two baths worked out perfectly. We did some cooking, mainly breakfasts and post dive late lunches, so the fully equipped kitchen worked out great for us. Each bedroom has a split unit A/C (quiet) and there was one big one in the living room common area that kept the place at 72 degrees (sorry for the electric bill, Shannon). The common area is very large with plenty of furniture--couches, chairs, and a dining room table. The deck has plenty of seating also, with lounges and another large table in the shaded area. From the deck, you look out onto a very nice beach with plenty of shelling and/or sea glass collecting. The water right offshore is good for snorkeling with rocks and coral. Every night we were there we had drinks on the deck to get the sun to set (if you don't do that, it will stay up all night). See the dog on the wall? His name is Paws. The sun sets right behind him. Four dogs adopted up on our stay--all very polite and attentive. We have been to Grand Turk many times in the last 15 years, but never had stayed here. It is only about 200 yards from our favorite dive shop, Grand Turk Diving, which is across the road from the Osprey Hotel. If you choose not to cook, there are plenty of places to eat within a 15 minute walk--the Osprey, Sand Bar, etc. One interesting surprise for us was that, after just getting eaten up by mosquitoes a few hundred yards up the road, there were none here. The reason, I think, was that this place gets a good strong breeze all the time. Bob & Margie Speir  Read more

Fantastic house
We spent 9 days on Grand Turk and, in Island Passage, couldn't have hoped for a more comfortable house and better location. The rental procedure was excellent and Deb, the property manger friendly and helpful. The house is beautifully furnished, the kitchen well equipped and the beds exceptionally comfortable. We all dived with nearby Grand Turk Divers who couldn't have been more accommodating - three teenagers one of whom was very apprehensive all learnt to dive. I would highly recommend renting this property! Read more
