Lovely spot would love to revisit.

We had such a lovely time at Sherwood. It felt like a home from home. Our little boys absolutely loved the place. It is homely but also very cool and trendy. Right on the beach. A great inside and outside space. Peter and Angela were great hosts and made us feel very very welcome. Thank you so much.

Home away from home

Cottage was very cosy. The hosts and owners, Angela and Peter were very friendly and went out of their way to help us settle in. Lovely elderly couple. The location was prime, 2 mins walk to beach and shop and restaurants. Less than 10mins drive to Signal Hill and Table Mountain. The kitchen was very well equipped. Fantastic stay.

We stayed for 5 nights so didn't really meet any cleaning staff.

Lovely but lacking

Beautiful location, view and friendly hosts. Very central to everything in Camps Bay.

The single beds are more appropriate for children than adults and one needs to be replaced it is so saggy. The unit was not sufficiently cleaned before our stay. No salt and coffee maker was not enough for four adults. We did not have enough hot water either. We also needed a second set of keys to manage getting in and out.

Exceptional

Lovely hosts. Well-stocked kitchen and comfortable rooms. Fantastic location. We could walk to the beach, shops and restaurants in minutes.

Better WiFi, if possible. Although we were out and about most of the time, anyway.

Absolutely amazing! Peter and Angela were great hosts and very accommodating

Lovely location, just a short walk to the beach, we felt very safe whilst there. There has been issues with power blackouts in Cape Town. But Peter and Angela also had a gas back up too. One step ahead for their guests. Highly recommend Sherwood Cottage. We would go back.

A dream holidays should start here

We were welcomed by a very warm and engaging couple in this privately owned property. The property was very clean, lovely terrace and view over the mountains. Just a stone throw to the beaches, perfect location. Plenty of restaurants around. Just 20 minutes from the V&A waterfront.

A perfect 'home from home' - we loved every minute!

The apartment was absolutely perfect for us. Ideal location, walking distance to Camps Bay beach and all the restaurants/facilities. Angela and Peter were the perfect hosts - friendly, helpful and always available if we needed them. They helped us to settle in straight away and we were all very happy there - especially our baby girl! Sherwood Cottage was a real 'home from home' and we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!

The stay in the Cottage is like you are living in your own home on the best spot of Camp Bay

The location was fantastic. Close to the beach and boulevard, but far away from the noice. The hospitality was amazing. A very warm welcome. The garden was a bonus. Big livingroom. And with two bedrooms and two bathrooms it was easy and comfortable with the kids.

Breakfast not provided. It was not part of the package

Maybe the option to have cleaning service and rooms made up every day. I would not mind having had to pay extra for the service.

I loved not needing a car to go out, or just hopping into an Uber when going to Cape Town centre

Location is secure and walking distance to the beach, shops, as well as restaurants in and around CampsBay (and surrounds), Table Mountain close by for hiking. Love the real cottage in this mansion-stricken suburb.

Nothing really - hot water pressure / flow a bit low.

Family breakaway & Business Trip

Super easy, central location. Cute cosy cottage with history, charm and soft comfy beds. Secure parking behind a motorised gate and enough space for 4 or 5 adults. Thanks Peter and Angela. You are great hosts ❤️
