Bonito Rihad en el centro de Essaouira

Precioso Rihad en el centro de Essaouira, los patios son preciosos, nosotras nos alojamos en una habitacion triple en la ultima planta muy bonita y comoda. Limpio y confortable. A destacar el magnifico desayuno y la amabilidad del personal

La nula respuesta a los mensajes con peticiones importantes antes de la llegada. Y que En booking se me marco un precio, y alli se me cobraron 30 mas

Emplacement top, chambre et literie inconfortable.

Emplacement top au cœur de la médina. Personnels gentils et agréable Super petit déjeuner!!!

Rdc très sombre. Chambres à rafraîchir, salle de bain aussi. Literie à revoir totalement!!!! Matelas, Draps, oreillers, serviettes de douche, vieux et inconfortable. Rien à voir avec les photos et les commentaires précédents.

Spend your money on a newer hotel!

The building was cool, and the food was great

No air conditioner, no elevator. The street noise was so loud I couldn’t sleep with the window open, and no dark curtains. Beds was so firm I tossed and turned all night, so I got no sleep.

Outdated and damp in nice location

I liked the location and the spacious room (we booked a room with 4 beds).

It was damp in our room and everything looked quite outdated. The carpets were full of little stones so it seems they weren’t vacuumed before. The shower also quite outdated. The breakfast terrace was always windy and above all there was construction going on. So there was some noise during breakfast and also later on. I wouldn’t recommend.

Lovely Raid in Top Location

A beautiful typical Moroccan clean room serviced daily in a lovely Riad in the centre of the Medina. Excellent location. Easy walking distance to everything. Staff always available and helpful. Breakfast a good set menu ( just too late starting). Close to bus station to Marrakech & about 2.5kms to bus station to Casablanca.

Wifi didn’t work in room & very weak in other areas Breakfast too late starting at 8.30am

You want the " Moroccan experience"? Riad Maison Du Sud is the hotel..quiet( except the terrace room) BEAUTIFUL HOTEL..Good price,excellent staff,very accommodating( I needed to change rooms)..location right in center,but inside you wouldn't know it..I would return

The riad is located in the middle of the medina and is of walking distance to the bus station. Family room is spacious. Breakfast was good but not included in the room price.

The riad could do with some renovation and painting. There was some smell in the bathroom /room and it can be quite noisy on the street side. The WiFi does not work well.

Friendly stay in the heart of the Medina

Hotel staff were very helpful, accommodating and friendly. There are nice communal areas and roof terrace. Lovely breakfast. Room was clean and comfortable. Only a small amount of noise outside at night. Generally very quiet. On our final morning we had to leave early before breakfast, so the staff packed us up a breakfast picnic bag each, which was very much appreciated.

This is one of my absolute favorite places in the world to stay. The entire staff, from reception to kitchen to cleaning personal is very very kind and very very professional. Outstanding value for money. The Riad itself is gorgeues , the rooms are spacious and beautiful , with a proper living area with couches and table . We extended our stay for another 3 days directly with the Riad. It´s been my second time to stay here ( first was in 2017 )

A warmly stay in middle of Medina, close to everywhere.

The manager was very kind and helpful. The driver Abdershim was awesome. He took us everywhere for a fair price.

The shower was spreading water everwhere, so we had to hold it all the time.

Cute and nice Riad in the middle of Essaouira.

Very friendly staff, amazing decoration! Rooms are wonderful.

Bathroom smells like mold. The music club that borders on the back of the building makes so much noise you can’t sleep at all before 1 am, not even with earplugs in.

Best Riad breakfast in Morocco. Lots of open space and community areas. Nice rooftop.

Some of the rooms had a damp smell from the bathroom.

Not planning to return to this facility unless upgraded :-)

Breakfast was good and staff were attentive. Displayed art was lovely

Bed sheets were not clean. Overall facility was slightly ran down and not good value for money

great location & helpful team.

The team at reception were very helpful in booking guides, hammam, recommending delicious meals. Also helping with transfers etc. For our first few nights in Morocco this felt like a good traditional Riad with beautiful artwork and decoration.

The design of the Riad means every time someone talks down at breakfast or clatters luggage down the central stairs it is heard very clearly in the rooms. Only an issue if you're hoping for a long lie in and people are departing for early transfers etc.

Amazing Riad

Beautiful Riad in the middle of the medina, close to the beach, shops and restaurants. Loved staying there, the rooms are big, clean and quiet. The breakfast was amazing ans so was the staff working there. I will be coming back for sure!

Superb

The location was perfect, right in the center of the Souk. The bed was very comfortable but a bit short so I wouldn't suggest it for tall people. The room was spacious and furnished in the typical Moroccan style. The riad was just beautiful. The breakfast was really tasty and the waiter very friendly.

There was no toiletries, just hand soap and we could hear some noise from the main road.
