Loved the hotel and the location, the staff were absolutely amazing! And so helpful. Loved the hotel so much.
The room was dark (it did keep cool during the day which was great ) but at around 5pm it felt way too dark as it was on the bottom floor (could do with some new colorful paint, eg the beautiful blue they have in some rooms to add more brightness). They do have many wonderful rooms just our one wasn’t like on the photos.

Riad Chamali is a charming, traditionally and gorgeously decorated house. Attention to detail and colour coordination in every room and throughout. It’s peaceful and quiet, with the added tranquility of waking up to beautiful birds singing. I searched long and hard for a perfect little riad to stay in, and it exceeded my expectations. All the staff went extra miles for us to have a comfortable and lovely time, and they treated us like family. Achour, Hamza and Hamza are caring and warm hearted, and they are true assets to Riad Chamali. I also highly recommend to try Mama B’s cooking, she cookes with love and you can definitely taste it!! 🧡

My friend and I really enjoyed our stay at Riad Chamali. It was a 15-minute walk from the crowded and busy Jemaa el-Fnaa, which meant that our area was really quiet and pleasant. The beds were comfortable, and there was enough space for all our luggage (we travelled from Asia to Morocco so our bags were bigger). Breakfast is also provided, which was a bonus. The eating area also doubles as a restaurant in the evenings, and serves really great tajines and salads that are cheaper than some of the restaurants in town.
Shoutout to the two receptionists, they were fantastic, especially Sa'ad, who was a really honest chap who returned us our money when he realised we overpaid for something. We really appreciated that.
The shower pressure could be better and the hot water was a little temperamental.

Little far from the Medina and the square, but it gives you the privacy and quiet you’re looking for. lovely and helpful, generous staff!
Shower water felt really cold at night, had to interrupt my shower because the water got so cold and didn’t warm up. careful if you wanna take a shower late at night!

The Chefchaouen room is in the ground floor close to the stairs, one can hear all the comings and goings

Hospitality and it's a beautiful place.
The location is great because it is walking distance from the main attractions, but it was not a pleasant walk when you have to go back late at night.

Really lovely bedroom with a great bathroom and good quality shampoo and hand soap.
little plunge pool and great terrace to have an evening drink
Breakfast rather repetitive and poor selection which is a little surprising given the quality of the rest of the Riad (orange juice, not drink and three different types of bread)

location was nice, secluded, quiet and safe, but still close enough to the Medina to that you could get to it very quickly
Because it’s a riad, you don’t have standard locks for your room. it’s part of the experience, but is a little unnerving initially. wouldn’t want them to change this, it’s part of the culture and experience

Staff very friendly, very good location for getting around the city.
Walls are a bit thin so can be noisy!

Riad was very stylish and clean. Staff was nice and always friendly
Breakfast was only breads, jam, juice and coffee and was exactly the same everyday. Would have liked some protein. It just felt a bit stingy. We did not like the location. About 15 minute walk to where the action is. Wished we had booked something in the centre.

Located in a safe neighbourhood south of Medina, the Riad is quiet and not too far from the main street where you can get Taxi. It's a 10min walk to Place des Ferblantiers, and another 10 to the Medina.
The courtyard and room are nicely curated. The staff on site are super nice and helpful to guide me to places to eat and tour around. The breakfast was not bad but not splendid - some bread & juice. The pool is nice and not too shallow, great for the scorching afternoon of Marrakech.
I'm working remotely during the afternoon/night so I really need stable WiFi. Although I've read in other comments that the WiFi here is one of the best in old town but don't count on it for stable video conference calls. To be fair, the room is also not hotel clean.

Breakfast is great and the location too. It is so quiet but near everything, you really are in a riad and you know it when you arrive.
People are the most friendly - Hanza is one of the best hosts you can have in Morocco, almost as family! If you need anything just let him know.

Beautiful decor, friendly and attentive staff, delicious food, convenient and quiet location.
Even though we felt like our things were safe, I would’ve preferred the ability to lock the door.

Staff was amazing and management was very flexible in making sure the experience was as comfortable as possible. They even upgraded my room because of vacancies at the property. Great at communication via text and phone calls.

It was our first time in Marocco and Marrakech. So naturally, it was a culture shock at first. But the warmth of the people and the unspoiled beauty of the place and the culture made us fall in love with Marrakech. The Riad Chamali is a beautiful place, very true to its roots, a privately owned villa with a poool/garden in the middle. The food was exceptional. The personnel was awesome, Yassin is a very resourceful and helpful young man and Rashid is the friendliest person we ever met. Together with Mouta, the manager of the Hotel made us feel very comfortable and all our wishes were fulfilled. I must also add that I requested gluten free meals and it was all provided as I wished for. The quality of our stay surpassed our expectations, we stayed with our 3yr. old and were happy to spend time on the terrace overlooking the city basking in the sun as well. Would definitely consider visiting again.
No complaints. Visiting Marrakech you have to have an open heart and be willing to experience a different culture which in its own right is magnificent.

It’s a cozy and very beautiful riad in the quiet part of the medina. The room was very clean, plenty of room and storage space. Great location, 10 minutes walk to the main square. The staff was great and breakfast was good (maroccan style, sweet).
