Location was the best. Right in the centre of the Medina but still quiet when coming back to the Riad. The staff were really helpful. The breakfast was fine for us. Small and traditional Morroccan. We didnt want a huge breakfast like you get in hotels.
It would have been nice if there were more sunbeds on the roof terrace.

We had a lovely 5 night stay at Riad Spice! The riad is beautiful, clean and in a really good location! I would 100% recommend doing the cooking class at Riad Star, Asma was amazing and we had a really good morning learning to cook traditional foods.
On arrival to the Riad we were given an app to download which gave us all the information on local restaurants, things to do and directions. It was very helpful! Sunsets from the rooftop are also amazing and breakfast was lovely!!
I would 100% recommend this Riad if you’re visiting marrakesh! thanks for a lovely stay!

Loved the room, private terrace, really friendly host and staff and helpful arranging taxis to the accommodation.
Beds were a little hard and the location was a little hard to find in an street location that didnt feel safe on the first night. Once we got our bearings it was easy.

Beautiful traditional riad in a great location near the souk. The building details are stunning - its a real work of art. Staff were amazing (thank you!) and the food (breakfast and dinner) was fantastic. The lamb tagine for dinner was one of the best things we ate in Marrakesh! The riad is tricky to find so I would recommend organising a transfer to get there so they can send a man with a cart to collect you and your bags and take you to the entrance - cars can not get all the way there).
ps you should definitely go for a dip in the plunge pool, on the ground floor!
We were originally in the Juniper room (which was marketed on Booking as a 'Large Double / Twin'). The room itself was beautiful, and although I wouldn't describe it as being large (there was a double bed but not much else in the room) it was enough for our needs and had a stunning bathroom. However, be aware that this room has a very thin connecting door to the next door room Nigella (so that they can be connected as a large suite), and as a result we heard EVERYTHING from next door. And I mean EVERYTHING - urrgghh! After our first night the staff and management were brilliant and moved us to a much bigger and more private room / suite (Vanilla) which was wonderful - very large and stunning. SO.... Just be aware that there is quite a big difference between the different rooms if you end up in one of the two rooms mentioned pack some earplugs unless you like listening in! I would suggest maybe management should only sell these rooms as a connected suite, or perhaps they could improve the sound proofing somehow (eg heavy curtains on each side of the connecting door).
The only other comment is that the rooms are not the most practical; this didn't really bother us and was small things (eg no towel rails in the bathroom, antique bedside lights that didn't work, no much space in bathrooms for ones toiletries, furniture often 'antique' rather than comfy) and I think this is just the nature of staying in historic riads... If this would bother you maybe consider more modern hotels.

Des chambres spacieuses, un cadre typé , Un emplacement idéal pour la Médina, Des petits déjeuners superbes et un personnes adorable.
Chambre un peu bruyante… mais les hôtes restaient néanmoins assez respectueux

Friendly staff went above and beyond
Door to room was broken. Also shabby in places torn cushions on sun beds for example. Sound travels within riad especially guests coming home late and early morning departures. Tables to eat on same floor as the bedrooms. Staff delightful

Riad Spice is situated in the middle of the Medina and souks and the perfect location for a short break.
The staff are exceptionally helpful and nothing is too much trouble. It is tastefully decorated and very clean. The breakfast which is included is excellent
There is nothing to dislike about this property except perhaps it would be hard to find if you weren’t guided there initially as there is no signage over the entrance.

Comfortable, excellent location and excellent service provided by the staff

Amazing staff and bedrooms.
Mohamed and Zouhair are the kindest person we ever met during our holidays.
They treated us in the best way and were always available to help.
We also had a little health problem and they managed everything for us helping a lot (not that easy in Marrakech)

An absolutely stunning riad with brilliant service! A perfect home away from home. Zakaria was absolutely amazing and very friendly - showed us all the local sites on a map on arrival, welcomed us with mint tea and was always available to answer any questions.
The location is perfect, tucked away in the souks and within walking distance to the main attractions in Marrakech. The taxi stands are a short 5min walk away.
The riad is difficult to find on arrival as there is no sign.
The rooms are dark and not very well lit.
The mattresses are unfortunately hard.

The staff was amazing! Shoutout to Zacchariah for taking great care of use, giving suggestions on things to do and more. We greatly appreciate him and his hospitality.
I wish there was a sign outside with the name of the riad. At first we were lost, and harassed by random people outside and yelled at for money. Very uncomfortable experience getting there., could easily be solved with the name of the riad being posted.

Great place, beautifull rooms, nice people
We asked for glutenfree breakfast both in advance and in the riad itself, but staff kept forgetting about it and could ultimately provide quite little

Staff were so helpful. Room was really spacious (like a suite) and the room was really clean. Delicious breakfast and dinner.
Great location right in the Medina. Lovely restaurants close by. We had a lot of luggage and a baby, and the staff were so helpful getting us to and from our transfer taxi. Location great for us travelling with a child as easy to get back for naps etc. Lovely rooftop terrace.

Staff - kind, gentle, patient, efficient and very hard working. Road pool beautiful.
The shower temperature was sometimes difficult to control in our room

We had a lovely stay at Riad Spice. It was truly a mini sanctuary away from the madness of the streets of the medina. Zouhair, Mohammed and the rest of the team were very accommodating and often asked how we were and if they could get us anything - mint tea (with yummy biscuits) were available on request whenever we wanted.
We recommend taking up their offer of being met by a guardian for arrival when your taxi drops you off - the medina is wonderful but very overwhelming when you first arrive and having someone show us the way to the Riad was very beneficial! Mohammed booked us a car when we departed and helped us with our bags to meet the driver too.
We really recommend Riad Spice!

A beautiful riad with friendly & helpful staff - we really enjoyed our stay!
The location probably wasn’t ideal travelling as a group of girls, I hadn’t realised that the riad is located in the centre of a souk, it’s around a 10min walk out to reach the main road/ taxis etc

there was a lot of noise because of partying people. The staff sadly didn’t care.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Riad: the location in the heart of old medina, spotless room, beautiful decor, authentic, delicious food and most of all - the staff. They are really wonderful, warm people who make you feel like you’re staying with a family. You can trust their recommendations and knowledge about local culture, customs, sights, restaurants, day trips, etc.
