Awesome hotel that includes everything you need

Great hotel, and the beach club in the hotel is also just perfect - there was a movie on the beach on Sunday night and there was a fire to toast marshmallows every evening that was also super nice. We didn’t want to leave the property for a minute. The staff were just amazing and took care of everything we needed in seconds!

Hotel for oldschool people with average expectations

The view on shared swimming pool was nice. Hotel is clean and staff comes very quickly if needed.

WiFi was bad. Staff was too invasive and talking too much to us. Very poor menu in terms of vegetarian options. Zero view in the villa. Prices on the hotel beach club were higher vs main hotel. Issues with hot water in the room. Bread and pastries not fresh - breakfast. The worst food in Bali so far for us. Etc... Not a good value for money.

Fantastic small resort on heaven!

Amazing place, all the resort is beautiful everywhere. There are view points across the resort, to see the ocean from the ciffs. I spend 2 hours watching the landscape and sitting on the grass, real meditation for eyes. Very clean, well maintained, and the service is personalized. The staff is super professional and very well trained (but not robotized), they almost read your thoughts. They pay attention to you every moment and they do very quickly whatever you need, but stay almost invisible and quiet! The breakfast is the best I have during my one month trip across Bali, and the food in general is very good, at normal or affordable prices. The beach is easily accessible because they have a cable car to get you near the beach. The bar and the restaurant at the beach are big too, so you can spend all the day at the beach having what ever you need. The beach is also open to people outside of the resort, so it is busy, but very comfortable at the same time. Everything is super professional but very personalized and warm at the same time, you can feel it, in a very very amazing environment! Thank you for all your attention and this wonderful experience!

Perfect place in a spectacular location

Loved everything about this place! The privacy and beauty of our Villa, the quiet compound it was nestled in, the spectacular view from the cliffs... and of course the luxury of being pampered by the kind and most professional people who took care of us every minute of our stay. Oh, and did I mention the butler? Sometimes I had the feeling she could read our minds... With all its luxury, the Ungasan is never over the top, but has a pleasantly personal atmosphere. We will be back for sure.

stay was wonderful was the pefecr way to end our holiday! I would highly recommend for the last few days of your trip

the property was perfect, staff were attentive and very helpful, we arrived earlier than check in time and they allowed us to have our room right away which was a huge thing for us. we also had a midnight flight the next day so they gave us late check out free of charge and we went to Sundays beach club for the day left our luggage at reception and then showered in the lobby and headed straight to the airport! was very convenient and no hassle!

we get a private butler which is great but we found it a bit too formal calling us by name every second we would of preferred more chill vibes but he was just doing his job. The breakfast was poor we prefer a buffet and more choice. it’s a great place to stay to end the holiday as the location is remote so not much around the hotel

Exceptional

Everything! The villa was beautiful and cleaned regularly. The shared villa pool had an infinity edge which had stunning views over the cliff face - this exceeded expectations! Free access to Sundays beach club was very welcoming, the staff were incredible, friendly and attentive and the food was nice. All the staff made us feel special and the views were out of this world. It was really relaxing and we hope to return.

Fantastic Villa in an exceptionally beautiful location

Fantastic location and the Villa was beautiful. The view is absolutely amazing. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Having access to the beach club was also great. Snorkelling at low tide is worthwhile. Would highly recommend The Ungasan

wonderfully located paradise

nothing. if being pushed, as a hotel guest the pool area did get a little busy with non-hotel guests waiting to get into Sundays the beach club. it would be good if the pool could remain for the use of hotel guests only.

Stunning world Class Cliff Top Location not to miss

The Cliff Top Resort is a little off the beaten track at the top of Ungasan / Ulawatu where there are several high end resorts to choose from ..We chose The CIifftop based on its intimate size and reputation .The "WOW " factor hits you the moment you arrive ..the grounds and gardens are stunning incl a Concise Gym , Lovely tennis court (decent racquets and balls ) and even a chip and put green (needs a little attention )..There are 7 stunning Villas all with 5 suites, a common living area (BIG TV ) and superb private pool ...You can actually book a Villa out completely or share it with others (which is no drama ) . A ride down the cliff face in the Inclinator and maybe 60 steps or so and you,re at "Sundays" Beach Club ...close your eyes and dream of anywhere you want to be and this will be it !..The food menu is brilliant , service exceptional and location world class . Our only constructive criticisms were minor interior items which we passed on to management

For longer stays we would suggest plan a dinner outing nearby so as not to tire from the excellent in house menu.

An overall nice one

No doubt that Sunday beach club is the highlight. The whole resort feels cozy, staffs were very helpful and friendly. Special thanks to Brenden, Darna, Martin, Nara and Dayu.

Saw couple of mosquitoes in the room (but I think it's common in Bali). Food quality can be improved a bit.

A truly restful stay

The staff were one of the best things about our staff. Every staff member we interacted with was warm, friendly and professional. The location is exceptional, and the accommodation was beautiful for a truly relaxing stay. We really appreciated the help from staff when my husband was unwell, as well as being able to accommodate us with a late check out. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Magical 5 star Clifftop experience

Our private Villa enjoyed a spectacular endless view across the ocean from its heavenly pool . We enjoyed the best breakfast of our entire trip floating on the pool!! The most delicious porridge with fresh fruit, rhubarb and all the trimmings! We were appointed our own private butler - the wonderful miss Dama - such a lovely and helpful lady. The stay comes with free VIP entry to sundays best club which is stunning and a great fun way to enjoy this spectacular beach and coastline. Highly recommend the Balinese snapper with sambal for an authentic culinary experience.

Everything. This place is absolutely heaven.

only thing i think needs improvement is the food. its not bad, but not quite what you would expect at such a fancy place. also the choices are pretty limited, and since its very remote you have to eat all your meals in the hotel. still the BEST hotel ever.

Fabulous stay in a truly luxurious property!

The location, the service, the food and the property in general was just exceptional. Rizka, our butler was the best and took really great care of us. Would definitely look to go back here. it is also a perfect property for large families to holiday together.

Incredible!

We had a fantastic 2 night stay at the Ungasan to finish up our trip in Bali. Our villa was beautiful - one of the comfiest beds we have ever slept in. The villas are part of a communal area with a shared pool which was great and absolutely stunning - the views from the infinity pool were incredible! All the staff were so friendly and very helpful. Special shout out to Adi at Sundays, and Lofan who was the butler when we arrived. We spent a couple of days at Sundays which was great. The beach is stunning and has lifeguards and a recreation team who bring out paddle boards and snorkels at low tide. We had a late flight and as there was availability we were lucky enough to be given a late check out which meant we were able to really enjoy our last day!
