lovely stay in Samui great location for everything and also very comfy sun beds

loved the location and the jungle garden setting , the lodges were fab . the bathrooms are a bit tired but all very clean

our WC was a bit tired could do with replacing

Everything was wonderful about the hotel but spoilt by intrusive night market.

Very comfortable accomodation, excellent swimming facilities and good breakfast

Not hotel fault but the night market on the street is now 4 times a week, totally excessive. The noise of a live band goes till midnight. I have been going for more than 20 years to Smile House but I doubt I will return unless the night market goes back to 1 night a week. Property itself is just great.

Comfortable stay in Fisherman's village

Great location in the middle of Fisherman's Village action. We had a spacios 2-bedroom bungalow with nice beds, aircon unit in each room and 2 bathrooms. We were pleased with timely housekeeping, fresh towels daily, nice breakfast and fantastic garden! Lovely sea view from the restaurant. All in all it was a comfortable stay.

Kids complained about the water odor in the pool (strong desinfectant I guess). Also we missed sunbeds on the beach with a shadow over. Breakfast variety was rather limited for a week's stay, but thanks for good coffee machine!

Lovely Hotel in the centre of Bo Phut. 20 metres in to the grounds so peaceful and calm away from the busy street.

There are two pools which were lovely, clean and sunloungers with cushions and towels provided. the room surrounded by the well tended gardens was pretty and nice to sit on the balcony. most staff greeted you with a smile! Breakfast was nice. Location was nice but we found it limited with only 3 bars to relax in on an evening.

Bathroom could do with an update.

Great relaxing spot on the way home after a busy time in Europe

Liked the location across the road from the beach and close to shops, cafes etc. Beautiful grounds and pools. Units were spacious with good fittings. Great restaurant. Friendly staff.

reception staff not very welcoming or helpful but rest of staff fine. for such a big hotel supplying more than 1 tube of shower gel would help especially when staying for 6 days

Absolutely loved my time here. Such a beautiful resorts with two big pools. Amazing staff, so friendly and helpful. Lovely quite area but still some cool beach bars and markets around.

location not for us, but was a nice place

we only stayed there 1 night before we went to ko phanang and the location was not for us. way too focused on tourists. Even though it was not our crowd, Smile house was a nice place with decent breakfast and we were able to do a late check out which we really appreciated.

Location was good .pool was clean

Aircon wasn't cold enough took three days to fix it. Our bed broke abd they made us sleep on the floor for a night. Not sure why they call it the smile house ? Considering none of the staff were smiling.. .breakfast was packed up early every morning and very limited. Heaps better places to stay for $

Wonderful, just how we remembered it. We were so happy to be back and this time with our children.

The pool area is never overly busy, it is well kept. There is the advantage of 2 pool areas, one being a little more shaded which is perfect for the children. The breakfast is situated on the beach, which gives a lovely view to start your day. The location is awesome. Fishermans village is so lovely and vibrant, there is something for everyone. The night market is great and all the food stalls are great too. This hotel is so reasonably priced, we would not stay anywhere else.

It can be a little noisy on the side closest the night market, however this is not the fault of the hotel and it closes at a reasonable time. There really isn't anything we don't like about Smile House. We have stayed many times and met others on this trip who have also been back multiple times.

Great spot

Fantastic location right in the heart of Fisherman's Village. Even tho the hotel is in a busy area, you wouldnt even know due to the layout and lovely gardens. The rooms were really nice and the breakfast was awesome!

Good location. Nice pools and access to the beach. Good breakfast. Staff helpful. We found people a little slower to smile and warm up here compared to other places we stayed in thailand.

Our stay at Smile House was fantastic again and we’ll come back again.

We came back to the same place after a year and brought our friends too. Everything at Smile House met our expectations, pleasant accommodation in a charming garden with two beautiful pools, very kind and helpful staff. The breakfast was less varied and after a few days we had a hard time looking for any surprises, but we always combined something that we liked.

The only less pleasant surprise after last year's quiet and peaceful evenings was the loud music from nearby, which, especially after midnight, spoiled the overall atmosphere of the resort.

The location is excellent, right in Fisherman's Village. The property was lovely, nice villas, spacious rooms. The sea in front of the restaurant. Decent spread for the breakfast. Great value for money ! Will definitely visit again

Great location and good value for money but the showers need to be cleaned

Great location in the heart of Fishermans village. The grounds are well kept and it feels like you are in the jungle.

The shower is in need of a deep clean.
