Fine except the kitchen counter was peeling and a skillet could not be used because it,, too, had a peeling surface. Condo in same building we stayed in last year was in much better condition.

This is a beautiful, modern designed loft located very central to downtown activities which was great for what we were looking for. The pictures are exactly what you get! Everything was very clean, and the instructions to check in were very clear. We enjoyed our stay!

I have thoroughly enjoyed my stay and had a pleasant experience! I would highly recommend this place as the host was very welcoming, communicative, and proactive to make sure my stay was smooth sailing. I appreciate that the host left a welcoming guide package and a list of suggested places to eat. I would love to visit again! The view of the apartment is gorgeous!

Sucks. If you like smelling weed down the hall, in the elevator, and outside on the streets, this is the place for you! I hope you're not tall, otherwise you can see when the last time they cleaned the top of the fridge. The towel rack came off the wall in the bathroom. The corners of all the floors are dirty. When you walk into the building an alarm is going off constantly and lasted all 5 days we were there. I get the feeling it's been going on for the last 12 years...
The place is Ok if you want something cheap, but this will be cheap in all aspects. Including the coating coming off the kitchen countertops. Who has that?
Just greatly disappointed with this place, I'm not sure how it's rated so high.

My friend and I had a great stay here! The property was easy to access, clean, and extremely spacious. My only critique is that I had an allergic reaction to the down pillows, but was quickly able to fix by wrapping a towel around it! Overall a great stay.

My husband and I, as well as several of our friends, booked VRBOs in the Ludwig Lofts for an event we came to town for. We were very impressed with the cleanliness and everything that the unit provided to make our stay very easy. We also felt very safe being downtown with the the procedures that the property managers have in place to make sure the building is only accessible to tenants. It was also nice that we were able to ship some packages here as well, since we were flying in from out of town. Great experience!

Property in the perfect location for Downtown activities and walk ability. Only downside is having to pay for parking. The residence was clean and comfortable. We felt very safe in the building. Would stay there again.

Absolutely beautiful! Fully outfitted kitchen with all modern appliances fixtures. Perfect place to walk all over Downtown. The hosts were really great and they have compiled a great little book of local interests. Bed was also really comfy. We will be back, no doubt about it.

We traveled from New York to see some baseball games and explore St. Louis. The unit was very spacious and clean, and the owners provided many excellent recommendations for nearby restaurants and activities. We could have walked to most of our destinations, but we did have a car that we parked in a lot around the corner. We primarily used the car at night to get around and attend night games. It was a plus that the parking lot owner allowed us to park overnight. The building's security was reassuring given the large number of homeless people asking for money outside. This was a citywide thing, not limited to just this area. You just have to be watchful of your surroundings. We felt secure throughout our stay. I would recommend staying here if you're visiting St. Louis for sightseeing or watching a game.

We had a great stay here. It was spacious and clean, and all the furniture was very comfortable. Two bathrooms also a huge plus. Communication with host was excellent!
Definitely recommend paying for parking garage and avoiding street parking, especially overnight. Otherwise location was great, within walking distance to almost anything!

Not just an easy walk to the ballpark, this loft is located in a really fun neighborhood. Several good restaurants and bars are also in easy walking distance. There is also a nice grocery store with convenient parking above it, just a block away. We just parked the car and walked everywhere... very convenient.
The building is nice and the unit is as described. It needs a few surface fixes, but the hosts were very responsive to our concerns (we requested an extra comforter and it was sent over immediately) and these minor issues didn't distract from the enjoyment of our trip. We would definitely stay there again for future trips to see the Cardinals!

Recently had the pleasure of staying at the Ludwig Lofts and I can say it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. Communication with the property manager was excellent, great host. The location of the property was close to everything my friend and I wanted to do. The unit was extremely spacious and clean and loved everything about it. My stay at the property absolutely exceeded my expectations and would absolutely love to stay there again next time I visit the St. Louis area. Property was clean, bed very comfortable and you cant beat the location. It was a short walk to busch stadium for the concert we attended. Also, the grocery store had a little of everything if you need it. I forgot socks and they even had those! The host got back with me immediately when i had questions.

My husband and I came up for 5 nights to go to the Luke Combs concert at the Cardinals Stadium. It was a wonderful experience. Felt safe in this loft and would stay here again. Parking was always available in front of the loft and the parking garage up the block was perfectly fine too. We walked to the stadium on the night of the concert and back and felt fine doing so. We also walked down to the arch and around town for multiple places to eat that were close by. Definitely give Bailey’s a try! We went 3 times since it was so close! And their ice cream is made in-house and has that homemade creaminess and is so good! The arch is obviously worth walking to to see and we toured the Anhauser-Busch Brewery! Definitely worth it if you like beer! The zoo is free! Yes I said free!!! And it is really pretty. We went 2 days and took our time getting around the zoo and just spent a couple hours each day and were able to see everything. The Botanical gardens is absolutely beautiful and worth a visit if you like flowers and landscape! Jack Nolen’s was another great place to eat! We really enjoyed our stay and it was a wonderful getaway with no kids for a few days! Would recommend to anyone who is considering a trip away!

The loft was perfect for our needs. The beds and pillows were comfortable, the decor was cool and fun, and the unit was close to many things to do in the city. The bathroom cabinets need to be replaced and the water pressure in the hall shower was a trickle, but the place was clean and spacious and I would definitely stay there again.

Nice very spacious apt! We walked to the arch, grocery store and close by restaurants. I parked my car in the garage and felt it was safe there. We were able to Uber to other points of interest. Great place in the city.

I3 stars because I believe the owners need some motivation to invest $ 500-1000 to turn this beautiful apartment from a 3-star for $ 95 a night to a 5-star for more $ per night.
Perhaps $ is not their motivation, but as a VRBO owner myself, I am surprised at their lack of attention to the previous postings stating things that have been broken and needed attention for months and months and are still present and ignored.
Same issues as previously posted.
Bathroom shower pressure in the hall bath. Is nonexistent. I better have a shower if I had poured a 16oz bottled water over my head.
Bathroom cabinets are broken. Open cabinet doors...and the wood facing falls off. Also no lock on the bathroom door.
Living room light has no shade and is broken.
Barely any light in bedrooms. Vampire-esq.
Formica kitchen countertops were painted for some reason and are peeling.
Security alarm in the first-floor hallway to the building is constantly going off.
No washer/dryer. This is odd for an apartment.
Spend $ 500-1000 at home depot to transform into a world-class. So stupid and shortsighted of the owners.
Great location, architecture, and style. If the owners fix the shower pressure, I would stay here again but if not fixed.... no way, as it is impossible to use.
Re-invest my $ from our 4-night stay and fix these issues - 5 stars across the board go forward. If not...3 stars at best. Sorry.....

Ludwig was a great place to stay. Safe building, very comfortable beds (two bedrooms and two full baths were a big plus!)
Perfect location - within walking distance to Busch Stadium. Sushi AI and Salt & Pork restaurants were delicious (within walking distance). Thanks to the hosts!! Highly recommended.

While I really wanted to like this stay, I don’t think this place was for us. The apartment definitely lead more worn than what the photos indicated and was in need of a deep cleaning (heavy dust, dirty dishes, stained sheets, broken fixtures). For the price I should’ve known and I will consider this a lesson learned. We ended up needing to purchase Clorox wipes just to make sure everything was at a minimum sanitized. I think this place could be very nice, but it needs a deep cleaning and it would be helpful to make sure renters know that they’ll need to pay for parking in the listing.

I brought my kiddos here to go to the City Museum, Arch and Union Station. The Unit was so nice and roomy and very safe. The location was perfect and short walk to all the above. Great food, coffee and grocery store all in walking distance. Really glad I found this and would def. Stay here again.

Location great for us, we were there for the Cardinals game. Very clean, bed was comfortable, very nice like the pictures. Restaurants, grocery store, and coffee shop close. The the book on the island for recommendations very helpful. Marshall was great with responding and details for everything we needed to know.

We stayed for 2 nights. The loft is really spacious & even thought it’s in the middle of the city it was really quiet. The beds are super comfy & the loft is stylishly furnished. There are some great bars & restaurants nearby as is the famous arch. Ideal spot for a city break.

This property was perfect for a long weekend in St. Louis! Across the street from a Speakeasy, walking distance to the arch. We hopped on a few e-scooters and rode around the arch grounds and it was a blast!
A few cosmetic items that need attention in the apartment, but beds were comfy, location was great, and owner was attentive.

The reviews were right, one of the bathrooms shower pressure was very low so it made showering harder. But overall the place was beautiful. I ended up getting sick and had to go to the urgent care on the day of checkout and the owner was not flexible on the checkout time. I understand there might have been guests coming after us, but a little empathy and flexibility would’ve gone a long way with us. The owner didn’t say anything remotely empathetic and said the checkout time was firm. I just think a little understanding would be appreciated if you want customers to come back.
We liked that there were bathroom essentials left for us, easy checkout process, and easy access to the apartment, parking and things to do in the area. Everything r had planned for the weekend es within walking distance. They also left a book with recommendations which was helpful too.
