Located in Lake Erie, this lovely house for $402 per night is a great choice for your next break. Take a break from it all and stay at our updated, fully renovated Wine Hop-Inn located in the heart of Geneva, Ohio's wine country! The Wine Hop features a dining room that overlooks local grapevines, a spacious kitchen with a raised breakfast bar/4 stools, a cozy den with a very comfy couch, and an amazing backyard with a fire pit, horseshoes, and outdoor seating area. Sit on the back porch, relax and listen to the birds. PLEASE NOTE - the Wine Hop does NOT have central air. In the summer we use window A/C units that keep the house quite cool. We do have WiFi for your convenience. Located 20 minutes to the north is Ohio's oldest summer resort at Geneva-on-the Lake where you can choose from arcades, putt-putt, batting cages, water slides and much more. Tour the covered bridges or hop around to the local wineries. For the outdoor enthusiast, the Wine Hop is conveniently located near Hemlock Hills golf course, the Grand River, and Greenway bike trail. The world class Spire Institute is just 4 miles north on SR 534 Dine at the area's favorites: Virant's Family Winery, Grand River Cellars, Laurentia, Stonegait, Old Mill Winery, Eddie's Grill, and many more. Taste some local wines: Debonne, Kosicek, Cask 307, South River, M Cellars, Laurentia....and the list goes on and on! Take time to visit the Red Eagle Distillery - Ashtabula's only bourbon maker. If you like bowling check out Sonny Lanes just a mile and half from the house - they have excellent pizza and wings and a full bar! Finish the evening sitting around the campfire sipping wine from any of the local wineries located just minutes from the Wine Hop. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with family while in town our daughter’s wedding (5 minutes from Running Horse Farms). Jennifer thought of everything; water and drink mixes in the hydration station, yard games, a s’mores kit, plenty of paper towels, TP, soaps, towels/linens, and topped off with a bottle of local wine! The house was exactly as described/pictured; immaculately clean, and comfortable. Jennifer was very accommodating and quick to respond. The home is in a quiet, easily accessible location within minutes from dozens of wineries. Beds were comfortable. Highly recommend and we will certainly be visiting again in the future!

We could not have asked for a better place to stay. Beautiful location. Beautiful home. Anything we needed was provided. All the small things you don't realize you need until you need them. She thoughtvof everything. The decor is so perfect. I added so many things to my Amazon list. I wish we could've stayed longer. Our host communicated about everything. We can't wait to go back next year.

We booked the Wine Hop for a girls’ getaway to celebrate three 50th birthdays. It was perfect. The decor was fun and there was so much attention to detail. The welcome gifts and decorations were beyond our expectations. It was a great getaway weekend.

Wonderful house... perfect for our first girl's getaway. Owner went above and beyond to think of everything you would ever need. Spotless and so comfortable. Our family LOVED this property! It was in a quiet location near some friends that lived in the area. We had everything we wanted and more! There were things to do for all ages! The owners were very accommodating and hospitable, and communicated very well with us. If we vacation in the area again, this will be our first place to look for availability! We STRONGLY recommend!

House is very cute and clean. Relaxing and quiet stay. All the other reviews were spot on. Only two things we found slightly inconvenient- 1, it was impossible to get a Uber or Lyft from there. The wine shuttles are a little too pricey. And 2- the heat. There was no heat. It got pretty cold (high 30s-low 40s) when we were there, the temp inside just kept dropping. Cranked the heat all the way up and nothing happened. Otherwise we loved our stay. Beds are comfy, convenient toiletries available, showers had great pressure and enough hot water. Kitchen has everything you could need to prepare any meal. And the silence! As a group of 3 moms we all appreciated a couple days with just the trees blowing in the wind and nobody yelling “Mom!!” Lol We loved it.

A group of 5 ladies stayed the weekend to wine hop and thought this would be the perfect place. We were not wrong. From the moment we got there it was immaculate and the most fully stocked rental we have been too. It’s a great location to many of the best wineries and comfortable for all of us. Another excellent weekend at The Wine Hop! Sitting around the fire pit under a sky full of stars is the perfect way to end a fun filled day with friends. We stayed at the Wine Hop to celebrate our 50th birthdays. There were 3 couples. The house was perfect! Very clean with a great outdoor seating area and fire pit. The host even surprised us with birthday welcome treats and decorations! We’ve stayed at various vrbo rentals in Geneva and this was one of the best!

The description fit what we experienced but everything was better than we expected. A wonderful large and clean home. So much room outside to play in the front and back along with a huge firepit with chairs. While it's away from all of the action, we preferred the pace and cooking our meals over the fire versus staying in GOTL which felt too touristy for us. But it was also a short drive to wineries and GOTL if that's what you'd like to do. We'd definitely stay here again.

This house is very comfortable to stay in and so much yard! Terrific fire pit. The owner was helpful and responsive. Our kids saw lightning bugs for the first time and were delighted. Best part is that it's close to everything but not in the craziness of the resort areas. Very quiet and peaceful at night.

A group of 8 girls stay here for the weekend. This place was perfect! The house was clean and had enough room for us all! It was with in 10 minutes to some amazing Wineries (M Cellars our fave). The outside was beautiful. We had a fire both night - fire wood provided. We sat on the patio off the garage each morning. Plenty of seating for all! Lacked a few key kitchen items ( baking sheets ) but other than was perfect for our getaway!

Tammy’s home is absolutely perfect! She really thinks of every single item you could possibly need when away from home. It was a perfect fit for our family (2 adults and 3 children ). We spent time playing outside in the spacious yard enjoying the snow, cooking in the kitchen, and playing a lot of games! Location was perfect because it was a quiet neighborhood but close to everything! Tammy is an incredible host! Tammy was more than accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed. She always responded quickly to any questions we had. 10/10 we would stay again and are planning on it!
