This warm and comfortable home is located in an appealing residential neighborhood yet is (almost-literally) right across the street from St. Mary’s Hospital. Walking, you are 2-3 minutes from the hospital and 5-7 minutes from Fresh Thyme grocery shopping, several nice restaurants, a wonderful little bakery, a pub, coffee shop, and more. The only thing we didn’t find within a few minutes’ walk was an economical grocery store. Expensive groceries, including wine and spirits, are close by though. The home itself met all of our needs for warmth and comfort. It’s familiar and visually appealing, not fancy. It has all of the modern conveniences, including solid internet service. The kitchen is very small, but we found it to be up-to-date and well-equipped. Laundry machines are not on the main living level and require confidence with going up and down a set of stairs. We were very comfortable both night and day in this home, and the location was amazing for an extended visit to St. Mary’s Hospital. Denise, our host, was easy to reach by text and is clearly genuine in her desire to provide a true home away from home to guests.

Communication with host was top notch!! The place is beautiful as listed!! I was a little worried when we got there that the garage access is through a back alley if a snowstorm came. Well snowstorm came but the plows even cleared the back alley and snow removal services are included the guys with the snowblowers came through each time is snowed! The house is very clean, updated, and cozy with comforting decorations also! Walking distance to St Marys so you could drive the patient and drop them off and get back to the house and parked almost as quick as paying for parking in the garage at the hospital. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Mayo! Wish I could give more than 5 stars!

We could not have asked for a better experience. My wife had major surgery at St Mary’s and the location could NOT have be better. Less than 300 steps from door to door. House was just as described and perfect for our nearly 2 week stay. We will book again for our follow ups. Thank you so much.

This house was very clean, had everything needed for your stay. Perfect location if you are in Rochester for the Mayo Clinic. The WiFi worked great and the owner was super accommodating and very nice.

My husband and I rented this property for 6 nights while getting care at Mayo Clinic. It is very clean, cozy, and convenient to St. Mary's. The kitchen is small, but it has everything you need to cook meals in which we did every night. There are plenty of dishes, pots, pans, cutting boards, knives, etc. The beds have nice linen and are very comfortable. You can easily and safely access the lighted walkway to St. Mary's from the alley which is behind the house and then cross the street to the hospital. It is literally a 2-3 minute walk. Also, shuttles run from the main entrance of St. Mary's to the downtown Mayo buildings every 20 minutes or so with a couple of quick stops along the way at the Transplant Houses and the Ronald McDonald House. The side yard has a nice outdoor sitting area with four chairs and a table which we used quite a bit. The helicopter pad to St. Mary's is right behind the house so you can hear the helicopters, but it didn't bother us at all. We actually enjoyed watching them land and take off from St. Mary's. Our appreciation for the work the flight nurses and pilots do grew immensely as we observed many emergency flights. Denise goes above and beyond. There were Clif Bars and granola in a basket on the table we arrived. This was very welcoming and very much appreciated after a long day of driving and appointments with no time to go to the store in between. Fresh Thyme is within walking distance, but Hyvee is only a couple of miles away and easy to find. The neighborhood is very safe with people walking all the time. Denise was readily available when we had a small problem with the thermostat the first night. In the morning, I texted her and she had it taken care of immediately. We will definitely stay here again!

Great property, excellent location if you are visiting st Mary’s at Mayo. Great communication with host, the only issue we had was the duvet covers had not been washed and one of them was visibly dirty. Other than that the property was clean.

The property lived up to and surpassed its advertisement. Close to St. Mary’s Hospital was what we needed, and we were able to easily. walk to the hospital. The property is clean and well maintained, and the kitchen well stocked with dishes and utensils. We highly recommend this property.

We rented this lovely little home for our out of town family when they came for a long weekend. It was perfect for them and so cozy. The owner was AWESOME!!! Very accommodating and easy to reach. Thank you for making it feel like home for our guests!! We were a bit jealous that we couldn't stay, too!!

The house was as pictured, clean, and very close to Mayo Clinic which is why we were there. I would gladly stay again for any future visits.

We had a great stay! The House was very close to the hospital (across the street, can see the emergency room entrance from the yard). There was a lighted pathway to get to the hospital in the dark. Very nice yard with deck. House was very clean and furniture was comfortable. We will book again when we need to stay close to St Mary’s. Thank you!
