The best part of Villa del Playa's penthouse is the rooftop patio overlooking the Caribbean Sea. The plunge pool and lounge chairs are the perfect way to relax all day in complete privacy and tranquility. A new sectional couch and umbrella for shade you may never want to leave the roof! A BBQ grill and bar area lets you stay up on the roof all day, grilling up some lunch and stirring some cocktails to enjoy poolside. With a full bathroom and plenty of space to sit in shade or sun, the rooftop will quickly become your favorite spot! The entire Villas Del Playa complex has filtered and potable water throughout so you can vacation with the peace of mind that your water and ice is nice and clean. Being a small 6-unit condo complex, Villa del Playa offers the amenities of a resort without the crowds. Enjoy parking space behind the villa, beautifully maintained grounds, a small palapa on the beach, and a private dock out front. We also have on-site kayaks available for your use. Take them out to the nearby colorful reef to explore the vibrant coral and abundant marine life. Great Beachfront location. Penthouse #5 with the rooftop setup is awesome. Would suggest a daytime arrival if you've never been to the condo before, hard to find at night...

We loved staying at the condo. It was comfortable, clean and very spacious. We had everything we needed in the home including a pack n play for the baby as requested. The beach is beautiful and calm. We really enjoyed the rooftop pool and kitchen. I would definitely recommend this to other families! The walk to town is short and easy. Everyone was kind and welcoming. We got to see monkeys and sloths too!

We came to Roatan for a week of diving and we had the most amazing time at the property! Close walking distance to all the restaurants and shops in west end, short boat taxi to west bay. We loved cooking on the rooftop and hanging in the plunge pool after a day of diving. Would definitely return!

Overall pleased.
Property needs some Maintenance. No water pressure, AC first night was not cooling. Ceiling fans not balanced and noisy. TV Picture quality was poor.

Everything about this place was awesome... Close enough to walk to everything, but just far enough to be quiet. Sunsets from the rooftop were absolutely epic every night. The condo itself was super clean and comfy. The AC at this place was unrivaled compared to any of our friends condos and was our saving grace more than a few times. There's an amazing little beach bar next door (Tita's) and a little dive shack that will line up whatever they can for you. We only had 3 of us this time but could easily handle more... This spot was a few more bucks than others we looked at but was worth every penny! Will be back 100%

Great location and property
Best access to west end and a water taxi ride to west bay. Lots of great restaurants in walking distance. Complimentary Kayaks and SUP boards was a plus! Pools and grounds were nicely kept. Inside place was clean and had everything you need! Will be back. A+++

Amazing place
The condo was perfect for our family of 5. The location was exactly what we wanted--walking distance from everything but yet quiet and more secluded at the condo. The rooftop kitchen was wonderful. We will definitely be back!

Villa Del Playa
This is my 4th time here it’s come to be one of our favorite vacation spots. The house layout is perfect for the 4 of us offering comfort for everyone. Snorkeling & diving everyday and lots of places to dine. I’m sure we’ll be back.

We enjoyed our stay in Roatan. This property is clean and convenient. We loved walking to the shops and restaurants. We loved snorkeling out on the reef. The kayaks were so handy. The rooftop pool was amazing.

He helped us with everything from saving money on booking trips to the smallest of when I got sick he went to store and got me his home remedy to try and help us get better. Which to us was beyond his job description and many more things he did to make sure we enjoyed our stay So if you stay in any of the condos here I highly recommend getting to know Eldon ....... If we could have we would have brought him back to the US with is LOL

We had about 8 people with us for a week and had more than enough room in the Penthouse #5. Beautiful Property inside and out. Eldon the caretaker was very friendly and helpful with everything. He helped us with everything from saving money on booking trips to the smallest of when I got sick he went to store and got me his home remedy to try and help us get better. Which to us was beyond his job description and many more things he did to make sure we enjoyed our stay So if you stay in any of the condos here I highly recommend getting to know Eldon ....... If we could have we would have brought him back to the US with is LOL

The 3rd floor was actually easy to get to going up the south side, straight up with space at the 2nd floor for a rest if necessary. There was also an aluminum gate at the 3rd floor that could be locked if you were concerned with that. The spiral stairs up to the Penthouse deck were a bit tricky, but once up there it was a beautiful setting. The bedrooms were very nice. Nice tile. Good kitchen. Basically we really enjoyed it. It was a walk from town. On the other hand it was a good calorie burner. Plenty of mangoes while we were there, which made for some interesting drinks, and homemade bbq sauce. We did not get in either pool as we were diving most days and had plenty of water time. Overall we had a great visit. Definitely will be going back. Good folks in the West End of Roatan.

Loved it so much we just booked for next year!
Overall impression, just what the doctor ordered! We loved the condo, plenty of space for seven of us and the rooftop patio, pool and kitchen are great. We spent way too much time up there just hanging out! The location is perfect. Just a short walk into West End down the beach. Water taxi's will pick you us from the dock in front of the condo if you want to go to West Bay. The condo has everything you need, Wi-Fi, laundry, purified water from the tap, beach towels and travel sized shampoo and soap in every bathroom. Air conditioning worked well. The condo is maintained well but is older so shows some ware and tear. Nothing that would affect your stay. Would I book again? Yes, most definitely! In fact I already did for 2020!

Perfect
This was a perfect place to stay for our family. Great roof, where we enjoyed sunrise and sunset as well as tremendous walkability to West End restaurants with super easy access to West Bay on water taxis.

Amazing Views in West End.
Great place to stay with a group. We had 5 people and had more then enough space for everybody. The rooftop pool/kitchen area was awesome! We spent a lot of time up there. The management company was great and handled all of our needs. Nice location just on the edge of west end. The kayaks they provided were great and used a lot by us. There is a dive site called "Blue Channel" on the reef directly in front of the condo (swimming distance) which was super fun to snorkel. Would definitely recommend for families or groups of friends.

Really beautiful home and spectacular location
Villas del Playa #5 was all we thought it would be and more. We spent a lot of time in both pools and we especially enjoyed the private rooftop pool. Being on the beach we were charmed by the sunset each night and the beautiful Caribbean Sea. The 2 minute walk into town along the beach was idyllic. The home was spacious and the kitchen had all the tools we needed. There were 5 of us, and there were plenty of towels, hot water for showers, and chairs to enjoy the breezes. Several mornings we were greeted by a spotted eagle ray hunting for his breakfast in the shallows as we ate our breakfast on the balcony. It was the perfect relaxing vacation rental, just what we needed!

PERFECT FOR FAMILY WITH TEENS.
We absolutely loved our stay at Villa de Playa #5. The rooftop patio was our favorite part. We started our day up on the roof with coffee and ended each day watching the sunset. The unit is showing a little wear and tear- nothing a fresh coat of paint wouldn't improve. We would return in a heartbeat. We had a chef named Jenni come to the house one night and she was the highlight of our trip. She was fun and friendly and cooked enough food to feed us for 3 meals. We would highly recommend this unit to everyone.

Incredible location and views
Really enjoyed our stay...condo was very nicely furnished and very clean...staff was there to help whenever we had a question or request...rooftop kitchen was incredible. We will be coming back for sure.

Beautiful beach and condo!
This was our 4th trip to the island and we've stayed a different place every time we come. I think we may have found our "home" in this unit. It is clean, has everything you could need, and it is just a couple minutes' walk to everything that the West End has to offer. The staff was wonderful and very helpful to us during our stay. We can't wait to come back!

This property is extraordinary!
This property has all the amenities. It is in a PERFECT location. Some of the most beautiful snorkeling in the world just off the shore. My husband and I took 4 teenagers and it was an ideal property. It is safe, well cared for, and a close walk to West End with awesome restaurants and shops. We will definitely go back!

Great Location with all the amenities!
We had a group of 6 people, 3 couples. We were very pleased with our choice of accommodations. Penthouse #5 is spacious and clean. It supplied us with all the amenities necessary to make our stay very comfortable. The check in and check out process was extremely easy. The views from this villa, especially from the roof top were spectacular and we loved our private pool. Eldon the caretaker was very helpful should you need him but otherwise kept his presence discreet. The beach was nicely kept and the reef a ways out of the beach was fabulous for snorkeling. The provided Kayaks were a nice bonus. We loved the fact that we could easily walk to the West End or take a quick water taxi ride to West Bay. We all agree that if we return to Roatan that we wouldn't hesitate to once again rent Penthouse #5.

Perfect!
Perfect penthouse condo! Perfect location! Just a five minute walk into town. Perfect rooftop terrace with full kitchen, private pool and bathroom. Perfect sunset views. Perfectly comfortable and clean accommodations in the condo. Eat and fish with Roatan Anglers which is just 3 doors down towards town (Cynthia can really cook). Make sure you go into town on Friday evening/night. The whole island shows up and the local food is amazing and everyone is so very friendly. Ask the locals where to buy the “corn rice” made with coconut milk, best dessert on the island.

The house is amazing. Not another house like it.
Property was well maintained. The caretaker was very polite and helpful. Anything we needed we had. The neighbors were awesome too, they cooked for us a couple nights. If you want the best house on Roatan stay at Villa del Playa unit #5. It has a full sized craps table where unit 6 does not. Keep that in mind when booking. All staff very helpful. Will be back.
