this is a queen bed in a private home. Octavio is a fabulous host, made sure everything was comfortable

nothing to dislike, just know you are in a local neighborhood, in a peaceful home across the street from local beaches.

Host was really nice and helpful. Perfect location when you want to visit Isla Mujeres, you can easy reach the port by walk.

We loved staying here as it felt like being in a very relaxing and welcoming home with friendly people which was a nice change from the usual more cold bnbs. The best thing was that we were right outside an amazing more local beach, we went in the morning and there was barely anyone there - we felt very lucky, we also went to a top seafood restaurant as recommended to us which had a beautiful view. We only stayed one night for practicalities but definitely could have stayed more- worth it if you are looking for somewhere a little less touristy.

Fantastic hosts, very accommodating and close to the beach

Getting there from airport was expensive in a cab (MX$1100, after bargaining). Bus options were full for several hours--wish I had thought to pre-book a bus.

Such a lovely owner! She made me feel very welcome, even though my flight was delayed and I didn't make it to the property until 3am! A lovely calm home very close to the ferry port to Isla mujeres and in a quiet area. And with a friendly pet dog!

Of course the room is not very flash, but that is absolutely in keeping with the price. I really enjoyed my stay!

The room is nice and Abril and her son are so kind. They answered all my questions and recommended me some things to do.

The one person room I had was much smaller than expected. it says 12 m2 which is incorrect.

the hosts are amazing, so friendly and helpful and you feel immediately like part of the family. the food is amazing, never had better original Mexican food.

The staff, Octavio and his mother have been super kind, I even got a lift to the bus station for the airport and wasn't asked for money.

The bathroom fittings are a bit old but no big deal, they were working.

Octavia n abril are simply the kindest caring supportive hosts weve ever ever had. The home is clean adorable homely and very safe and secure. Beer on arrival and taxi runs by abril we cant thk u enough.

It was our first day in Mexico and thanks to Octavio and his mommy, it was the best first day we could ever imagine. They introduced us to Cancun and helped us with everything we needed. Big recommend. Thank you for amazing welcome.

The house is only 5 minutes walk from the departures by ferry for Isla Mujeres. The owner and his son are very helpful and kind (they speak also English).

The owner and her son were so friendly and kind. I was offered a cold beer on arrival and my room had everything I needed (towels, shampoo, adapter, fan) plus I had use of the outside space to relax.

I did get a little confused as the casa was in a private residential area and you needed to call the owner to be allowed in and I didn't have a Mexican SIM card but my taxi driver called the number and her son came to meet us and carried my bag!

Didn't have air condition

Avril was very nice and helpful. She invited me into her house and made me feel at home. It is a nice and peaceful place, away from the city center. It’s near to the beach, some restaurants and supermarkets. She picked me up from the airport and took me to the busstation.

I was warmly met by the Abril at the airport, it was a great introduction to Mexico, her house was lovely decorated with her art and many plants that her and her son Octava cherished, they are truly beautiful people, always offering home made cake & to help in anyway possible.

The room was hot upstairs despite having two fans and the water pressure was very light in the shower

it was a very comfortable home stay accommodation. Felt like staying with family and it was safe.

The room is very small but worked fine for me, a small woman.

wonderful guesthouse, the family who runs that place are very professional and kind, the place is clean and beautiful near the beach and the ferry’s station to go Isla Mujeres

the only thing I didn’t like in the property is that we can’t cook even there is a kitchen
