With access to a shared pool, hot tub, and other resort amenities, as well as a bright and welcoming interior, amazing sea views, and room for everyone, you may never want to leave. In an unbeatable location just steps from the sand, this house makes it easy to spend your days lounging on the beach. Take a three-mile drive down the Bluewater Highway and hike the coastal Kelly Hamby Nature Trail, or head up to Galveston for dining, shopping, historic homes, and fascinating museums. THINGS TO KNOW Starting September 5, 2023, Pointe West Resort will be conducting maintenance on the elevators. During this period, certain elevators will be unavailable for a few weeks. Beach Club bands will be $25 per guest over three years old to access all amenities. This fee is charged by the POA of Pointe West and is payable at the Beach Club. Due to local rules and regulations, there are certain restrictions around the pool occupancy and times of use. No reservations are required, but occupancy is limited to a first come, first serve basis up to 50% occupancy. Specific information will be provided after you book. The on-site restaurant/cafe is no longer available. This home's elevators are not consistently reliable. If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the nightly pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting "Yes" to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The nightly fee ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 3 vehicles. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit. More information can be downloaded from the "Rental Agreement" on the checkout page. Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 21 years of age to book. Guests under 21 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation. Newer condo, well appointed kitchen, comfortable beds, great view. Elevator did not work the entire time we were there. We repeatedly sent messages and inquiries to no avail. We had a 78 year old with us who needed the assistance and therefore had limited mobility.

Check in was miserable. Multipile codes did not work over 45 min of trying. Finally got combination to key . Vacasa was not very responsive & unprofessional. Never have this problem w SandnSea & invariably they will allow check in as soon as unit is ready. Pretty sure 302 was ready by 3 & we got in at 5.

Condo was well appointed across the bedrooms, kitchen and bathrooms, with comfortable beds! Included parking, and the property has a fun common area with pool (note: $100 extra for wristbands).

The condo was as described. The location is nice bc it’s away from the tourism of Galveston, in fact, this particular condo is on the end of the property with very little movement. :)) The pier to the beach was fairly close. We never saw the pool, I’m sure it is centrally located on the property (that’s when a golf cart would come in handy). A friendly suggestion for the home would be to stock a few plastic cups/bowls/etc for children to use. And there are a few repairs I want to mention bc I’m not sure if there is anyone to let the owners know that these items need attention- 1: the water faucet in the kitchen is very loose 2: the towel rack in the small bathroom is down 3: there is a drawer pull on the chest in BR #2 that needs to be reattached. Please don’t let the above mentioned deter you from renting this condo. It is nice! I would definitely rent it again :))

We rent a home or condo every summer. This condo was perfect for the 3 of us. It is well equipped and comfortable. We always enjoy ocean views. It was disappointing that the restaurant and bar is closed and the pool doesn’t allow you to bring in your own. They had food trucks available but ONLY on the weekend so during the week you’re screwed. Of course this is not the condo owners fault at all, but the club’s policies affect the condo owners unfortunately. We brought lots of food and snacks and one night ordered pizza (FYI, Mario’s does NOT deliver to Pointe West) although they are listed on Pointe West information (not the condo owners fault) we had to drive 20 minutes there and 20 minutes back. I have nothing bad to say about the condo or location I’m ONLY disappointed in Pointe West as I said before we go EVERY SUMMER for the last 7 yrs. I would recommend this property to others, but definitely find out about the beach club and their policies and what’s available

Parking pass $30.00 didn't receive the bill for parking pass until our last night. The were no information left in the condo where to get parking pass or where the pool was located. Also no information left for restaurant. Other that it was a very clean place.

We visit Pointe West every year as our laid back, mini-vacation of the summer, and had to look for a new condo as our usual rental unit got sold. We had a great time at this property, it is very clean, has all you need to prep simple meals, TVs on every room, and is a very short walk to the beach. If you like basketball, the court is next door to the building. And, the balcony has nice furniture if you want to eat outside or simply enjoy the rocking chairs and watch the ocean. I would definitely stay here again, very happy with it.

The location was great for Galveston Beach. My family and I were very disappointed at the lack of cleanliness of the place. The floors were super dirty from the moment we walked through the door. The dishes were filthy and some of the wine glasses still had lipstick on them. The master bathroom had mold growing through it. The same information was reported through the Vacasa team.

We had a lovely stay for a long weekend at Pointe West! The condo is comfy and clean, beds were great. The kitchen was fully stocked for cooking meals. There was a supply of toiletries, paper towels, dish soap, etc Shirt walk to the beach and pool. The beach club was such a nice addition. The kids loved to end the day at the pool. Great stay at the beach! We would definitely stay here again!

The cleaning crew missed some things. The fridge and microwave were NOT clean and there was hair all on the floor. The view was amazing. The pictures did not do the place justice. The host were always available. We loved our stay.

The condo was clean and nicely furnished. There were several things that future renters would probably like to know however. The queen sized bed was lumpy and very uncomfortable. Also outside the window of that bedroom are two white lights. They are very bright and light up the room brightly at night. Between the lumpy mattress and brightly lit room, it was hard to sleep. It would be great if they would put a curtain in there. The outside deck had a nice view of the beach and ample places to sit. The condo is on the 3rd floor, which we loved. It was very windy while we were there. Along the roofline the rain gutter was only attached with two clips on each end. The gutter was very loose. The metal gutter banged against the boards of the building all day and all night. It was very loud and we were worried it would fall. We told the maintenance man about it and he said he would report it. We didn’t use the kitchen except for refrigerator but it looked adequately stocked. Overall we did have a good time and have used other condos at Pointe West before. Linda Jones

It is a great place to stay! It’s a short walk to the beach but the pool is too far to walk especially if you’re carrying towels and bags. Our air conditioning wasn’t working when we got there but it was fixed promptly the next day! We would definitely consider staying there again.

We really enjoyed our visit to Pointe West Beach Club! The condo was clean and very cute with a beach vibe. I will say the price for the required wrist bands is a bit steep for what you get. Other than that I would highly recommend!

This property is very well equipped, clean and comfortable. The owners have done a great job in providing a quality property. The only issue we had was that the washer appeared to continue to rinse in the spin cycle. Otherwise a perfect enjoyable stay.
