Situated in District of Columbia, this attractive condo for $278 per night is a great choice for your next trip. Come enjoy your home away on Capitol Hill. Located on a family friendly block with great neighbors, this apartment is centrally located in one of Washington, DC's oldest and most sought after neighborhoods. With Metro public transit (rail and bus) just 2 blocks away, you have access to explore this great city and get around with ease. At approximately 1000 sq. ft., the residence comfortably sleeps 4. We do have a 2 night minimum stay About the space: The apartment is fully furnished. All you need to do is show up. The bedroom has a queen bed with new mattress and box spring There is a sofa with pullout queen bed in the living room. The dining room table seats 6. There are 2 flat screen TVs (living room, bed room) with Netflix, cable channels, and access to local TV. The kitchen is fully equipped with toaster, blender, coffee maker, dishware, flatware, glassware and cookware. There is 1 full bathroom (shower/tub combo). Amenities: Washer and dryer Iron and Ironing Board Linens and towels Blankets Hair dryer Flat screen TVs Digital cable Hi Speed Internet Central heat and air conditioning Broom Board games Location: The apartment is situated within walking distance of the U.S. Capitol, numerous museums, restaurants and other attractions (almost all free). Choose between Potomac Avenue Metro (1 block away) or take an easy 5 block walk to the Eastern Market Metro(rail) or hop on the Metrobus at the end of the block, 13th St, SE. If you are driving, there is public street parking available on the block. (We can provide a visitor's pass) There is no shortage of restaurants to suit your taste all within a 4-5 block radius on Barracks Row.

This apartment is perfectly located, exceptionally decorate, spotless, and equipped with everything one could ask for and more. Daryl communicated clearly and was very helpful with recommendations for the area. I will be back!

This apartment was comfortable, clean and well-stocked. Not just the kitchen, but also plenty of pillows, towels and anything else you might need. The neighborhood was quiet and felt very safe, and just a few metro stops from everything we wanted to see. The owners were great-- friendly, helpful, very quick to respond to any questions or requests that we had. A great place to stay overall.

This VRBO Capital Hill property was perfect location. The Metro is an easy 2 blocks away and within 15 minutes you’re walking around the Mall and the Smithsonian Museums. Our host Daryl was great and available for any questions we had. We felt at home at their place and would highly recommend it.

Location is just the beginning of this wonderful property! It is so convenient to the Metro, grocery stores and restaurants. We were in the Washington DC area for almost a week and wanted a home base that would allow us to have a kitchen and living area. This property has that and so much more! This was one of the best stocked properties we’ve stayed in. The kitchen not only has all the kitchen necessities but also well stocked food staples for cooking. I’d really have to work hard to suggest any changes and we will definitely stay here again!!

Overall, a very pleasant stay with one drawback for you light-sleepers out there.
Great: immaculately clean, quiet street, easy parking, close to a very nice Safeway grocery, right around the block from a Metro station (takes you to the National Mall in less than 10 minutes), and The Roost (a shared-restaurant building with a variety of cuisines). Has all the amenities and comforts you could wish for. Owner has placed a helpful binder with lots of info, including easy check-out procedure.
Drawback: the bedroom seems to be located directly under the owner's kitchen, so there's quite a bit of noise generated around 7 in the morning. Doesn't last forever and some amount of noise is to be expected between floors in a townhouse but, as I am a light-sleeper, it jolted me awake two days running. Not a big enough deal to complain to the owner about and most people probably sleep through it but if you're a light-sleeper like me please be aware of it. Otherwise, it is very quiet during the night and I had NO problem getting enough sleep.

This home is fabulous. Like the many reviews before, it was VERY clean, kitchen/towels is well stocked and the main bedroom bed is super comfortable. The area itself is walkable to the train station, restaurants and eateries. Daryl was super helpful in welcoming emails and super friendly in person and in texts. Thank you Daryl, we hope to come back soon!

Nice place and Easy access, 10-15 minutes Uber ride to every place you wanted to visit. Owner (Darryl) was very helpful and available.
We had a very friendly city cat visiting us as well!

Myself, my husband and our two teen daughters stayed at this rental for 7 nights last week. Our overall review is that it is ever better than it looks online. The location was great for getting to the Metro every morning (Potomac Ave station about a 5 minute walk). There's also a nice Safeway grocery store a bit farther from there that was good for stocking the kitchen. The unit is spacious and was perfect for 4. It was nice to have a bedroom for the adults and then in addition to the pullout couch there was also a cot for our youngest, which was a nice surprise for the girls to not need to share. It was also super nice to have the laundry right on site and we came home with nearly all of our clothes clean which is great today as we unpack. Daryl is a great and very responsive host. He checked in on us periodically to see if we had questions or needed anything. The location felt very safe. The street of row houses was adorable. Check in and out were very simple and as expected. The unit was very clean and well stocked. If we're fortunate enough to return to DC we would definitely return to this rental.

Perfect location for our week long journey all around Washington, D.C. Apartment is within a few short blocks to the metro which got us everywhere! Friendly homeowners gave us lots of helpful tips and info. Place was clean and perfect for our family of 3.

This was a nice place for home base for our DC mini vacation: clean apartment, well-stocked kitchen, comfortable bed, quiet neighborhood and easy access to the Metro. If you are new to subway travel, give it a try. It was easier than I expected. We would definitely stay here again.

Rented this apartment for spring break with my kiddos (ages 14 and 8). We all loved it and my kids are talking about returning and renting from Mr Daryl again.
Communication and check in was extremely easy. We drove from IN so we took advantage of the parking pass. Mr Daryl even let us grab the pass early so we didn’t have to drive to the Capitol for our tour.
We used both the metro and Uber when we didn’t drive places. The location/neighborhood is super convenient! You walk to the end of the block and can see the Capitol. Harris Teeter grocery is a mile away and we ate as some of the restaurants close by. The metro station is an easy 5 minute walk from the apartment with 3 lines running.
The apartment was clean and well stocked for us to make breakfast daily. Mr Daryl was so nice and even had a small supply of items you might need that you forgot (loved the spray and wash)!
We use VRBO often and the friendliness and communication from Mr Daryl is super easy and not to mention how helpful and kind he is!
When back in DC will definitely plan to stay again!

In town to see relatives, we found this place one to which we would gladly return. Nicely sized , tastefully decorated, equipped with everything we needed including washer and dryer and fine kitchen. Charming fireplace. Terrific hosts. Walk to everything neighborhood. This place has it all.

This apartment was just beautiful. It looks exactly like the pictures. We really enjoyed our trip to DC. If your looking for a place to stay that is cheaper than a hotel, this is it. Convenient to shopping and eating. Daryl and Daphane were very nice. We will be back. I give this apartment a 5 star.

This is a lower level duplex complete with everything you'll need for your visit to Washington DC.. Ideally located close to the Capital, grocery store, subway, various restaurants. Landlord lives upstairs. We'd highly recommend this great one bedroom unit.

Hosts were amazing communicators. They accurately described the property and location. We were then surprised with all the comforts of home away from home! Coffee maker, coffee & sugar!! Enough towels for all 3 of us . A free pass for on street parking was a HUGE bonus which saved us a lot of money. Super clean & with alot of natural light. Highly recommend.
