2nd visit to this property. Highlights are large well equipped kitchen, living room area with large fire place, large basement with ping pong and other entertainment. Excellent communication with Owner/property manager.

We really appreciated this house with its nice layout and amenities. We were 9 people, teens and up, and there was plenty of room for everyone to find a quiet space or spend time together. The game room in the basement was really fun, especially since we had some rainy days. We also enjoyed the fire pit on the dry days, and the starry night skies. The house is very private but many things are close by. Be sure to check out Dutton's Farm Stand! We enjoyed cooking in the large, well-appointed kitchen. We found plenty of things to do in the area: hiking, shopping, sightseeing. Bring your swimsuit for water holes in area streams! The hosts were extremely responsive. The only improvements we would suggest are more silverware and more small plates and another dining room chair or two.

Getaway with extended family
Our family of 4 plus 3 adult family members had a wonderful stay here. We had more than enough space to spread out when someone needed to do a little work or we needed time to relax. The kitchen is well-equipped and I loved all of the workspace the island provided. The game tables in the basement were a hit during our downtime. We had 2 clear nights that were perfect for star gazing, and we really appreciated being away from light pollution to see the Milky Way and shooting stars! The only potential downside for some visitors is the length/grade of the gravel driveway. While AWD is absolutely necessary in the winter, I would say it's helpful year-round in the event of heavy rain. Kevin was great to work with via phone and text!

Wonderful family vacation
The home was beautiful and everything that the listing said, we were very familiar with the area since my parents had owned a home about 3 miles away.
It was a fabulous trip down memory lane for me and my three adult children with their children.
As an added bonus we found Emerald Lake just a bit north of Manchester and is was a beautiful place for the little ones to go into the water, my 5 grandchildren were there and the oldest was 4 so being at a lake was number one on our priority list.
If we do the same type of vacation next year this home would be our pick.

We absolutely loved this place. Plenty of room for all 8 of us to be in one room together, or to spread out for individual space too. We loved the great room, the screened-in porch, and the kitchen had everything well-stocked. The property is nicely tucked away in the woods and you cannot see any other houses nearby. We loved the seclusion and yet the property had plenty of room for our dog to stretch her legs. The road up to the property is gravel & fairly steep- we had no issues since it was July, but I would absolutely want an AWD vehicle if I rented here in the winter.
Manchester, Stratton and Bromley are all pretty close by for any shopping, dining or activities you want! It did rain quite a bit but we had plenty to do indoors- we built a few fires in the fireplace and the house became very cozy. The WiFi connection was great- some in our party worked remotely from here a few days with no issues. We had a terrific time overall and would love to rent here again! Kevin was very kind, answered all of our questions and even gave us recommendations on nearby things to do. Thank you, Kevin!

Heavenly on the Hill
Beautiful mountain home close to all - skiing, shopping, dining. The house is aces - amazing chef's kitchen, gorgeous fireplace, two suites, plenty of room for play and for relaxation. It snowed almost every day - the property was so peaceful. 4WD vehicle recommended for winter visits - the driveway is no joke to drive, but awesome for sledding. Fabulous property matched by the attentiveness and kindess of the hosts. We will definitely be back!

Tremendous week. Plenty spacious but cozy. Amazing living room with large fireplace . Kitchen and dining room allowed for informal family gathering and plenty of chefs! Basement provides a whole different kind of fun. Well located but plenty of privacy. We’ll be back!

Our group of 8 adults and 3 kids stayed at this property for a long weekend. The house is very spacious, the fireplace was nice and cozy, and the kitchen was huge and great for cooking. The location was close to Stratton, Bromley and downtown Manchester, as well as some lovely farms and hiking trails. The only thing that put a damper on our stay was the cleanliness of the house (which is a reflection of the cleaners, not the owner). Kevin was incredibly responsive, accommodating, and understanding, and even had the cleaner come back the day after we checked in. Unfortunately there just seemed to be a discrepancy in what the cleaners considered to be “clean”, which was stressful, particularly during Covid. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay and that beautiful little corner of Vermont.

Wonderful stay
We had a wonderful time. Kevin was immediately responsive and helpful. The house was comfortable and spacious for a group of 10. The kitchen is great, large and well equipped . The three season porch was delightful for our summer stay. The basement was a fun play space for kids. We were happy that there were no mosquitoes. And the wifi was excellent, more reliable than in our apartment in New York.

House was warm & inviting with plenty of room for our party of 12. Clean, spacious, 8 min to Bromley🎿 & 15 to a Manchester 🍽🍻.
Kids loved the game room & board games & books were a nice touch.
Our only suggestion would be to have a large TV in the basement.
Thank you!

Winhall Wonderland
What a great way to ring in the new year! The house was everything my family could've asked for and more. Perfectly situated between Stratton & Bromley Mountains made it a great option for the skiers in our group! Couldn't have asked for better, more attentive owners as well. Overall great trip!

Stayed long weekend 9/12-9/15
The house is exactly as advertised, and then some. We rented with a group of 10-12 adults in mid September and it was exactly what we were looking for.
The houses pictures did the size of this house any justice. Plenty of room for a good sized group between all of the bedrooms and the huge basement.
I would honestly have no criticisms of this property. You definitely won’t be disappointed, well worth the price compared to similar properties.

I love this house!
I can't say enough good things about this house and the overall property. The house is large but feels quaint at the same time. Our family enjoyed the large kitchen with quality appliances, two master suites and plentiful bathrooms. The beds were very comfortable with fresh linens provided. Stone fireplaces, hardwood floors and post and beam construction added to the ambiance of our Vermont family vacation in the Green Mountains.
Outside, there was plenty of parking on the gravel driveway and our yellow lab enjoyed roaming the yard safely off leash; something she does not get to do at home.
The firepit area could have been cleaned up a bit with some pruning and "light" landscaping including natural stone as a fire pit ring instead of cinder block. This is my only constructive suggestion i thought of while enjoying the awesome fire under the incredible milky way!
Rent this vacation home - you will not be disappointed!

Splitting the Difference
The location of the house is absolutely perfect! It's almost directly in the middle of Manchester Center and Stratton Mtn. We spent our days skiing Stratton and our evenings out to dinner in Manchester. The views, decor, layout and everything in between suited our 3 couples and 4 kids to perfection. Kevin was awesome to work with and communicated everything we needed to know ahead of time. If you are looking for a mountain retreat that has plenty of room to spread out and easy access to the local fare than this is the place for you.

Beautiful home, great hosts, and great location near Bromley
We had a wonderful 3 night stay with three families (5 adults, 7 kids). We had plenty of room and could've easily added a 4th family to the house. The owners were great and very responsive to all of our questions leading up to the trip and were highly responsive to address anything during our stay. The common spaces were great and the kids loved the downstairs game area (foosball, ping pong and areas to run around). The sauna was a nice touch after a day on the mountain - there is a reset switch that the owner kindly helped us resolve. The house is about a 6-7 minute drive from Bromley, which is very convenient and a very family friendly mountain that doesn't get the crowds of some of the bigger mountains like Stratton/Killington. There were some sleds at the house for the kids (and the adults) - we had fun sliding down the driveway.
The driveway for the home is very long and in some spots steep making it a little challenging to drive with snow or ice on the surface - the 4WD/AWD or Front Wheel drive (with a good pair of snow tires) vehicles did not have any issues getting up or down. One of our vehicles was a rear-wheel drive suburban and it could not make it up to the house - the homeowner helped coordinate their snow removal contractor to come out to help replow and direct where to park the vehicle that couldn't make it up the driveway.
Thanks for a great stay!

Great gathering house. Very responsive hosts.
Three families shared this house for a ski weekend in VT. We had plenty of space. The kitchen was perfect for our group. The fire place in the large living room was great, as it was a very cold and snowy weekend. The kids (and adults) loved the ping pong, darts, foosball and TV in the basement!

Columbus Day Week-end
Our long week-end was great. The house was great and the Mayer's were very accommodating and helpful. The house was one of the nicest that we have rented through VRBO. Our large crew was very comfortable as there was more than ample space. There was an obvious attempt to stock the house with whatever might be needed.. The kitchen was well equipped and allowed us to do breakfast and dinner at home. The location is very convenient to both Bromley and Stratton, and a relatively short drive to Manchester and Londonderry. Having a good ping pong table and foosball was an added extra plus for our younger ones
