It's quite far from the town but I think it's because of the bad road to get to the village. However, the view of Mt. Kinabalu & Mt. Nungkok in the morning make this place worth the travel.

The facilities could be upgraded in terms of cleanliness.

Amazing location. the host was incredibly helpful when we were trying to get a BBQ going. comfy beds

The bathroom facilities were very basic, but that’s what you’d expect when you’re in a remote location

Located at Kampong Tambatuon, the homestead face a very nice river and bridge. The kampong is beautiful and Mount Nungkok can be seen at a distance. Fresh air with insects.

No toilet paper and no towel provided. The water heater is not working and the blanket is just a thin sheet of cloth. Got mozzies too.

The customer service is good and the place is comfortable.

This is basic accomodation but the location makes up for any lack of luxuries.

Tambatuon is basic but functional. The location is off the beaten track and so best be prepared with food etc as shops are few and far between. (there is a little shop on site though never used it). I was the only person on the homestead at the time but found the local people friendly and helpful. There is a large sized kitchen if you want to cook.

Tambatuon is a bit like posh camping and so wont suit everybody. It is functional ie bed, shower, loo and kitchen. A car is essential to cope with the 3km drive to the valley floor. It was a work in progress with building work being completed whilst I was there, but for me that wasn't a problem.
