I would say that we have never stayed in a more beautiful spot! The views of the mountains are spectacular and the house is comfortable. It would have been nice to have a detailed map of how to get to the property. We were a bit lost! Fortunalutx is a beautiful village and we hope to return!

Plus: Lage, schönes Haus, großes Grundstück, Schöner Pool, Aussicht. Minus: Mäßig ausgestattete Küche mit Espressotassen aber ohne Maschine oder Kanne, keine Spülmaschinentabs, Müllsäcke, Spülschwamm etc,, Fernseher in der Größe eines PC Monitors, nur uralte (mit Kassettenrekorder) einfache Minianlage, mäßig gepflegter Garten, Poolreinigung nur auf telefonische Bitte, keine Spiele, DVD, Musik CD, kein Infomaterial für Mallorca. Insgesamt lieblos gemacht. Wir kennen das anders von anderen Objekten.

We've just come back from a wonderful week in Fornalutx where we had the most relaxing holidays. The house is wonderfully located and extremely well equipped and decorated, the views from the garden are amazing and the pool and its terrace superb. We cannot wait to come back! This is a beautiful villa in breathtaking mountains, with amazing views over the Sóller valley and an awesome pool. The three bedrooms are comfortable, the main living space open and airy and the kitchen very well equipped (things like foil, washing-up liquid etc are all there which are sometimes missing at other properties). I would think that you would struggle to find such an amazing villa in the area for the property price. Being a stereotypical Englishman, my language skills are poor at best (and I was a little nervous that this would be an issue as the host is not listed as speaking English). However, despite claiming not to speak English well, Pauline was excellent and communication was good. However, I would recommend knowing a little Spanish if possible. The WiFi was strong as was phone signal (in case these matter to you). The two things to be mindful of: 1) you are up in the Mountains and despite what other reviews say, it’s a 15 min walk into the village of Fornalutx (this is beautiful by the way). It’s down and then up a steep valley and in 35 degree heat- this can be tough. Not an issue for us but be aware if you have young kids etc. 2) the drive up to the property is very tricky (easily the hardest road I’ve ever driven). It’s up a steep narrow track, with a drop on one side and a wall on the other. It is not a drive for the faint hearted. If you hire a car to get here (which you’d have to ) take the extra insurance and hire an automatic. That way, you will worry less if you do scrape it and the clutch control will be easier. Overall, amazing and very reasonably priced to say you’re in such a beautiful area. Would love to go back.

This property is in a stunning location with fantastic views to Sóller. There are 3 bedrooms, we were a party of 4 and plenty of room for us. The property has quite a few steps, but very clean and ac excellent. We had a great holiday, thank you.

Nice house in the mountain area of Mallorca. Fresh mountain air and an excellent base to explore the island. Car is required! The house has a nice garden with orange trees so every morning you can have juice fresh from the trees. Nice big bathroom & electrical heating which is very comfortable during the cool evenings/mornings. Owners were flexible giving us a couple hours flexibility checking out so we also good sleep in heading to the airport later to catch our pm flight.

Merveilleusement bien placé pour visiter la Serra Tramuntana et la côte ouest de l'île. Tout confort, belle vue sur la vallée de Soller, grand calme. Rien à dire cette location est parfaite. A recommander fortement. Juste une petite précision quand même, le chemin pour accéder à la maison est très compliqué (dénivelé forte, peu large) : à éviter si vous venez avec un véhicule de type 9 places, fourgon.

My wife, two kids (aged 7 & 9) and I spent two blissfull weeks in this haven of tranquility. The house is in an idylic spot with mountain views to three sides and only a short walk to the lovely village of Fornalutx. Outside is lovely, with plenty of space, lots of plants and huge gnarled olive trees...and a friendly donkey in the neighbouring fields! Inside has everything you might need. The owner is lovely and quick to respond to any questions or issues. We'll be back when we can!

The pool is excellent and the garden is big with some beautiful trees. We would love to come back again.

We have just had a lovely stay in Fornalutx at your beautiful home, the house is great for families, there is loads of room and the outside space and pool are excellent. We will certainly consider staying at the house again, we have stayed at many in the area and this was one of the best.

The House is beautiful and with everything you need for a perfect holiday. We were 6 adults and a baby and everyone enjoyed the stay. The views are fantastic with mountains and orangetrees, and the small village Fornalutx is in walking distance, with a bakery and supermarket, cafes and restaurants. We were seven peoole staying together in this beautiful house - me, my husband, our three kids (who are young adults) the son's girlfriend and my mother. Everybody loved this stay. The young ones vere delighted to have a pool (and the pool was even better than on the pictures). Personally my favourite spot was the tranquil veranda where you could sit in the shade and watch the fantastic view over Sóller and the orange trees. We walked to Fornalutz every day to have icecream, coffee or dinner. We also walked to Sóller and we took the bus to Port de Sóller. Sometimes we took a taxi. Everything worked fine. The owner and the neighbours were very helpful. The house had everything you might need and the whole area is truly lovely. A perfect stay. /Annette
