There was a bed with a fridge in room and a bathroom.

The room was right next to the reception desk and there was no soundproofing in the door whatsoever. so every time the phone rang loudly or the reception talked I could hear it like if the door was wide open, and it went on all night, which was the worst noise I have ever experienced in a hotel stay. I Had to put in headphones & play music to try to drown out the noise. There was no lock on inside of door which didn’t feel safe. The sides and bathtub were dirty. There was no on-site food & drink facilities. Not good value for money.

Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Slept well, surprisingly because we were right next to gatwick airport on a main road. Only oroblem i had was finding the entrance at night, sign was not well li Although it was room only, local food outlets delivered to the door All in all a good buy

The radiator was behind the curtain and they blocked a lot of the heat. It wasnt a problem i opened the curtains

Main road location very noisy. Reception is bad. Not inviting from the appearance or the staff. Outside is messy. There’s no loveliness in this hotel. Very basic.

The fact that my whole family could fit in the family room because having 2 teenagers and 2 toddlers usually if booking in hotels we would need two rooms. But here we were given a family room which was perfect for our early morning next day flight. Close to Gatwick airport. Had fridge in the room with some water bottles provided. Comfortable beds.

Well our room had no curtains in the bathroom and window in the bedroom broken One of the sockets didn't work Continental breakfast, poor And staff noted we wanted a taxi next day to train station and said that they would book it , nothing arrived so just made train to airport for flight !! .

Judging from the reviews on this site - which I hadn’t seen until after I’d booked and it was too late to cancel - I approached this hotel with fear & trepidation, expecting an infested cesspit! With such low expectations the hotel itself as a result wasn’t THAT bad, although no doubt it is in serious need of decoration & new beds. Bed sheets were clean though & the separate bathroom down the hall was fine. Guy on reception even offered to carry my suitcase up the two flights of stairs (NB. There’s no lift).

The biggest problem about staying here for me was actually the other people staying there. As it’s clearly just a place to bed down before/after an early flight, people are arriving ALL through the night. I was woken seemingly every 15-20 minutes all night long by people coming in or leaving unbelievably loudly with absolutely no consideration of others trying to sleep, slamming doors, talking loudly in the hallways, even letting their children scream and run about outside the bedrooms at 2am. My room was right at the top tucked away too so not exactly by the front door. My main complaint about the hotel itself was the poor, very old mattress meaning the bed was uncomfortable. All in all, had zero sleep here, though not entirely the hotel’s fault, so was a waste of money as I might as well have slept on the airport floor.

Location didn’t feel safe for a solo traveler and didn’t enjoy sharing a bathroom (only shared with one other room though)

I liked the location as it was very close to North Terminal, the bus stop is a two minute walk and it only took 10 minutes to get there. Perfect for an overnight stay.

Very dusty, the remote, desks and behind furniture I saw clumps of dusts, wasn’t very good for my asthma.

Exterior to property was beautiful and location to airport was great.

Room was small, no side light to bed or lamp for a dimmer light in evening/morning.

The room was a lot bigger than I expected! I thought for the price it would be smaller and darker, but was very bright and clean, with a large bathroom also

There was a lot of cars parked in the carpark, so finding parking was hard at first, but we were able to park later in the even, so was not too much of a problem

Not clean at all. Dirty cups, smelly bathroom, and oh yeah... USED, TORN BLACK PANTIES IN MY BED THAT WERE NOT MINE!!!!! In a bed that was meant to be cleaned and made up by housekeeping... thank God there was an extra bed to sleep in.

Rooms were spacious, it was clean.

Washroom need little repairing, thermostat of the shower was not working, so only hot water was coming. Washroom needs a new blinder 🙄 🙄🙄. If possible should have lift especially for rooms on top floor.

The staff were helpful and friendly and helped with our bags.

The room was acceptable. The cold tap was very temperamental and only sometimes worked and the toilet was super noisy. The bathroom light didn't turn off and the sliding door into it didn't close properly. A tip for anyone traveling from gatwick...We chose this hotel as a cheap option as we were traveling from the airport. After taking into consideration the taxi fair to and from the airport it would have worked just as cost effective to stay in a nicer hotel in the airport.
