Arriving there, we made a phone call and we were given instructions on how to get the keys. No contact with any person whatsoever. Got in the building, there was another flat on the top floor and one more on the lower floor. The flat was very bright and spacious and excellent for a bigger group. It had four big bedrooms and a large living room and a nice kitchen.

We booked this accommodation well in advance preparing for our wedding. Due to heavy rain in the area that caused unimaginable flooding we had to postpone our wedding and our plans changed within a night. We had multiple reservation all across the city of Trikala which was majorly affected and all other hosts and hotels gave us a full refund without any penalties due to the circumstances. We explained to the host on the phone that our guest would be unable to to even drive to the town of Kalambaka due to flooding on the major roads as well but all he cared was the money that he would lose. He told us to rebook the accommodation for another date so non of us would lose money. We tried to do so but the extra charges for two night in the beginning of December would be 650£ on top of the 330£ we had already paid. In a very calm and polite manner we spoke with him again and explained that what happened was beyond of our control and that we wouldn’t be able to rebook for such a high amount, he laughed and did not care. He kept mentioning that he would lose money due to the high cost of heating. Giving us a refund, even half of it since the accommodation would remain empty seemed absurd to him. Appalling behaviour and appalling service. At the end, myself and my future husband got the keys and stayed there one night, out of the two booked so we can give an honest review. Access to the property is through a rough road which is layed with gravel, a lower car would definitely not make it up the top. Clean and modern. Had everything we need. Very good value for money.

Only one air conditioner in the living. It was not too bad at night with fans in all room, but would have been useful to spell out in the description.

very big and clean house!!! right under the mountains! the view was stunning!

Property has very good facilities and has ample room for a large family. Great interiors and background scenery. Right outside of property one can get view of Meteora.

Approach road to the property is very rough and a small car can create problems if not carefully driven. It can loose traction on gravels. Also, near the property there were many stray dog as and cats and they come in you as soon as you get there. For this reason we could not enjoy outside of the property.
