it’s relatively cheap, it’s in the beautiful Harz nature area on a walking tour. it’s good Spartan accommodation if you are only looking for a bed for the night
it’s was not as nice as I expected (on a road, no lake view). hotel rooms are very basic, buildings sober. it’s far of villages etc (we were hiking) and on Mondays the restaurant is closed. During breakfast we asked for some hot water for on the road and we were charged one euro.

Location is great. Staff was very friendly. I had badly planned my stay and expected to find dinner in the area, but there was nothing opened on that day. The owner helped me out when he didn't have to, that was very nice of him!
