The pictures do not give this Villa justice, it is beautiful! We had an amazing time there! We were looking for rest and relaxation and that is exactly what we got!! Shamoir the cook was incredible! Sheryl was quick to respond to any questions we had! We will definitely go back!

From the moment I inquired about this property through the moment we had to leave, Sheryl was responsive and extremely helpful. The photos are accurate - this place is right on a large expansive beach with a clean pool and 2 covered sitting areas where we would eat meals. We were greeted by Dexton, our driver, arranged by Sheryl, who started our trip on the right note (after a lengthy airline delay). We thoroughly enjoyed Peter's hospitality - he lives on the property and is the groundskeeper and super helpful and lovely (but never intrusive) to be around. Shamar's cooking was not only supremely responsive to our requests but delicious and on our relaxed time table! Peter and Shamar arranged shopping trips with us and Shamar would pick up fish from the fishermen or a forgotten item or two from the market. The home was immaculate with lots of space to play games, dine or just hang out. Beds were unusually comfortable for a private vacation home and the bedrooms had individual air conditioning units that worked superbly (we even got "cold" at times!). It was a perfect spot for 7 or us who just wanted to relax on the beach, or by the pool, eat wonderful food prepared by someone else, and play family games, or read and relax. Thank you Sheryl, Dexton, Shamar, Peter and Dotta - our housekeeper The Smith Family, Boston MA

I had to wait a long time before I was able to give my family the vacation that they deserved. I wanted it to be PERFECT, i did an extensive online research of all the Islands in the Caribbean, the accommodations that they have to offer and the cost. My wife and I decided that the property that check all the boxes of what we were looking for, was VILLA SERENE. And then the adventure begin, Sheryl help us to coordinate the Chef that would prepare our meals, schedule an appointment with a doctor to get our covid test for our return trip and even offer transportation, which we didn’t need because I rented a car. We have kids with special needs, so we were looking for a place that was quite, secluded, were we could stay away from laud crowds and enjoy ourselves, Villa Serene offer that and way much more than what we were expecting. It is comfortable, spacious, safe, well maintain and located right on the beach, which is an understatement because in reality you have MILES of private beach were you only see a local to walk by from time to time, but remember Jamaica is an underdeveloped country so you won’t get the same WI-FI speed or cable service that you have in your country, but I don’t think you’re coming to Jamaica to watch TV or stay glue to your phone, you’re already doing that at home. What we weren’t expecting and made this trip more special was that we would fine new friends here, Peter, the ground keeper, is a gentle guy whose main priority is to help you with anything that you may need and to keep you safe. Shamoir, a hell of a Chef, he would cook not only the most delicious typical Jamaican dishes but anything else you may want, and is such a gentleman, he introduced me to our neighbor, Sam, a local fisherman who took us in his boat to the Pelican Bar and other beaches were we went snorkeling. And the house keeping ladies that we didn’t have the chance to meet because we were always out enjoying Jamaica culture and its people. I’m nothing but grateful with Sheryl and her team because they made our dream vacation come true. We’ll be back, as the Jamaicans said ONE LOVE.

As a woman who just buried her cousin & father within 1 week of arriving in JA, I was really looking forward to this trip as a means to clear my mind from everything that was going. We rented Villa Serene for the week so that my step-children & mother-in-law could all come to one location & spend some personal time together, especially since it was the first time I would be meeting them face to face. Villa Serene "could" be 5-star property if it were brought up to code (proper water/electric/plumbing/ airflow/ safety concerns and matches the description given on the website)! First and foremost, the onsite staff, Mr. Raymond & Ms. Kerry were absolutely amazing! They were helpful & tended to us & made our stay more tolerable. As for our experience with the property itself...sadly, it was the most terrible stay I have ever had! Starting from the next day we had issues with the water system (water barrels- inadequate water supply) & plumbing & this would last all week! The host even asked us to go around & monitor the toilets to see if they were leaking! The internet was always in & out & would be lucky if you had a signal, & hardly cable. The longes the cable stay connected was 30 mins before it cut out again. We had to connect a Roku just to watch tv. There were no Jamaican snacks, complimentary 1st-morning coffee, or blender. The a/c is only in the rooms as stated in the description, therefore the living room & kitchen are extremely hot! You have to open the doors to let in fresh air to circulate and if it's at night your competition is with the mosquitos. We were told the windows were "old" but what we should have been told is we can't open them because most of them won't close or open properly or will fall off the hinges! I say this property is not for foreigners because running water, steady internet/cable, airflow, electricity are all "must-have" inclusions & need to WORK! I felt my whole week of spending time with family was robbed & at times felt unsafe. Sheryl was sending someone to the property, supposedly, plumbers, electricians, cable men, "literally EVERYDAY", & violated our guarantee to privacy that is listed in the description. The overall vibe was that Sheryl was more interested in doing repairs on MY TIME, rather than waiting until we left & respected our privacy as a family so she could get the villa prepared for the next set of renters & has yet to respond to my concerns since we departed. It's just unacceptable.
