Good location, quiet and nice and clean. Looks like it is in the process of being upgraded.

The flow of water from the shower was very weak and the temperature haphazard. The oven was temperamental and only one ring got hot enough to cook on.

Being welcomed by a personal note was a good start. We slept in the renovated rooms (no.8). The room was not that big, but had al the facilities you should need for a stay. Very nice clean bathroom, good shower, clean crisp sheets on the Queensize bed. (Fast) Wifi worked very well.

Unfortunately the walls of the room are paper-thin and literally every small sounds of the next cottage (no.4) was hearable. The threshold of the connecting door was provisionally sealed with a sound cushion Despite our relaxed neighbors (senior couple, not being loud), every movement in the room, literally every word of their conversation, “toilet-sounds”, tv-sounds etc. were hearable. We asked the management for another cottage, because the reasons mentioned above, but unfortunately there was no clean one available. Also us were told that no one else had mentioned noise-issues ever before. This is not correct, according to recent feedback here on booking from January 2023. Because the sounds-issue’s, our stay was not very comfortable…:-(. We used ear-plugs during the night.

The room was absolutely spotless with cute little touches . Local to everything we needed by car , my partner loved the robe town brewery. I left some dresses in the wardrobe and the hosts posted them back to me in Melbourne ,excellent communication.

Flawlessly clean. Cute room and decor. Love the print of the local lighthouse above the bed. A great shower! Private carspace a bonus. Complimentary bottled water. Jazz music playing through the tv on arrival was a lovely touch. Netflix.

No Shampoo or Conditioner, so I ended up with very tangled hair. Private car space outside the room was a nice bonus, however no prior instructions provided regarding parking there. Had to walk the long way around to unload everything from the main car park before noticing I had a private space near room. Bed and pillows were not very comfortable, woke up with a terribly sore neck and back. A welcome note addressed to another person meant I had to contact the host to confirm I was in the right room. There is no WiFi in the room and my own optus network had no service either, I was in a total black spot. Walls are paper thin and could hear children screaming, crying, playing and adults talking, banging things about like they were in the same room. Very noisy. Did not feel safe in the street. Two men on Powell Avenue cat called and gestured to come into their yard. Not close to the town (45 mins one way, 45 mins back). Room is incredibly small. No space to even do stretches in the morning. Overpriced for what it is.

the room and bathroom had everything we needed . we didn’t arrive until 9.30pm and left at 7.00am so sadly didn’t meet the hosts but really wish we could have stayed longer they have a beautiful set up .
