Situated in Benalmadena, this attractive condo for $116 per night is a great option for your next vacation. Lovely bright beautifully decorated apartment within the popular Minerva Complex. Five swimming pools within an extensive and well-kept garden area. The swimming pools count with a team of life guards during high season and a lovely café bar alongside, only available to residents. On site is a 24-hour English speaking reception, hairdresser, beauty salon, etc. Across the road from the complex is the popular Bonanza Square, with its many and varied restaurants, bars, cafes and entertainment. Minerva complex is just a 15-min taxi ride from Malaga airport. Benalmadena Costa: Benalmadena is split into two sections with Benalmadena Costa the part of most interest to the many tourists who visit this popular Costa del Sol resort every year. The resort lies 15km south west of Malaga airport between the resorts of Fuengirola and Torremolinos. Benalmadena Costa is a coastal resort extending 8km along the coast which climbs up into mountains behind. The cable car from the coast up to the top of the mountain is a worthwhile trip. Benalmadena has more than 8km of blue flag beaches some of which are in small coves. A lot of work is carried out to maintain the cleanliness of the Costa Del Sols beaches. There are sun loungers and shades available for rent on the beaches as well as water sports available. Small bars and cafes line the flat promenade, which streches to Benalmadea Marina. Above Benalmadena Costa on the side of the mountain is Benalmadena Pueblo which is an attractive traditional Spanish Village. Entertainment in Benalmadena Costa: There's plenty of entertainment to amuse children, parents and grandparents alike. If you want to venture away from the swimming pool at Minerva and the beautiful local beaches Tivoli World amusement park is in nearby Arroyo de la Miel and has Wild West and flamenco shows and a cable-car ride. Equally popular are the Selwo Marina Dolphinarium and the Sealife Centre which has the biggest shark collection in Europe. There are water-sports facilities at the yacht club and plenty of golf courses in the vicinity. The stunning Benalmadena Marina is well worth the walk or short taxi ride from Minerva, during the day its a haven for everyone. During the night the Marina attracts the younger crowd who visit the many night clubs, many of which stay open all night! Locally the area surrounding the Minerva Complex is more geared towards families, although it offers many and varied bars, cafes, restaurants & entertainment it has a policy of no music to be played outside after midnight. Places to visit near Benalmadena Costa: The most popular excursions from Benalmadena include Marbella, Fuengirola, especially on market day, and Mijas. From Benalmadena Marina you can walk all the way along a flat promenade to Torremolinos with plenty of bars and restaurants on the way for refreshment. Slightly further afield are the Caves of Nerja and Malaga city tour. Full day tours are available to Granada to visit the Alhambra Palace, Seville, Cordoba, Ronda, Gibraltar and even Tangier in Morocco. If you don't fancy a scheduled coach tour or driving, you can always find a taxi for local outings and there are regular coastal bus services up and down the coast. The local train station is just a ten min walk from Minerva in Arroyo de la Miel, from which you can travel the length of the coast from Malaga right down to Gibraltar, the trains are excellent value for money. The trains leave for Malaga city every 30 mins, it’s well worth the effort to see the Moorish ruins of the Gibralfaro and the new Picasso museum.

Great in every way. Rosario was a great hostess and always available to answer any questions. The apartment had everything you needed. And the internet was super-fast. Really enjoyable stay and wouldn't stay anywhere else next time we are in Benalmadena.
And Rosario's grandson was a perfect host, he carried our suitcases and spoke better English than both of us :)

Had a brilliant stay in this lovely garden apartment. Couldn’t fault it. Would return in a heart beat. Check in was brilliant and support during our stay was faultless. Central, brilliant supermarket very close and everything you needed to remain in and enjoy the evenings and the apartment.

The property is ideally situated near restaurants and bars and Bonanza Square. There is a supermarket near by and the bus stop to Torremolinos or Fuengirola is just 5 minutes away. Rosario was an excellent host and the apartment was extremely well equipped with most essential items provided to start our holiday straight away.
We have been visiting Benalmádena over the last 32 years and have often stayed in the Minerva. We would have no hesitation in recommending this apartment as it is one of the best.

We've just returned from few days lovely trip. Apartment is in a very good location close to all amenities. We took the train from Malaga Airport and then it was about 15 minutes walk. Apartment is great! It is truly home from home as Rosario pays a lot of attention to the details. It's very clean and feels welcoming. Can recommend to anyone!

We have just returned after a wonderful 2 weeks. The host Rosario was at reception to meet us and was great at communicating with us before we actually got there , the apartment was wonderful , the complex pool area is magnificent. There is something to do for every taste and budget within 20 minutes walk from this prefect location. Close to the beach , the park, Arroyo , it was just perfect . The apartment was very well appointed with pretty much everything you have at home including a washing machine which is a godsend with 2 going kids, I would highly recommend and we will be returning

We had a fantastic 3 week stay at Rosario’s property . Rosario meet us at the property and showed us around and was very helpful and friendly. The property was spotlessly clean and really well equipped and it’s location was spot on . This property was brilliant for us as we were visiting in November the weather was lovely and warm and there was still plenty of restaurants open if you wanted to eat out but to be honest there are so many supermarkets if you wanted to eat at the flat you would be spoilt for choice , We used the train from the airport and it took us about 15 minutes to walk to the property from the Benalmadena arroyo del miel station and then about 15 minutes to walk from the property to the coast or the fabulous Palomal park at the bottom of the road . We are both walkers so we walked into Torremolinos and fuengirola but if your not so mobile the coast train from Malaga central to fuengirola stops at all the major towns and the airport and is extremely punctual cheap and reliable . We’ve stayed at a lot of properties in the costa del sol and this one ticked all the boxes and would love to go back . Thank you for a lovely stay Rosario.

Just back from having a lovely stay in this apartment in the Minerva could not fault it had everything you need for a self catering holiday our host Maria met us on arrival and went over everything with us such a lovely lady and had also left a few essentials in fridge to get us started, very thoughtful the apartment is in an excellent position for all the bars and eating places and about 10 mins from lovely beach I would highly recommend this apartment

We have just arrived home from Rosario’s apartment, and it was truly excellent.
From start to finish it was wonderful.
On arrival our flight was delayed by 2 hours, and Rosario was there waiting for us after 1am to greet us at the apartment and show us everything.
My wife has mobility problems, and as the apartment is on the ground floor of the building (-2 level) and it was easy for her to get to the pool.
The apartment has everything you need; Iron, hair dryer, plenty towels (including beach towels), dishwasher, washing machine, and air con.
If you are looking for a very comfortable apartment, next to local bars and restaurants in the square, and a supermarket right next to the complex, then look no further!👍

Perfect for a family of 4
Rosario greeted us at the apartment at 9:30pm and gave us the tour. The apartment is very clean and spacious, even with the couch turned into a bed. There was milk, 2L bottle of water, butter and jam in the fridge, wine and oranges, coffee & tea other condiments like oil & salt provided. Everything else you would need is also there (towels, linen, hand soap, dishwashing soap, garbage bags, paper towels, etc). The A/C is run on 1 Euro coins for 2H each, and she provided us with 6H of time during our 4-night stay. You can turn it on/off as needed and it was just enough to keep the place cool while we were there in the mornings and evenings. It's a 10-minute walk downhill to get to the beach and lots of restaurants along the boardwalk, but it means a 10+ minute walk uphill to get back (the area is very hilly). The pool area is huge. The slides were only open from 12-3pm when we were there and my teenage son said they hurt his back because they are made of concrete (he only went down twice after waiting 3 days to be there when they were open as we were usually out all day). The parking area for the apartment is very small, but there is free parking all around. It is a very busy area in the summer, but the furthest we had to park was 350m (4-minute walk) from the apartment. We really liked the apartment and would highly recommend it.

Perfect for a family of 4
I'm hesitant to recommend the property simply as it might increase the chances of it being already booked should we wish to return!....However, simply an excellent property with amenities (as described in advert) in a very good location. Lovely, personal, welcoming touches added to by the thoughtful host, Rosario. If returning to the area it will definitely be the first property that we look at for availability.

What a great little apartment! Perfect location for anyone with or without a car.
We travelled all around the Costa del Sol but there is a lot to do on your doorstep. The apartment is super clean and has everything you need. Our host was very welcoming and was great at getting back to us when we needed it. The pool and bar again are very clean and well kept. Walking distance to the beaches and harbour. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone wanting a relaxing holiday or just to use as base and travel around further afield.

Maria/host was excellent - great arrival pack, met us when we arrived to show us around and kept in contact during the booking process.

Week away stress free
This holiday apartment was perfect for a week away with my wife.
There was a little welcome pack for us, coffee, sugar, milk and a bottle of wine :-).
Cleanliness was good, and the little kitchen was perfect for a late breakfasts in the apartment.
The location was great, opposite Bonanza Square where there are an abundance of bars and restaurants including the live venue Bonanza bar. It was quiet during our stay ( Early Feb) but I could well imagine a hive of activity in summer season. The seafront was 10 minute stroll as was the town centre. Rosario meet us at the apartment and explained all we needed to know. A great week away with good location in Benalmadena

Our 2nd stay in the space of 1 month because we loved it so much. The apartment has everything you need and more, Rosario meets you and is such a friendly person, apartment is super clean and ideally located right across from Bonanza Square and 5 mins walk to either beach or Arroyo! 5 star accommodation
Apartment has got to be the cleanest I have ever stayed in during my many visits to Benalmadena, Maria was lovely and showed us round the apartment, lovely welcome pack even though we were only staying for 4 nights, this was really appreciated! You had everything you needed even dishwasher tablets and washing machine tablets!!! Oh cannot forget to mention the lovely oranges for freshly squeezed orange juice in the morning, I am now hooked :) will be staying again and would highly recommend to both friends and family, enjoy !!

Perfect apartment in perfect location.
We have juts returned from a gorgeous little girlie break. Myself and 3 of my friends arrived at the apartment and greeted by Rosario, we had early flight and room check in was from 4pm. Rosario done a lovely quick turn around and room was ready early for us but we had ventured out in the gorgeous town and walked down to the lovely Marina. The room had EVERYTHING you would need, towels, pool towels, butter, sugar , tea , dishwasher tablets and even some wine and sangria along with some oranges to put in.
The room was clean and felt lovely and homely. we loved sitting on balcony during early evening before getting ready to g out and would enjoy a game of uno sipping a cava! We enjoyed the little hifi as well.
The pool area was lovely, it was big, open and very clean. well life guarded and even some fun slides. ,We had amazing weather and loved chilling by the pool having a refreshing beer.
Apartment is great location right near a well priced supermarket and lots of little restaurants and bars. A little 20 min walk would take you to the marina which had some lovely restaurants. We would definitely recommend this apartment and would most definitely return. Thank you for such a lovely stay.
