My friends and I headed up to Tahoe for a ski weekend. We arrived just after 4pm, which was our designated check in time. There was no issues with getting into the house, but when we did we discovered it had not been cleaned. There were dirty towels in all of the bathrooms. All of the bed sheets were on the floors of the bedrooms. There were bags of trash left on the floor waiting to be taken out. I called the property management company and let them know the issue. They said they would raise a ticket to get the place cleaned as soon as possible, but could not give me a time line.
My group went out to dinner and when we returned a couple of hours later the place had been cleaned.
However we then discovered that the main fire place did not work. Once again I contacted the property management company and they said they would put in a service ticket. The fire place was never fixed during our two night stay.
On the final night we discovered that there were two separate established leaks with the kitchen sink. We cleaned up the mess, but could not use the kitchen sink or the dishwasher for the rest of the evening or our final morning there.
This review is more reflective on the property management company than the property.

Easy to check in, easy to use, easy to comunicate and fast to respond. Beautiful house, nice and close to town. Walking distance to so many things. Will definatly stay again.

The house is roomy, solid, and comfortable. Our family of 12 fit comfortably and had a great time hanging out. The kitchen is large and well-equipped, the dining table is long, and the living room is spacious. There is plenty of outdoor space as well, on the deck and in two separate seating areas below. The house is in a perfect location, just three blocks from the beach. Everything in the home was clean when we arrived. Unfortunately, there were two major drawbacks that are keeping me from giving the home 5 stars: the hot tub, which we'd been looking forward to using, was full of dirt and smelled bad; and the grill, which we were counting on for a family cookout, wouldn't ignite. A few other smaller things were less than perfect as well - no extra towels, an unpleasantly stained comforter in the downstairs double bedroom; popcorn on the pull out couch when we pulled it out, and not-great-smelling linens for that bed, causing the person who was going to sleep there to have to double up with another family member; a screen door to the deck that didn't function properly; only one dish towel in the house; and a slightly wonky lock box. These all seem like things that could be improved with better management - the house itself was solid and in good shape. Unfortunately, these did impact our stay...once you're there and your whole family is in bathing suits going out to the hot tub and you've got the burgers ready for the grill that won't light, it doesn't do you any good to call a Vacasa main number, since we were only staying for the weekend anyway. You want those things to work! Anyhow, besides that it was truly a great house.

Great open space to gather, super close to town and plenty of space in the home. The only issues we had was with the bedding. There were serious stains on the sheets and comforters, which the cleaning crew offered to come switch out once we contacted them.

The upstairs had a great den and kitchen area where we could enjoy family time cooking and watching TV. Great central location in Kings Beach. I would definitely recommend this property. Especially if you have a large crew.

Walking distance to town and to the lake. 15 minutes drive to Diamond Peak for a week of snowboarding. We did lots of cooking and the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals for our large family. The kids really enjoyed the jacuzzi each day after snowboarding. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home. We were there the week before Christmas and we were so happy to walk in and see a Christmas tree set up in the living room for us to enjoy.

Beautiful place to stay for my niece's wedding down at King's Beach, walking distance. Very clean and well stocked with the exception of towels. However, we read this in another review so we brought a few from home. All of my texts to the company were answered very quickly! Loved the two stories so my daughter and her family (with 2 children) could have their own space. Loved the labeled light switches, it made everything fool proof. We would not hesitate to stay here again. Thank you for sharing your home!

With only 7 guests, we had to run to the store to purchase more toilet paper on the second day. Towels were in short supply also. If we had a full house of 12 ( I believe) we would have had to share towels or buy more towels for our stay.
Other those issues house was very nice and well located for our needs.

We had 14 people staying at this house. The size of the house was great. The location of the house was great. You definitely need to bring your own towels (not just beach towels), blankets, spices for cooking. The TV downstairs didn’t work. Overall we had a great stay but I do think the house could be better stalked with things.

We had 14 people staying at this house. The size of the house was great. The location of the house was great. You definitely need to bring your own towels (not just beach towels), blankets, spices for cooking. The TV downstairs didn’t work. Overall we had a great stay but I do think the house could be better stalked with things.

It is a nice house don’t get me wrong, but it has a horrible view from the kitchen and the dining rooms! There are 2 slum-like houses immediately behind this house! Because we spend so much time cooking and eating together that it was so disappointing to have to keep the shades down ALL the time. The island chairs are no longer stable one was slightly damaged. If you were lean back in them they could fall over. The bedspreads and furniture had an older not really a clean fresh feel to them but that might not bother some people! But then it might some so I’ll mention it in this review. Upon vacating the property the thermostat didn’t work as described but that’s not a big deal.
Other than that the house itself is large, spacious and has a great layout for my husband and I, our 2 daughters, and their children. All the bathrooms were clean and large enough for our families needs and the laundry room was nice and conveniently located. The home isn’t too far from the main strip into town but too far for younger children that wouldn’t normally be in a stroller. It also had ample and convenient parking for our 3 vehicles.
For us we wouldn’t rent it again because we would rather be a little further away from lake and have a place that the windows and shades could be open to enjoy the beautiful views that we really didn’t have from any window in this house.

Nice house/Horrible view
It is a nice house don’t get me wrong, but it has a horrible view from the kitchen and the dining rooms! There are 2 slum-like houses immediately behind this house! Because we spend so much time cooking and eating together that it was so disappointing to have to keep the shades down ALL the time. The island chairs are no longer stable one was slightly damaged. If you were lean back in them they could fall over. The bedspreads and furniture had an older not really a clean fresh feel to them but that might not bother some people! But then it might some so I’ll mention it in this review. Upon vacating the property the thermostat didn’t work as described but that’s not a big deal.

Loved this place for a big group
We loved staying in this house. The kitchen/living/dining room was big and a great space to gather. We loved having the hot tub and the big backyard for activities. It is also great that it is within walking distance to the beach and shops and restaurants. Will definitely consider renting again for our annual trip. The space felt clean and there was plenty of supplies like dishware and towels.
