No Exceptions! **Please note that there are security cameras on the outside of the house. This is solely for security purposes. Please do not exceed the maximum amount of occupants for this home. (Spread Eagle Lane is very soft in the winter months. Snow removal is provided for our guests but trucks with Large trailers need to unload at the Stamp Meadows Parking Lot. This parking area is located about 1.5 miles West from the cabin, down Yale Kilgore Road. Please do not take large trailers to the cabin. You will be responsible for a tow truck if needed.) North Star Lodge sits on a large wooded lot with beautiful forest views in every direction. Located in the Rancho McCrea area of Island Park it's close to West Yellowstone, Montana. Enjoy comfortable furnishings throughout the cabin. Towels and linens are provided. Great room has large picture windows to see the surrounding beauty of the area. Satellite T.V and DVD player is provided for your entertainment. Gas fireplace in great room to keep you warm and cozy in colder weather. Kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, microwave, fridge, stove with oven, small appliances, pots & pans, dishes and utensils. The large dining table seats 8 and extra seating at kitchen island. Nice fire pit in the backyard of the property (Bring your own wood.) Washer and dryer on the main level with detergent provided. Along with being only minutes away from West Yellowstone and the West entrance in Yellowstone National Park, there are numerous other activities that you can enjoy. There is a location 10 miles away that you can rent boats to float down the Henry's Fork of the Snake River. Moose in the River is a common sighting on this adventure, it is enjoyable for all ages. Just twenty minutes south, there are two waterfalls you can see - Upper and Lower Mesa Falls. They are both breathtaking. We had a great time. Close to Yellowstone, close to horse riding, close to the water for boating activities. Bring your own food because it is not close to a grocery store and limited to restaurants.

Exactly what we were hoping for. Beautiful LARGE and spacious cabin for 24 people. Met all of our needs…hot tub, kitchen was stacked, grill, fire pit etc. Remote area…we had moose in our yard!! But a quick drive to town for gas/groceries and lots to do. Great pizza/ice cream parlor right on the Snake River. 30 min drive to West Yellowstone
Cabin was clean, comfortable and owners were wonderful. Great communication. We will be back!!

Just enough off the beaten path to give it a rustic feel; we enjoyed the heavily wooded lot. Everyone was pleased with the hot tub, fire pit, upstairs deck and comfy sitting area. Well-stocked kitchen and plenty of bath towels. Would definitely recommend!

Property was correct size
The beds were horrible I am over 50 had to sleep on the couch the mattress are hard! Most of my family woke up sore. there are tons of nails sticking out of the deck! One grandson cut his foot. Unacceptable. Not just a nail but 30 plus.

We loved the property. Location great. Close to main road. Secluded and surrounded by beautiful trees. Kitchen well stocked. Spacious yet home like feeling. Family loved time there.

Home was very roomy for our group of 10. Several cooks in the group found the kitchen to be very well stocked. Convienient to West entrance of Yellowstone. Having 2 stacked washer/dryer's was great for our group in the middle of our trip. The rental rate was very reasonable for the size of the property! We always appreciate people sharing their home!
Several suggestions for the owners
-label the thermostates we were not sure which controled what
-some seating on the side porch by the gas grill would be nice
-the "fire pit" area was not very inviting , no seating and was overgrown with weeds in the area. It could be a much nicer spot and a real focal spot on cool nights.
-several lamps had missing or burned out light bulbs having some spares would have been good ,don't mind replacing them.
-the hand rail at entrance needs to be replaced one side was missing and both have rotten wood. We arrive after dark and the railing was a safety hazard.

Well stocked kitchen, very helpful as we were cooking. Evenings did get warm tho. We used box fans around to help circulate, esp while cooking. Loft was too warm to utilize. We wished for more bathrooms downstairs, but we managed. Loved the dual washer and dryer, super. We thought location and offering was good for the price and would stay again.

Perfect size for all of us.
We had a family gathering about 20 guests. There was plenty of room and more beds than we needed. Many different spaces to hang out and be together but not on top of each other. We enjoyed our stay and thought the property was great for the group we had.

Fantastic cabin in a fantastic location
This house was absolutely perfect for our stay. Spacious, well kept, clean and well stocked in a great location. Right on the edge of the woods and near the river, it was a great location to feel like you were secluded and enjoy the beautiful country, we even saw a moose out of the living room window! On top of our planned Yellowstone adventures we really enjoyed the hot tub, fire ring, pool table and just hanging out at the house. The kitchen was probably the best stocked of any rental I've ever stayed in. And it was super convenient to have two washers and dryers for a group of our size. Highly recommend!

Our long Thanksgiving weekend was near perfect with our stay at this cabin. It was clean, everything worked, the beds were comfortable, and it was the best stocked rental we’ve ever stayed in. The house was clean and comfortable for our family of 13. However, we were disappointed that the fireplace did not work, the coffee maker was broken, and we had to boil our drinking water. The drinking water was not the owner's fault, but we were not warned about the the unsanitary water until two days before we arrived and no discount was offered for the lack of clean water.

Lovely, roomy home in the pines. It had 3 levels, 2 full-sized refrigerators, hot tub and 3 family gathering areas. The interior is beautifully done although the exterior could use a little tlc. Especially the handrails which are broken and full of splinters. We had a great time in this cabin.

Great Get-Away
This is a lovely cabin! The layout is great! Well stocked with kitchen equipment and dishes. The double washers and dryers and refrigerators were wonderful! We enjoyed the hot tub after a long day of exploring Yellowstone. The kids named the upper loft their secret hideout and enjoyed hanging out up there! Couches were very comfortable! Bathroom layouts were perfect for several people getting ready at one time. We enjoyed our stay here very much!
