We enjoyed our visit to Banner Elk. The cabin was comfortable and met our needs. The only down side was that we never figured out how to work the TV for our 6 year old. Other than that we would recommend this cabin to friends and family. The hot tub was a big hit with all!

Great location with plenty to do. Stayed here with adults, an infant and dogs. Everyone had a wonderful time. We cooked breakfast and dinner , kitchen was well stocked. Highly recommend. Will stay again!!

Nice location - close to Lees-McRae college and Beech Mountain. Kitchen was well equipped, bedrooms were spacious. Fire pit and hot tub are a nice addition. Nice beds and bathrooms.

We have a great stay at the cozy cabin. It truly was a cozy cabin and was as described in the listing. It was old school with no overhead lights downstairs, so arriving at dusk, we were not expecting that and had to find the lamps to turn on, but it was no big deal. There was a deer head on the wall that startled my wife as we were trying to get the lamps on as she about ran into it. It is located on the main road to Beech Mountain, so it has a lot of traffic going by and has a bit of road noise, but it did not really bother us. Other than that, the cabin was a great selection and we enjoyed our weekend there. Communication with the host was good and we had no issues during our stay. We would recommend this cozy cabin.

Loved it! The fence wouldn't contain our dogs, as half of it was just a high hill and they are active dogs, but that was okay. Lots of deer and a great view from the back, but it's near a busy road in the front

Very cozy cabin! Pictures are spot on. Cute decor. Plenty of kitchen amenities. Check-in was easy. The cabin was very clean. The host is exceptional! I stayed for five weeks. I ran into a couple of issues, but the host was very attentive and immediately remedied the problems. I had my older medium size dog with me. The side yard was secure and great for him to wander around. He had difficulty navigating the stairs to the second floor bedrooms-but he is 15yo after all! Other than that, a very dog friendly property. Location is perfect. Literally five minutes from the town center yet nestled amid all the trees and nature. Loved the hot tub!

We stayed at this cozy cabin to visit the Land of Oz event. The cabin is in a great location close to the Land of Oz on Beech mountain and Banner Elk. We had a great stay, loved the fireplace. Would definitely rent again.

I reserved this place as a Christmas gift for my husband. After all the business of the season, the two of us and our dogs were able to sneak away for a few days and so as one skiing and relaxing. The location was perfect for those things. And the hot tub might be the biggest hot tub I’ve ever seen! Which was really nice for stretching out, warming up, and relaxing after being on the slopes.

The property was great. The road going next to it was somewhat busy. As with a lot of houses up there there was no a/c. It was a little muggy at night. I think it should be listed no a/c. I realize it didn’t say it did. However, most would assume it does. It was clean and all appliances worked. The beds were a little hard. I would stay again in a cooler month

This cute cabin was perfect for a fun girls getaway with pups in tow. It had every comfort needed and a perfect little side yard for the dogs to stretch and relieve themselves. Close to hiking areas and proximity to other towns for exploration. Weather was perfect, nice front porch for relaxing and playing games after a long day of hiking. The spa was a bonus for aching muscles. I would definitely recommend!

I BOOKED A WEEKEND IN BANNER ELK AT LOG MANOR TO CELEBRATE HIS ACOMPLISHMENT. WE ARRIVED AROUND CHECK IN TIME AND FOUND THE LOCATION EASILY. WHEN WE WALKED INTO THE CABIN, WE WER VERY PLEASED. SO MUCH ROOM AND LOCATION TO THE VILLAGE OF BANNER ELK ( 5 MINUTE DRIVE AT MOST). VERY CLEAN AND EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO SET UP HOME FOR VACATION. BEDS WERE VERY COMFORTABLE AND HOT TUB WAS GREAT. WE WILL BE RETURNING ON OUR NEXT VISIT

Came to Banner Elk for some hiking. We left there with amazing memories. Great wineries, breweries, hikes and accommodations at this cabin! The cabin was so clean, relaxing, and had everything you need. Loved the relaxed vibe of the cabin. The fire place, the hot tub, the fire pit, the wilderness decor, the front porch, the screened in porch made it all so "cabiney". Thanks Rueben for the communication and providing a great place for us to experience Avery County!

I’ll start off by saying… don’t judge a book by its cover. I won’t lie, when we pulled up my husband and I were a little disappointed in the location of the cabin… it’s very close to the road but that disappointment QUICKLY wore off. This cabin is so quaint, so clean, and so peaceful. It was perfect for our little family of 3. If you’re sensitive to sound at night (like I am) then just bring a white noise machine! The proximity to the road won’t keep us from booking this place again. Honestly a great location if you plan to spend a little time in Banner Elk and a little time snowboarding. Book this cabin, you won’t regret it!

We really enjoyed our trip to Banner Elk! The cabin was easy to find, located on main road heading to Beech Mountain. We found it decorated nicely and well stocked. We found the beds to be comfortable. The hot tub clean and private. Owner communications were timely and professional! We will be back! Thanks for the hospitality Rubin and Laura!!

Great stay at Rubens place! It is so close to both ski resorts in the area located right between them. We were able to get to and from them very easily. It’s outside of the hustle and bustle so if you want peace and quiet at the end of your day this is the place for you. The hot tub is located in the back porch which made it perfect to relax and soothe sore muscles without being completely out in the cold. Cabin had everything we needed and Ruben was up front with communication which is always appreciated! We were able to prepare for our stay before we left and had a great stay because of it! Thanks so much for sharing your property with us during such a busy time of the year for this area. We will definitely be back when it’s not so busy to really make use of what the area has to offer!

The house was great and excellent location. Everything was as advertised, cozy with nice fireplace. Bed was super comfortable, plenty of blankets, towels, etc... Great yard for the dogs, safe with a fence and room to play in the snow. Rubin the host/owner couldn't have been nicer, very accommodating and always responded immediately. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend this great log home in Banner Elk !

We loved this little cabin. Perfect setup for the four of us. It was very clean, kitchen had what we needed, conveniently located between the two ski resorts as well as close to downtown Banner Elk (adorable!). The hosts were very accommodating. We will definitely come back!!
