Pub was nice and staff are lovely. The rooms are basic but clean.

The windows in the room were locked. That made me uneasy because it’s an escape route in case of fire. No tea making facilities in the room. We went to order breakfast which is advertised but was only offered an egg or bacon sandwich. Still no cup of tea offered.

Staff were less than approachable, abrupt, felt like abit of an inconvenience. Room was very very poor. Didn’t explain check in/ check, or if we wanted to come in late (we were attending a wedding). We asked before we left to go to the venue only to have said we need a key to the front door of the pub it’s a good job we asked. Only reason we didn’t complain was because of the price I’m aware you get what you pay for, but the room was honestly awful. Door wouldn’t close properly, leak stains covering the ceiling, mattress was like cardboard pillows like paper, holes in the walls, radiator wasn’t even attached to the wall it was just balancing up the wall from the floor. Tv didn’t work due to signal issue I presume. The radiator was also covered in what looked like slime. The photos attached look a lot better than in person.

Bad smell in corridors, some staff were friendly however some were rude, bit of a rough area wouldn’t recommend to those staying with children.

all of it it was not nice at all wallpaper peeling off the walls broken toilet holder no bin , springs poking through mattresses and in one bed wood on top of springs to stop springs coming through Also it say there is a restaurant but we was told no food no chef

The front of the Inn was not welcoming, toilets were not available for use downstairs when we came down for breakfast. The seats in the dining room were in disrepair. The air was very stale in the corridors, the dining room and in the bedrooms. One person in our party had a leaky roof in his bed room. The place had potential but it seems as if the owners have given up on making the place attractive to a wide range of clientele, rooms lack waste bin, there was no hot drinks station. Breakfast was very greasy and I had to wait for a long time for my breakfast.
