Communication was very easy. On time pick up. Detailed explanation of the property. AC in the room (but will cost more). Breakfast was amazing and they are very accommodating. It's far from the city but it was perfect for me as I had a late inbound flight. It cost 8-12 Sols to get to town from here via tuktuk.

Die Zimmer liegen im Innenhof, so das die Geräusche der Mototaxi gut abgeschottet werden.
Der Vermieter spricht sehr gut englisch und ist überaus hilfsbereit, inkl. angebotenen Transport zum Flughafen, da es noch dunkel war zu meiner notwendigen Zeit.
Die Bilder vom Pool passen nicht mehr zur Realität und läd nicht wirklich zum Baden ein.

Mein Aufenthalt im Guest House Poseidon war sehr angenehm! Sehr gut gelegen zum Flughafen aber genauso bequem erreicht man in etwa 15 Minuten das Stadtzentrum. Mir hat die Fahrt vom Hotel zum Stadtzentrum auch gut gefallen, weil man sofort einen Eindruck von der Stadt Iquitos bekommt. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber, groß und liebevoll eingerichtet. Klimaanlage olé :-) Einige haben sogar eine Hängematte zum Entspannen. Alles ist gut isoliert, man hört keinen Lärm und kann super schlafen. Ich habe mich sofort wohl gefühlt. Wie überall in der Selva, kann das Internetsignal nicht immer perfekt sein, dass weiß aber jeder vorher, wenn er fernab von den Metropolen und Hauptstädten reist. Für mich am wichtigsten: Die Besitzer sind sehr sympathisch und freundlich! Sie kennen sich sehr gut in Iquitos aus und können wertvolle Insider-Empfehlungen geben. Man fühlt sich so, als ob man zu Besuch bei guten Freunden ist. Ich wurde vom Besitzer zum Flughafen gefahren, sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Ein weiteres Highlight war für mich der Pool - Sauber und einladend um eine Runde zu schwimmen und sich abzukühlen!
Ich werde definitiv beim nächsten Besuch wieder kommen.

The rooms are very big and clean! The owners are so nice! Really friendly people that want to help with everything! The pool is also very nice, so you just can chill here!
When you need a hotel near from the airport, it is perfect but it is quiet far from the city center.

Everything was amazing!!!!!! Wilson & his wife were so good to us and extremely kind. They ordered pizza for us and even dropped us at the airport free of charge the next morning (at 05.30!). They are extremely good people and we really enjoyed our stay. I would recommend anyone coming to Iquitos to stay here.

very close to the airport and a very helpful owner - went out of his way to look after us. We weren’t there long enough to enjoy the pool but it looked good. Perfect spot if you need to be close to the airport

The hotel was really closed to the airport and it was very convenient and comfortable. I enjoyed Charlie’s company(tuxedo cat) by the pool the first night and the clean and soft bed. Wilson prepared for me a delicious breakfast and was very helpful with all my requests.

My time staying at Posideon guest house was magically beautiful ! I was only there for 1 day & night before leaving for a retreat in the jungle and I couldn't have picked a better place! Winston & his wife are amazing hosts. Friendly, attentive and caring. Full of love and very helpful !
The property oozes of peruvian culture, the beautiful trees and plants, the sounds of nature and the sweet smells. If you are travelling and need a place to stop by, I would highly recommend this facility and will personally be staying again on my next travels back to the jungle.

No water pressure or hot water (still managed); two dogs in caged area by pool (barked a lot and was sad to see how they were living)..

Wilson responds quickly to questions and requests. He manages the property with his wife, and both are very welcoming and nice! I would recommend this for anyone visiting Iquitos as it is close to the airport!

Great swimming pool that is very welcome in this region with tropical heat. If i ever stay in iquitos again, it will likely be in poseidon!! Good beds, good size of rooms, with badly needed airco.

Poseidon Guest house is the perfect stopover if you're heading into the jungle or just want a tranquil couple of days in Inquitos! The space is clean, welcoming and an oasis for any traveler! Not to mention Wilson and Liliana are the most exceptional hosts!

Nice host and location close to the airport (5 minutes walk)
It is not so comfortable there was not even a chair or a table in the room. Also it is very expensive for what it is you pay just to be next to the airport. you find full apartments with half the price downtown.

Wilson Vasquez, the owner, was amazing. The experience was like a bed and breakfast. It felt like I was visiting family. From the accommodation to breakfast to giving me information about location and restaurants he was exceptionally warm and friendly. And the facility was very comfortable and had a home feel in many ways.
It is close to the airport so proximity to airport is great but downto is about 15 to 20 minutes away so for convenience to downtown maybe a little more effort than needed but manageable.

Breakfast was simple, tasty and nutritious. Location close to airport. Manager Wilson picked me up at airport and upon my return trip from the jungle drove me around (bank and lab) to ensure I had the appropriate Covid test to board my return flight. Manager and wife are real class acts and I would definitely trust them on a return visit.
The location is close to airport and a cheap ($3 USD) motorcycle carriage (TukTuk) ride to "downtown" area. I was more interested in a clean place to stay prior to my jungle visit. The payment process is not as straight forward as Visa but the extra step ensures $ stays local.

nice swimming pool and very helpful staff! Wilson helped us with our bus booking for the next day, did the laundry and brought us to the airport.

the owner of this hotel was probably one of the nicest owners of hotels I have ever met in my life. he did everything he could for us, he even took me and my boyfriend to the airport and the of the stay. I recommend this place 200 times. there’s nothing I didn’t like about staying there.

Wilson made sure I’m all set. He genuinely wanted to help with everything I needed, driving me to town, ordering food for me, taking me to get fruits, and more.
Very very loving and caring.
Mosquitos were a little bit of a pain, but it wasn’t a big deal, I used a spray. No complaints.
